Ashriel shrugged. "I didn't care if I got hurt. Your shoulder looked as if you would bleed out if it weren't wrapped right away, so I wrapped it." She told him simply. Her speech was believable - she'd revealed before that she didn't care much at all for her own well-being, only for that of others. "But I'm fine, anyway. I'm not hurt, now am I?"
Jennalin looked at the two, stepping back again. "I think I'll stay outta this one. In fact, I'd better get back to school before Lix decides she's gotta cut to find out if Ash is okay. See you two..." She wasn't about to mention the mega supply of rumors going around the school now between the absences yesterday morning and now today.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed. He could believe that. The girl had absolutely no self-preservation. "You are either the stupidest or the bravest girl I have ever met. I'm trying to decide where the line between them is....." He told Ashriel flatly. He barely noticed Jennalin leaving, only flicking his ears back to track her footsteps. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled lightly as she looked at him. "I thought they were the same thing." She stated, standing up now. "You ready to continue on our way?" Her voice was soft, yet energetic.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "The line is definitely very thin." Raevyn grumbled. He heaved himself to his paws with a wince. "I'm ready. I've just been waiting for you. I was ready awhile ago but you fell asleep." He stretched carefully then began walking, at a slightly faster pace than before. The rest had been good for him, letting the more minor wound heal until they were mostly gone. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned at Raevyn, walking along with him. They reached the apartment building relatively quickly at the new pace, being that they had been most of the way there before. She opened the door for Raevyn, walking up the stairs before feeling her pockets for the key. "Shoot...I forgot my key yesterday."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed as they came to the door. "I know." He said, amusement rippling through his voice. "I tried to give it back but you were ignoring me with whatever you were thinking." He shifted to human form, biting his lip to hold it long enough to dig out Ashriel's key and hand it to her. Then he flipped back to his jaguar form, leaning against the wall lightly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel blushed visibly as she remembered what she had been thinking about when she'd forgotten her key. Quietly, she took the key and unlocked the door, letting the two of them in. She closed it behind her, locking it. "So, now it is time to actually properly dress at least that shoulder."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn completely missed her blush, panting slightly from the effort of switching forms. He entered the apartment flopping down on the floor of the living room. He didn't want to get blood on the couch or the bed. He rolled his eyes at Ashriel. "It's fine as it is. You don't have to do anything. It's healing just fine." He was obviously feeling a bit better, arguing with her again and not just agreeing. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled at the argument. At least he was feeling a little better. "No, it at least needs to be disinfected and properly cleaned." She insisted, walking towards her bathroom to get the proper supplies.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Oh no you don't!" Raevyn's head shot up off the floor. "You are not pouring any disinfectant crap on me! That stuff hurt!" He looked around the apartment but it was sadly lacking in hiding places for a creature as big as he was. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grabbed the disinfectant and other necessary supplies, rolling her eyes. "And I suppose you'd rather it get infected? She question him as she walked out of the bathroom. Already, she knew that he had no where to hide. "The sooner you let me do this, the sooner it will be over with."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn hissed at her, his fur bristling. "I told you, were's don't get sick! That includes infection!" That wasn't necessarily true as they were just immune to viruses and such, but their wounds often healed too fast for infection to set in. "Don't you dare touch me with that stuff!" He scrambled backwards with a wince until he was right against the couch. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel pouted. "Well, at least let me put in a clean bandage!" She combated, her eyes looking like they were about to cry. Honestly, she felt bad for not being able to be of more help, and this was her way of compensating for that.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn, about to refuse, saw the look on her face. He sighed. Great. If he argued anymore, he was going to make her cry and he hated doing that. "....Fine...." He muttered in agreement, laying down on the floor again with a huff. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled, carefully peeling the bloodied bandage from Raevyn's shoulder. She set it aside, replacing it with a sterile, clean one. Once finished, she hugged him lightly before standing up and picking up the dirty bandage. She threw out the bandage before speaking to Raevyn. "Sorry that I couldn't help any more than that..." Her voice was quiet, revealing why she'd been so stubborn about the new bandage and everything. She felt guilty that she couldn't help him at all.
