Meiko hugged Amelia back, and after that, watched Ammy perform the spell one more time. After seeing the silver-colored mist that had about two bumps, no ears, she cheered. "Try it one more time, I think I saw something... ears perhaps~"

Amelia Frances Joan

User ImageAmelia turned to look at her. "You thought they were ears too? It's like a dog's...like a German Shepard's," she clarified. It would definitely make a good protector, though she didn't understand why of all animals it would be a German Shepard. She couldn't think of any connection she had to one. She'd hardly even seen them. If anything, her protector was Maggie. Her thoughts weren't clear, so the next try wasn't particularly successful, but she focused on her memory again to see if she could succeed. Meiko was waiting for her to do it; she had to.

"Hmm, a German Shepard, huh..." Meiko wondered as she waited for her dear friend to perform the spell again.

Amelia Frances Joan

User ImageAmelia shrugged. It was mostly a complete guess. Just the first thing that came to mind when she thought of pointed ears. Casting the spell again, she felt the difference. Her wand felt as if it was working twice as hard, and it was slower when the bluish mist appeared. For a split second it formed a clear image; one of a fox sitting gracefully, then vanished. Amelia was frozen in surprise. It felt real, but was it? Turning her head slowly towards her helpful friend, she questioned, "Did you see that?" Her voice was hushed, for if it were a dream, she wanted to keep the memory.

'You might belong in Gryffindor, Where dwell the brave at heart, Their daring, nerve, and chivalry Set Gryffindors apart;'

Ginelle Ginny Alaine DeLuccia

. Thinking . . Speaking . . Action .

Ginny watched Amelia cast her Patronus. 'She got it? Of course...' She was jealous of how Amelia had always beat her at everything. She actually glared at Amelia for a second, letting the jealousy fill her thoughts. It was hurtful that she couldn't get things like Amelia could sometimes. She wasn't as bright, she wasn't as crafty with her magic, and she definitely couldn't manage her time like Amelia could. Clearing her mind of jealousy over Amelia's Brilliant work and her greatness, she started to think about Her mother again. There was this one moment where her mother first talked about Magic, and revealing the truth about her father. It was overwhelming to her, and although she acted angry with her mother, she was filled with ultimate joy. "Expecto Patronum." The Shield was thick, strong, and very large. She was proud of this, but still, she couldn't get it to how she wanted it. She tried again, and again, and again, but she still couldn't get it. It was starting to annoy her that Amelia could get it, who was also a first year, and Ginelle could not. Maybe that was Ginelle's problem - She was too focused on what she couldn't do, and what Amelia could do.

Kenneth pulled out his grandfathers pocket watch and flipped open the cover to check the time, it was nearly time for the class to end. He closed the lid and slipped the watch back into his robes and then addressed the class. "Attention please. Class is nearly over for today we just have a few more minutes remaining, and I just wanted to say how proud I am of all of you. You all have surpassed my expectations with this charm. I know that with continued practice you will be able to pull off a fully body Patronus in time. As I think the open forum idea worked quite well, we will continue with that next lesson."

The lesson will be over? She couldn't let that happen. She needed to do this before the class was over. She needed to prove herself."Expecto Patronum." The shield erupted out of her wand again, the same as it was before. She let it go, and started concentrating on her mother even more. She muttered the spell again, watching the shield come out of her wand once more. But, this time, something was happening. It was swirling, as if it were attempting to change into something. "Expecto Patronum!" The shield disappeared, and a new one came. But, it was forming into a thick whispy image. It was very blury, but it was more than she expected. She watched it closely, thinking about her mother some more. She stopped, realizing how much strain it was putting on her. This was very difficult...

She took a seat, taking a breath, being proud of her accomplishment now. The form, what ever it was, came through her hard work. She had to try once more though. What was a happier memory? Was there one? She stood up and took some deep breaths, clearing her mind. Then, slowly, she let the memories of her mother fill her up. She had been thinking about her this whole time, but she only got the shield and whisps to come from the spell every time. But, it got stronger everytime she found a stronger memory of her mother. What was stronger than her mother in her memory? That's when it hit her. Her father was...

User Image((I only let her cast it since she had Meiko's help, and I thought that's what Meiko was going for. I didn't intend for it to happen again for a long while, nor did the spell last long after she'd cast it. If you want me to change it I can.))

Amelia winced, she'd felt..was it hatred? Turning in the direction she was surprised to see Ginny, though the girl was merely working on her Patronus, and didn't seem to be particular focused on her. Still, she was sure that hatred for a second was real. It was led by something strong, like annoyance or jealousy. But she refused to believe that it could come from her friend, Gin. No. It must have been something else. Maybe she was mad at the difficulty of the spell? No, someone else was mad. Not her. Still, the young girl stared towards her friend, a look almost to the point of horror across her face.

Ginelle looked over at her friend, and realized she was watching her. Why is she watching me? She wondered. Ginelle was hardly anything special in this class, nor was she able to cast the charm the right way. She gave a half-hearted smile to her, realizing that her previous thoughts of her friend was wrong, and she should probably apologize. But, did Amelia know about it? Probably not. Ginelle just kept at her work.

When she finally came to the conclusion that her father was the strongest, happiest memory she had, she focused her thoughts on a vivid memory of her father. One where he was helping her fly her broom when she was young. She wasn't ready to cast the spell yet, but she knew that soon, she would do it.

|| Oh! I wasn't... asking yooou so to speak. Nerevar yelled at me for doing it too early, so I put her through more trials... And now I'm asking his permission to cast it again... =] |||

[[ I didn't really yell at you, I just pointed out that you were after all only a 1st year and that it would be stretching the believability that you could produce a fully body one after all a few attempts like that. Um as for now, as long as its a very short lived one I don't have a problem with it. I still don't think someone in their 1st year would be able to produce one like someone in the 6th or 7th. ]]

[[ @ Eclipse: No no yours was fine, I'm okay with a 1st year producing a short lived one, after many attempts. But if it had been like Mekio's or Aludra's then I would have had a problem with that. ]]

Aludra Yvette...

Aludra heard the class was nearly over and a grin crept onto her face. She threw her book into her bag and sat paciently on the floor with her legs criss crossed and waited for the class to be dismissed.

Meiko clapped her hands as she watched Amelia's fox-shaped Patronus disappear. She said happily to her hardworking friend with a friendly grin. "Wow, a fox huh. Great job, Ammy~"

User Image((Oh, okay...as long as you're sure. ))

Amelia hugged her friend again. This time the happiness that made her giddy was all hers. Spinning the two of them around, she laughed,
"You're amazing Meiko!" She knew she couldn't have done it without her. Now that she'd succeeded, she felt higher than even before. Nothing could bring her down. The possibility of Ginny disliking her had faded from her mind, not to return today.
