I think I might be experiencing writer's block. confused I can't think of anything to write for Special. I don't want to write for Laura until she gets her magic back. 3nodding

sweatdrop I know Daemon having a change of heart was mentioned but I just can't write it.
I had an idea, but it didn't involve any of my characters sweatdrop and that would be god-moding. Maybe Special can slap some sense into Ace?

smile Here, I'll try how's this:
Close. Too close. The blast of flames flew past Daemon, sending this eye-bot into a frenzy of "WARNING! FIRE HAZARD!!!"
The artifical strands of hair on his head sizzled and crinkled, for the first time abandoning their perfectly styled state.
It made him look disoriented...almost human, as he leaned against the control panel, oberving the demon's display of power.
WARNING: EXP. 2.07 MAGI, FAILING!
Behind him lights were flashing and sirens were blaring.
Dammit!
Avarice had been his downfall, he knew he shouldn't have filled the battery to full capcity.
No matter. The process could be reversed.
Retreiving the canister of magic, Daemon keyed his code into the system, which was thankfully still functioning. A hatch opened to his right and he placed the canister in.
After several typed commands, the canister close and the magic inside began to deplete.
10%, he'd sacrifice that much. Daemon would need the rest, he was sure of it.

Laura's mind suddenly flared to life as part of her magic returned. Her mind had been empty temporarily, in which she had feared she was close to death. She gasped for breath, as though she had been submerged underwater for several minutes, even though she did not technically need to breath in her own mind. "What just happened?" asked Laura. She looked down at herself and noticed that she seemed to be slightly faded from existence, but not as much as before. Suddenly, Wollowitz materialized in front of her. He was faded as well and seemed exhausted. "Some of your magic has returned, but I do not think it is enough to escape," wheezed Wollowitz. After several painful coughs, he slowly faded from view. This was just getting more and more confusing.

Vitals were still dropping.
20%.
Daemon eyed the screen with an almost apprehensive gaze, it was a miracle that demon wasn't after him, but he supposed he had Ace's rescure party to thank for that.
Ace...
It had been a whole minute now that she had been gone, lost in the realm of subspace. Then, as if he were in commune with the universe a blinding flash of light, turned the surrounding area into a painful blazing splotch of white.
When his mechanical retenas re-adjusted, Ace was lying face-down on the ground, her eyes wide open and glazed over.
Without thought or hesitation, Daemon abandoned the computer station and ran to her.
((He left the magic draining. **sigh** Love makes you stupid...or at least forgetful.))

As Laura knelt down in her own mind, she slowly felt her strength returning. Magic was flowing more and more through her veins. Why was her magic returning now? Pondering that thought, Laura revelled in her magical power. Ever bit added to the ecstasy, the strength that drove her. A little more and she would be free; she could feel it.

I can't let you do that, Starfox.
The reason Ahtaremma was so quiet was that Emma regained conciousness.
Now she was the voice in the back of Ashtara's mind.
Get him before he hurts Ace. Emmma thought, not knowing what happened before that moment.
Ashtaremma snickered, a satanic voice.
Her nimble form leapt up in the air, grabbing Dameon and pressing him down with her knees before he could get to Ace, while her blue arm extended into a tendril and latched on to the can, trying to suck the magic out.
