Yoshiko pulled off her attack when the weapons from behind stopped like her shurikan. She landed on the ground and took a defensive battle position, only flinching a little when his hands moved. With the weapon moving around her opponent she listened to him speak. "Ninja baby?" Yoshiko whispered to herself. When the blades behind her started targetting her Yoshiko cracked her neck.

Yoshiko ran at the nearest opponent to her as the weapons came at her. Seconds before they would hit, Yoshiko looked back at the weapons and backflipped. Her legs spit apart and bent, as she twisted, curling her body forwards. She avoided the blades and landed on the ground finishing her backflip close to her opponent. Without a second delay Yoshiko swung her scythe upwards vertically.

Yoshiko's scythe was stopped when the weapons and defensive gear still swirling around Disc suddenly clanked together in a metallic heap that floated in mid-air in front of the Universal Listener like a shield. If she had peeked around the weapons, Yoshiko would have seen her copy dancing away seductively to some unknown tune. More than a few fighters paused in their fights to spectate the teasing doppelganger's moves. The shield then separated enough to the weapons to be redirected and fly at the ninja girl at point-blank-range.

Clay turned his head around to look back up at the knight when the distinctive "clang" of armor being hit didn't ring out in his ears. The knight now seemed to be floating in midair. There was no time to think at how that was possible at the moment as both the claymore that was on the ground suddenly flew up at him while the lightning Shin summoned also headed his way. Deciding to deal with the more immediate and dangerous threat of the fast approaching lightning bolt, Clay held the outer part of his right forearm out towards Shin and placed his left hand on the inside of his right forearm for support.

Holding his position while still falling toward the ground and the rising sword, Clay rapidly formed on the outer part of his right forearm a crude, thick shield of ice at an angle. Playing at the angle of deflection, Clay's shield deflected the lightning in a way that, with the angle, directed and arced itself toward the hovering knight. The strike of lightning on his ice shield pushed Clay a slight bit back as he continued his fall. The shift in midair was enough to avoid the brunt of the vertically rising claynore, but not enough. The sword clipped his left arm and he fell to his feet securely on the ground.

Clay could have sworn the hit would have severed his limb, but there wasn't even any blood, even though there was still moderate pain. He pushed the thought away as he lifted an arm in the air, directed at the knight, causing the spear that had whizzed past the knight to come back around towards the armored foe, splitting into 4 smaller, yet no less deadly spears that hurtled toward their target.

Shin watched as he blocked the lightning.Shin walked over to Clay he patted his shoulder in this form Shin could not talk much but he would try.Shin looked at him with a grin and pointed up at the knight "I do not like i fight him you get in way i won't hold back" he said.Shin looked up at the knight he did not like how he was getting in the way.Shin thought might as well take him out he held up both his hands at the knight making a fire ball then he threw it off at him.Shin had his tail holding his big sword still.

The knight took the lightning strike without flinching. The electricity hit the steel plated and radiated throughout without seeming to cause any damage to the wearer. The claymore that hit Clay continued upward and returned to the warrior as he or she flew to meet it in the air. Taking sword in hand just in time, the knight spun around to shatter all the smaller ice weapons coming. In his flight to avoid the spears, the armored fighter avoided Shin's fireball. All attacks neutralized, the seemingly invincible fighter dove towards the Demon and Ice wielder on the ground with claymore in both hands ready to strike. Getting within striking distance at shocking speed, the knight brought the sword around in a speedy arc that would cleave the 2 opponents on the ground in half if they remained where they were.

(two doubters saying I can't handle more than 1?.....tsk tsk 4laugh twisted )

Dimitri inwardly smiled when Damian came to sit over by her but simply nodded at him. She held out a candy in the palm of her hand, offering it to Damian. "You can have it if you want but you don't have to. It's grape by the way. That's my favorite." Dimitri watched the fight also. Clay had an ice ability. There was a person like that in the circus she was in. The knight looked like he had a range of abilities. How odd.

Rose rolled her eyes and thought back, If anything happens I'm sure as hell not staying up here, I'm going down there and it's not like you'll be able to stop me. Rose looked to the side slightly when she thought she saw a flicker of movement from behind her a little distance away, almost like it was a person watching her, but she wasn't sure so she shook it off.

Even though she had been distracted slightly when she thought she had seen someone, she was still connected Dark's mind a little and she heard him say something about not looking like someone was a good guy. So there is someone down there, she said to him. Someone who's bad you think? Hm, yeah, well, I'm definitly coming down there now. she said with a smile, and even though he wouldn't be able to see it, she was pretty sure that he would here the smile in her voice.

Rose went into the hole, pulling out her dagger as she did so. She walked in the dimly lit tunnels at a fairly quick pace, her nose being assulted by the smell of damp earth the whole way. I really hope that I don't come to any places where I have to choose which direction I have to go. I won't be able to find you then, she said as she continued to walk on, her steps making a light echo throughout the tunnel.

Clay didn't face Shin when he came up from behind and spoke in his oh-so-eloquent way. The very idea of having the demon fight with him sent shivers up Clay's spine. "That's really nice and all Shin, but...This is my opponent." The sight of the lightning striking the knight with no apparent effect worried Clay. The fact that someone or something could resist an attack like that without so much as twitching was fearsome indeed. How is that possible? That knight should have at LEAST felt some kind of burn... Unless... A thought came to Clay. He wasn't sure, but he'd find out.

As the armored fighter came down swinging at both him and Shin, Clay created a surface of ice at his feet, slipping and sliding feet first under the knight just as the claymore had been coming at him, not really worried about what happened to the hell spawn. Using the momentum of sliding on the ice Clay then formed a small mound of ice, on which he pressed his feet to, bending his legs, and shot back toward the attacker. Clenching his fist tight and forming a sharp, dense and long spike that protruded from just above his wrist, Clay launched a deadly punch straight at where the back of the knight's neck would be under the armor.

When her scythe was blocked Yoshiko never really noticed her copy dancing off somewhere else. Yoshiko took a step backwards and glanced at her shurikan floating there with no purpous but to be there. With her copy wondering off dancing to some tune, Yoshiko felt irritable watching it.

Yoshiko looked back at Disc just as the shield started to separate. She let go of her scythe and ran backwards to the right dodging to the best of her ability to avoid any damage from the weapons that attacked her. Her left arm, torso, and her leg was injured, but not that seriously. After the attack Yoshiko extended her left hand and the scythe quickly spun around as it launched at Disc also point blank range.

Whether or not Shin would be dealt a blow, the knight would continue through with the sword swing and fly back into the air. However, before the knight took to the air again, Clay's attacked stabbed through the space between the helmet and back plate that was only guarded by chainmail. The ice spike popped out the front to appear as if it had gone through the wearer's neck. Before Clay could retract the spike, the knight's forward upward movement caused the ice weapon to be violently ripped from the neck of the armored warrior. The abruptness of it all actually took the helmet clean off the warrior to suggest a decapitation.

The headless warrior's body continued skyward before it stopped abruptly and turned around in mid-air as if to look back town at Clay...to reveal an empty suit of armor. The helmet floated up to the knight who took it and placed it back on top of its shoulders. The fight was only just beginning. Throwing its sword at Clay again, the armor pursued it's blade and spun around a few times with its legs leading as if it intended to land a colossal aerial kick at the same time its blade would hit Clay if he stayed in place.

(-Novama strikes an innocent pose- depends how good you are User Image FYI: Disc and the Yoshiko copy are one in the same if you didn't get that from my descriptions. He has assumed her form.)

The free arm of Disc's that wasn't manipulating the weapons targeting Yoshiko went up to stopped Yoshiko's scythe in mid-air. It was then that the Yoshiko copy, aka Disc, leaped and spiraled into the air. Legs and arms spiraled and twirled in a freestyle aerial dance as the doppelganger defied gravity for a brief moment before falling back to earth. However, before Disc fell too far a buster sword pulled from the arena sands flew to catch him. Riding the sword like a surf board, the universal listener zoomed towards Yoshiko as if to drive the blade through her chest where she stood.

Clay was no longer surprised, seeing the helmet come off the armor to reveal it empty. He'd supposed something like that when his hits upon the armor had met with less than average resistance than they should have, not to mention the fact that the armor was able to move around so effortlessly. The dead giveaway, though, was the lightning. Anything inside would have, if not burned, at least twitched and contorted due to the massive amount of electricity that would be coursing through the body. A small smirk formed on Clay's face at having been assuming correctly.

When the knight once again launched his claymore at Clay, only to follow close behind, the ice master decided to close the distance and bring the fight to his lifeless, animate foe. Lifting a hand toward his own sword, Clay's icy weapon flew back to it's wielder upon command instantly. With a swinging arc for momentum, Clay flung his own sword in the air on an intercept pattern with the diving claymore, causing both weapons to be knocked off course when they came into contact with each other. With no time at all wasted after having thrown his weapon, Clay summoned a column, much like the one he'd used to enter the arena, at his feet that shot him up into the air with great speed on an intercept pattern with the armor itself. Flying straight at his opponent, Clay clenched his fist once again, using no icy covering this time for protection, and reeled back, shooting it forward full-force to clash with the armor's oncoming kick.

(Alfonse is a good comparison, but there is more to this armor than simple animation. I don't like copying popular stuff, so you won't find a blood seal on this tin can 4laugh . You'll see what I'm talking about if you don't figure it out first.)

As if it has a life of its own, the blade quickly rebounded from being knocked off course to head towards Clay again.

Meanwhile, the suit of armor's leg collided with the ice wielder with incredible force behind it. However, the suit of armor detached from its leg that maintained force against Clay's counter and sped forward with its remaining leg forward to go for another punishing kick towards Clay's chest.

Clay had a feeling that the armor's sword would come back at him, but with the second kick coming toward him, he wouldn't be able to direct his sword back to bounce it away a second time. Instead, priming his left hand, without having created anything at the moment, seeing as how his right fist was still in a struggle with the armor's detached foot, Clay closed in on the armor and actually took the kick in the chest, which, from it's unbelievable force, pushed him out of the way of the claymore that shot past just as he was kicked away in midair.

The pain in his chest was great, the wind having been nearly knocked completely out of his lungs, as Clay had not managed to defend himself, but as he fell, Clay's left hand, having been preparing, launched a large net of ice at the armor, hoping to catch it and pull it down with him in his free fall. Clay's right hand, having been freed from it's reverse tug-of-war battle with the detached leg, directed his icy sword to stand between the armor and it's sword, ready to knock it away once again in case the knight decided to call it back.

((The only guess I can venture is that it's a puppet, being controlled by someone somewhere else. An animate armor would move, but not fly. And if it was simply animate, the sword wouldn't be able to return as it does. So, it just reminded me of a puppet, along with it's weapon, on strings.))

Shin bent down under the attack and sat down on the floor just watch Clay fight. He yawned as he tail moved back and forht. This one and only time he would not fight only because what Clay said was true.A man must fight his own enemy and Clay wanted to fight alone so Shin would let him.Shin stabbed his sword into the ground as he watched them fight his mind was going back to being himself again. He became less of a demon his horns went back inside of his head his skin still jet black.Shin was able to talk right now instead of like he was a little kid."Now now Clay you can't tell me your loseing to this piece of metal" he said.Shin did not really hate Clay he thought he was a great fighter who should have taken out this kngiht already.Shin was just this way with everyone he first met he never trusts anyone just based on his past.

(Good guess. 1 more post before your battle ends and you can do whatever like the rest.)

The armor didn't resist the net and crumpled to the ground in a heap, lifeless and unmoving. It was then that Clay would be able to hear clapping coming from his right. Illuminated by the flames in the arena and fireworks overhead, a shriveled old man stood applauding with a smile on his face.
"Good job, sonny. Quite clever indeed. I wanted to show myself as a reward for your well fought performance. However, this old man has more for you to weather. Young'ins now-a-days don't appreciate what is just handed to them after all," the old man said in a raspy face just audible over the din of the arena. His words over, the old man started moving his hands with unnatural speed and dexterity for one of his age. Rising into the air on a shield that was in the sand beneath his feet, the old man continued to move his hands as dozens of weapons, defensive equipment, and even a handful of fighters rose into the air with the him. With a sense of finality to it, the man moved his hands forward and unleashed a shower of steel and death upon Clay.

Clay was actually glad that Shin hadn't interfered on his match any more than he already had and decided that, in thanks, he would respond back as he continued to fall. "Course not, Shin." While plummeting, Clay created a moderately thick slab of ice that pressed to his back, only to have it extend into a slide that lowered Clay safely down to the ground and on his feet. The pain in his chest was overwhelming him, though, and Clay saw himself forced to press his left hand to where the kick had landed in an attempt to alleviate the pain.

Now on the ground, Clay turned to see his opponent lying lifeless on the ground and an elderly person come up from the right. Clay wasn't sure the match was over, so, as a precaution, he put everything he had left into his right hand in case anything... Unwanted should appear. Clay was reasonably sure that anything he did wouldn't kill the man. As if on cue, the old man had raised a large assortment of metal items, and even some other fighters, into the air and flung them at Clay with deadly intent. Silently thanking his teacher for always telling him to be prepared, Clay smirked.

Having alloted all of the magic he could muster beforehand, Clay lifted his right hand, palm open, toward everything coming at him. Immediately, an enormously large, icy hand, palm open, just like Clay's, shot out of the ground to serve as a defense against every single item the old man had summoned. With a clench of his fist, the icy hand did the same, closing shut and crushing everything it held. Creating something that large left Clay truly spent and he fell to a knee, but he didn't pass out. He was wasted. "I assure you, sir..." By now he was panting, out of breath. "I'll take what you've 'handed' me to heart." With a tired smirk and a grin, Clay then directed his speech at Shin without turning to face him. "See, Shin? Just... Playing up the drama a bit..."

((I had something else planned, but... I couldn't resist the pun. xd ))

Confused as hell Harry stumbled out of the arena. No idea how Gofander had blocked that attack but going to let it go. One small WAS enchanter tried to attack him but he took him out with small wave. A rope of magic wrapped around his throat and jerked him away and towards the other side of the arena. He stumbled away and tried to decide which pub he would be attending.
