Knives smirked as he formed three of his signature fire jars and juggled them in his hands before blasting them up into the air with a trajectory that the location should be hidden. Well hidden at least until they exploded to cause chaos. Hopefully enough that Knives could sneak through to get a chance to move and get a better location to sense and find Ayame. These guys were good, but Knives knew that he was better.

Distraction, theatricallity, and pyrotechnics....Mam, Bast, and San would be pleased with this method. As expected, the powerful explosives would cause the ninja to rush about, attempting to put out the fire. If knives was going to leave, now he had a chance....

'Better get going.' 'Nah, I got a better idea' Knives smirked creating a clone of himself and sending him on his way quick as he could. If somehow the clone was caught, they'd think they would have found him. But Knives was gonna check the rest of the village. There was rumor of a remote section of the village that Knives had never visited before, it was said to be out of the way. The clone set off quick as he could as Knives reversed his course and headed off to the remote section of the village.

Knives made it to near the entrance to the Village and headed to a more secluded section on the inside the wall to set Ayame down and patch her up some. The section was a bit of a hidden hole in the wall near the entrance that was usually used by Academy students during hide and seek, so it should have worked in a pinch. He wasn't the medical ninja but he knew at least about getting wounds patched at least. Not to mention at least let Ayame get chakra flowing and get the cloth unsealed hopefully.

"Knives step back please so I can see if I can break this seal. I can't move because of it." Ayame pushed her chakra through and to each of the symbols then outside her body making lightning armor. She then would try moving a finger. Hopefully it worked and she would dissipate the lightning armor.

San woudl appear in a plum of smoke, looming over the two from a near by terrace with an approving look on his face.
"Situation complete, congratulations Knives, you passed the test. I shall ahve to speak with you later concerning your new duties. To confirm, my identity is Sanshi Satetsu, born to Raizen and Lola, i had 2 brothers Jin and Sarus, and Mamoru was my teacher. "
San dropped down reaching for the sealed cloth scroll. He would undo the seal, and let it unroll. He maintained his alertness on Ayame as he spoke reaching into his bag for a patch. The art on the patch was fairly simplistic, just the seven chakras breaking through a seal set.
"Congratulations Ayame, on completing the SERE course. You are the first one to have completed it in a long time. "
He would stick around. Many of them would possibly have questions, and James would probably be in rout.

Ayame looked at San with eyes wide then took the patch, as Daichi pounced on her, "Ow buddy, ok, ok," she hugged him close then looked back at San, "What is the SERE and what do I do with this? Also just to let you know you are a great sensei but sometimes I wanna slap you in the face...........with chair." she said. "On the last note, thank you Knives." Daichi whined at her and gently nosed her cheek, "I'm good bud, I figured out it wasn't the real you so thanks for bein so stubborn." Daichi barked and lay the whole front half of his body in her lap. Ayame scrunched her nose at the pain running through her leg and abdomen, but dealt with it.

While San seemed to prove who he was Knives still remained close to his blades. Something he had been used to doing a lot lately. He just looked at San slightly quizzically as they waited on James. Perhaps he would check out the canons again and everything at the crevice. "Interesting way of testing, of that I will admit, San." Knives said looking at him through the slit in his face cover.
"Ayame, you're welcome. But it's what Suna nin do, never leave one behind." Knives said with a slight bow to her.

the sannin gave an approving nod to knives, as he understood what he was talking about.
"Very good Knives, I'm glad i have taught you that lesson. Ayame, you did well to play in your recovery. SERE stands for survival, Evasion, Resistance, and escape. You can do whatever you want with the path Ayame, maybe put it on Daichi's collar? he did as much of this training as you did. Well, Knives i will see you at the HQ. Ayame get yourself taken care of."

James made his way to the village crevice, looking for the others over the village and not finding them, he found Ayame alone with Daichi, and his biosense immediately told him she was injured in several places. James scanned the area as he moved to her.
"What the flying ******** happened to you?" he asked in as best a caring manner as he could with his clear readiness for violence and anger. He quickly moved to assess her wounds and sit her down.

Ayame smiled up at James then thought better of it when her jaw protested, "Um SERE mission. I got a patch," she said showing it to him. "San threw lots of blunt kunai, I protected my head, but somehow got knocked unconscious anyway. Woke up in a room tied up got punched in the face like five times and then stabbed in the leg by a kunai. Oh and let's not mention that I watched some clone or something of Daichi get mutilated and killed, but that one acted differently so figured out it was a fake. All in all I'm not dead so yay." Daichi tilted his head at this revelation and nosed her arm and got off her lap and out of James' way.

San would appear in a poff of white smoke again, looking over the duo of Ayame and James. He had briefed Knives about his new duties, and figured he would stay at the gates for a moment. It was probably neccessary anyways...

James gave Ayame a agitated look. "Since when in all hell did we start doing SERE? you signed up for this?" James asked as he sat her down and sealed the stab wound it would take him a few moments to treat it all.

Knives stuffed something in his clothes quickly, so it was not seen. Only San, and well perhaps James if he connected the Dots together knew what it was. "Think about it, why else would we do such things Ayame?" He spoke looking out into the desert, a different look in his eyes. One of almost calm, yet determined. Not like the rage that had been filling it just moments ago.
