Kal glanced up to where he knew Sylmeria was and followed her aim to see who it was aimed at. He then searched for a second enemy to set himself up in the darkness. He slipped through the darkness to standing behind another enemy. He placed his hand on his shortsword, ready to strike at this enemy. His strike would signal the battle to begin, which would start the blinding light and the death of hopefully two enemies.
Thorifin was no help here far as stealth was concerned, and he knew that. He set himself up in the middle of the room and began praying to Murgoth for the power of light to see and light to blind his enemy's. ((Preparing to activate his necklace.)) He also tightened his grip on his Warhammer and Large Shield.

Tjaden kept as far behind any large outcropping as he could manage. It was like a water-buffalo hiding behind a sapling, but apparently the Dark Elves were too concerned with other matters to notice the hulking brute of a Knight. Tjaden offered up a silent prayer to Balpheron and the Ancestors before he began playing his starting move out in his head. As soon as the Dark Elves reacted to incoming fire, Tjaden would drive himself at them in a head long charge, hoping to force them to focus on him and letting the darker elements of their group have at the fiends with equal parts ferocity and subterfuge.
Whenever you are ready, my companions. Tjaden thought as if they could hear him.

Kal swiftly took his first strike at the enemy with his shortsword, aiming at the middle of the opponents back for a thourough pierce. He severly hoped this fanned out as it played out in his head. He would strike the enemy, the enemy would make some pained sound, and that would signal the others... in theory, it seemed perfect.

Thorifin heard the noises and closed his eyes as he lit the area up in a bright light to blind the enemy's and give his ally's thier full sight.
Kal twisted his shortsword in the enemy's back and attempted to slice through the left side to cut vital muscles, organs, and tendons.

Selce averted her eyes from the light that would come from Thorfin's spell and cast her own spell, Flame Arrow, at one of the currently unharmed Dark Elves.

Round Two! Thorifin's sudden blast of light causes all of the dark elves to be stunned temporarily. One elf however seems to be a sorceress, she begins chanting rapidly.

Kal and Brurag take minor damage. Selce's Flame Arrow misses the mark. 5-11 Success: The Elves are stunned temporarily. Thorifin could hear the mumbles coming from the sorceress elf. So, he decided to pull one of his darker spells. He cast Impending Doom on her, wanting her to give up on the spells and make it easier on the less magical orcs to bash thier way to the door.
Kal moved through the shadows, attempting to scan the area for all the enemies in the vicinity. He saw the sorceress, the two elves Brurag and Tjaden were fighting, and the elf pinned to the wall. He moved towards the sorceress, knowing the one pinned to the wall could be taken out by anyone and was most likely the target of Sylmeria's next arrow..
((Tonas: Is that all of them in this room? And is Sylmeria going to finish off the guy trapped to the wall?))

((There are seven in total, including the one you just killed. So: One dead. One Pinned. One Sorceress. Two Stunned. Three others. Additionally, keep in mind that this isn't a room with a "door" as you said. All you know at the moment is that its a cavern with multiple ridges and ravines. As for Sylmeria, yes.))
Round Two Continues!
1 Fail: Sylmeria misses her shot to finish off the weakened dark elf. He quickly tears the arrow loose and rejoins the fight. The sorceress resists Thorifin's spell and finishes her cast! Summon Lesser Elemental is cast! A being of pure fire erupts from the rift! 2-5 Success: Sylmeria's attack kills the trapped elf. The sorceress resists Thorifin's spell and finishes her cast! Summon Lesser Elemental is cast! A being of pure fire erupts from the rift! 6 Critical Success: The targetted elf is killed by Sylmeria. The sorceress' cast is disrupted by Thorifin and she grasps her head in pain as images of pure horror wrack her mind.
Results: Sylmeria's attack kills the trapped elf. The sorceress resists Thorifin's spell and finishes her cast! Summon Lesser Elemental is cast! A being of pure fire erupts from the rift!

Tjaden's grip on his sword tightened. With a mighty leap, he was in the open and propelling himself towards the spell caster. He hoped to use the confusion to mask his approach and set upon the magic-user before anyone realized he was there. Using the Sailing Serpent Technique, Tjaden charged in at the sorceress, aiming a strike at her chest.

((Okay, thank you. and will do.
Would a Lesser Elemental count as a lesser demon for the spell Protection from Evil))
Thorifin cast Bless quickly, seeing most of the party going into close combat battle. He felt his Warhammer in his grasp, his eyes settled on the summoned creature.
Kal slipped behind the sorceress and aimed his shortsword's thrust at her upper left back, approximately where the heart is. He was curious about the summoned creature in only one facet. He had heard of creature's that were summoned and bound to their master, such that, if the caster was killed, the summoned being died as well. However, he'd also heard of independent beings, which once they were summoned, were there til' you kill them specifically.

Light.. What an odd occurrence. The darkling children do not use it which means..
Calanon awoke from his trance. The lichen that covered his body already began to die without his encouragement. He ran over to all of the commotion and as he closed in on the light, he began to hear the screams. It sounded mostly like his own misguided kin which could be bad or good for him. Rounding the last corner, he finally saw the battle. Two Dark Elves dead, two moving blindly, a sorceress with her elemental companion, and two more planning an ambush while the other fighters focused on the sorceress. He did not care for one group more than the other, but in this situation, he decided it would be best to tilt things in his favor. He sat in a trance and began casting Dispel Magic upon the elemental. If he could get rid of the distraction, perhaps he would not have to fight his way out of this situation. If he could cut the magical chains that kept the elemental in this dimension, things would go much better for the strange invaders.

((You'd need Planar Protection in order to not be targeted by elementals. Protection from Evil helps when summoning said creatures, but doesn't prevent them from attacking you afterwards. Also, summoned creatures do remain around until destroyed or their duration ends.))
All friendly units are buffed with Bless. The Lesser Fire Elemental bars the orc's path to the sorceress. The sorceress unleashes a hidden trinket.
1 Critical Fail - The Fire Elemental protects its master by lashing out at Tjaden, dealing minor damage (high armor/resistance). The sorceress unleashes a wave of heat in all directions! Knocking back and searing Kal and Tjaden for moderate damage. 2-4 Fail - The Fire Elemental rushes to the aid of its master, lashing out at Tjaden, though the orc skillfully deflects the attack with his blade. The sorceress unleashes a wave of heat, knocking back and searing Kal and Tjaden for moderate damage. 5-9 Success The Fire Elemental rushes to the aid of its master, only able to block Tjaden's incoming attack. Kal interrupts the sorceress' cast but is unable to damage her due to her swift reaction. 10 Critical Success The Elemental hisses as Tjaden's blade sinks into its molten flesh, moderate damage dealt. Kal's strike pierces the sorceress for a critical hit! Dealing heavy damage!

((Unfortunately not. Dispel Magic primarily is used to remove buffs and debuffs from units. It can be used to dispel illusions as well, but the complex energies needed to banish an elemental are beyond the capabilities of that lower end spell. Also, everyone, meet the newest member of the team: Calanon, druid.))
Round Three! The two unhindered Dark Elves now make their move, splitting apart in different directions, both now threatening to attack their surface cousins. The other two facing the orcs have recovered and begun to counterattack!

The Sorceress and the Elemental: Deal Moderate damage to Kal, in a sudden wave of heat, pinning him to the wall. The Dark Elf after Sylmeria and Erron: Moderate damage dealt to Sylmeria as he forces her out of her defensive position. Dark Elf targeting Calanon: Deals minor damage as he leaps into the alcove where he is hidden. 5-10 Fail - Those Recovered from the Light: Deal Heavy damage to Brurag in a coordinated attack, taking advantage of Tjaden's change of target. The Sorceress and the Elemental: Deal minor damage to Kal, in a sudden wave of heat, pinning him to the wall. Dark Elf targeting Calanon: Is blocked by the surface elf's preparation. 11-19 Success -Those Recovered from the Light: Deal Moderate damage to Brurag in a coordinated attack, taking advantage of Tjaden's change of target. The Sorceress and the Elemental: Deal Minor damage to Kal, in a sudden wave of heat, he remains mobile. The Dark Elf after Sylmeria and Erron: Minor damage dealt to Sylmeria as he forces her out of her defensive position. Dark Elf targeting Calanon: Is put off balance and weakened by his unorthodox landing. 20 Critical Success - Those Recovered from the Light: Deal minor damage to Brurag in a coordinated attack, taking advantage of Tjaden's change of target. The Dark Elf after Sylmeria and Erron: No damage is dealt, Sylmeria intercepts the incoming elf with an arrow through the skull, instant kill. Dark Elf targeting Calanon: Trips and falls on his face, taking minor damage.
