((I'm not at all like Shin. Other than being mentally clumbsy. That part I totally am. I am directionally impared, as well. ;D; Which Shin (luckily) is not. And he's too nice/calm to be the spazztic me. xD;;; ))
Shin followed more carefully behind the boy, making sure that he wouldn't accidentally get cut or something. He always had to be careful - so much to the point that it was now engraved in his nature. He wasn't exactly paranoid - although he could be at time - just... cautious. As he reached the other, he rested a light hand on the other's shoulder and glanced at him for a second, a peaceful smile on his lips, before his gaze shifted to the gleaming water.

Peering at the family of little ducks, Haro frowned slightly, looking up at Shin with a questioning gaze. "Does...does she take care of them forever?" He asked, not exactly implying what he was talking about, but he was murmuring about the mother duck. "I just-" He lowered his golden flecked eyes back towards the water. His mother had left him, or so he assumed.

"Mmm... I don't think so..." Shin murmured, frowning. He didn't know much about ducks - or birds in general. "I think... I think the mother takes care of them until they're older... and then they both go their separate ways.... It's mutual, I suppose..." He looked slightly perplexed and then gave the other a small shrug.

Haro's expression softened slightly, "Oh." Maybe...maybe he just couldn't remember his mom and she had left because...that was what mothers did, or at least bird mothers. Haro didn't know why she couldn't have kept him as a baby though, someone in his family had to be like him...like this. "I'm not very old," he murmured softly, almost wistfully as he watched the ducks circle around a patch of reeds before swimming out of view amongst some foliage,

Shin paused a moment and then, thinking it the best way to try and comfort the other - for he seemed to need at least a little care - he wrapped his arm around the other's shoulder. "Well... neither are other birds when they separate from their mothers... But most birds don't have the memory to really... think over that - because they're not like us," he murmured. He felt a little bad about not being able to help the other with words. He wasn't used to being around others all the time, let alone consoling them in their time of need. It was... difficult.

Haro looked up, searching for light eyes he had grown comfortabley familiar with. "I guess she just didn't want me," he murmured with a sad smile, goldeny amber eyes scrunched up lightly. But it was okay... He hadn't needed someone to take care of him when he was kept as a bird, besides his owner of course. The problems had started when Wei would coax him into other forms, but that was another story for another time... He really didn't want to be sad right now. Placing hands against the older teen's arm, Haro leaned up onto his toes, pressing a more lasting kiss to the tiger's lips than he was prone to doing.
"I don't...mind though, I wouldn't have met you."

Shin was about to argue... to press the point that it was simply animalistic nature... but Haro's next words stopped him and he smiled slightly inspite of himself. "Well... I suppose we should be happy then... I know it's selfish of me to feel glad that you were seperated from your mother... But I really am very happy that I met you... and glad that we're together..." A slight pink tinge touched his pale cheeks, contrasting with the bright blue of his eyes. He wasn't really sure of how to word what he wanted to say without sounding like an idiot or a jerk... but he thought he had done an alright job of it.
((I started writing this and then kinda... spaced off for a couple minutes and then couldn't get back into it... xD;;; I remember I was going to write something else... but I can't remember what. x3;;; ))

[[I was debating whether or not to write this, because it's already pretty late here...and being sick and all...staying up even longer is not the best idea. Oh well. 8D]]
That made him feel good.
Turning around to give the lean tiger a hug, Haro tucked his face against Shin's neck, partly because he was cold, but mostly because Shin smellled nice. "It doesn't matter. I don't remember her anyway," he murmured, shivering slightly in the cold air. He swore it was colder here than it had been in the city. Haro didn't know why but he figured it could be because of the water...in any case it made for a colder atmosphere.
"Brrbrr~" Nuzzling his nose against Shin's neck, Haro chirped, "Can we go back-" To your place? To your house? Some place warm? Some place safe? "...b-back...home?"

[[I keep forgetting about 'im. x__x; Mnn, sorry]]
"Deal."
Shaking the younger man's hand with a slightly perturbed expression, Wei soon leafed through his pockets, quickly pulling out his wallet. Picking out a slip of paper from the pocket where bills should've been, the dark man handed the ripped piece to Benji. "It's the address, incase you need it," he murmured, watching with a bored expression as orange eyes scanned the writing.
"'S, near," he mumbled, mostly to himself before pocketing the information. Looking up, the bird grinned widely. "I'll get it done when there's a slack in my shifts. Where do you want him, here?" He suggested, watching the other's blank expression darken.
"Here's great. Put him in a small cage if you can get him to change," the snake said with a smirk before straightening up. "Just call me, house or cell, I don't care," he added, heading towards the door, waving before he exited. The kid made this too easy for him... There was no way this could be stopped. Wei knew Haro too well. He knew he'd resist to the very end but when push comes to shove you could get him to do anything with the proper leverage.
And with that thought, the green-eyed snake headed home in a much better mood than when he had left.

((Sorry for not being on earlier. Today was my brother's birthday plus my five-hour skating day plus one of the days I spent working on my English project. xD;;;; ))
"Sure," he murmured softly into the other's ear, smiling. 'Home'.... Haro had called his house 'home.' That... made Shin quite unbeleivably happy. He gave the other a soft kiss on the cheek before straightening up and wrapping his arm back around the other's shoulder. "Do you need an extra jacket?" he asked before beginning to walk back along the path towards home. Shin could take the cold and haro couldn't... He wouldn't mind giving the other his jacket for the few minutes it took to reach home.

Feeling quite an exceptional sense of de ja vu, the boy slumpt down against the wall, sighing. His breath rose in a white fog in front of him and he stared at it for a moment before he straightened up and took his violin and bow from their case. His fingers were clubsier than usual, numbed by cold, but he could still play and the motion warmed them. He felt peaceful when he played... and the song was peaceful... not slow or dreamy, but calming and... nice.

Haro shook his head quickly, hair swishing from side to side before settling in disarray around his face. "N-nm, no... I'm okay," he murmured with flushed features. He was fully aware that the cold probably didn't affect Shin nearly as bad as it did for himself, but he still didn't want to take any chances. He wouldn't get sick from being a little cold, besides they'd be warm soon enough. It didn't take that long to get to Shin's house, ne? With a glance to the muddled sky, Haro smiled, no...it wasn't far. He'd be fine.
But-... Shin, his- Eyeing the tiger's bandaged hands, the small teen frowned gently, wriggling from the other's grasp before taking one- Gah, his hand was freezing! Careful not to ruin any of the carefully set gauze, Haro stuffed, as discreetly as he could manage, the tiger's hand under his sweatshirt to keep him warm, golden eyes set dead forward.

((xD;;;; ))
Shin looked surprised, but decided not to comment. It was obvious that Haro was trying to keep him warm. It was cute... and weird, but mostly cute. He smiled, resisting the temptation to shake his head - Haro might think he was implying he didn't need the care - and set off towards home. He made sure to take the shortst way home, because even he was beginning to feel the cold. They reached his house after a few minutes' walk, Shin fumbling with cold-numbed hands for the key. And they were inside at last, Shin sighing happily as the warm air reached them. He closed the door and locked it after Haro entered. "So... what do you say to some hot chocolate?" he asked, smiling. "It should be good to warm us up."

[[He does the weirdest things. uwu;; I'm just glad he's not this weird around Wei. I can picture Shin being like, "O___o; Uh-...prtjoktqwt546." x3]]
'What do say to-' The boy's mind began to wander after that, golden eyes drifting off to some far corner of the room. What...did he say? How about you...and me? And forever? And lots of kisses? And maybe some bears? And-... The boy's eyes widened as he turned to Shin, his cheeks (already a rosy color from the cold) darkening to a shade that rivaled his hair. Hands clasped together, the boy answered with an enthusiastic, "I-...I do- Uhm... Yes!"
Maybe his subconcious heard exactly what Shin had said because...well, Haro couldn't really explain but he figured he hadn't said what he thought. He was grateful that he started listening again before Shin finished the thought. Amber eyes lit up at the prospect of chocolate...and not just any chocolate...it was the hot kind. "Err- I...yes, I would like some," he murmured before bounding off towards the kitchen.
[[I love him, I reallyreallyreally do.]]

((xD Awwww.))
"Alright, then," he murmured, smiling. It sounded almost as if Haro had just accepted a proposal of marriage - what with the "I do" and everything. He gave the other a quick kiss before walking to the kitchen and searching for ingidiants. He knew he had some cocoa mix somewhere... He found it, as well as the other things needed - milk, cinnamon... and some other ingridiants that just made coacoa much better than just from the mix. He set the milk to heat in the sauce pan, stirring it carefully to make sure it didn't burn, and waited. Heating milk didn't take very long. "Haro... would you mind getting two mugs from the cupboard?" he asked, indicating the one that specifically held mugs and cups. He removed the milk from the heat and began to mix in the other ingridiants. By the time the boy had gotten the mugs, the coacoa was ready and he poured the sweet-smelling drink in equal amounts into each mug.
