The doors outside the medical lab all seemed to be sealed or opened to rooms completely devoid of light. Likewise several moments after he left the medical lab a second door shut itself and the lights started going out one by one for the hall. The wooden doors didn't seem too sturdy along the hallway so they likely could be broken open. There were differences at the doors for each end of the short hallway, one was metal, looking almost like a vault door, the other was of a sliding design instead of the other doors which opened in such as the med lab.
Lina tilted her head to the side as her eyepiece flickered on for a moment giving several error messages before shutting down. She did an about face and walked back inside then sat down on the stairs to wait just above the door back from the Rai dojo to her little hideaway. Deciding she'd give him a bit of a chance on getting out. Her head thought for a few moments before shrugging, most likely Dalcon was the one getting out anyway, after all anything else still alive and captured probably wasn't going to use the hallways to escape.
Her mind wandered back to her other problem for a brief moment. She didn't want to come off as rude to Jin given everything that had just happened, but it seemed she had two problems of her own coming back to bite her, Dalcon she wasn't sure about yet, but the other... It would wait on her to either react in a way to confirm she knew it was there, or bide it's time while it thought she didn't notice it... then it would come around to exploit any weakness she showed in dealing with this problem, but she didn't want that fight to break out if Jin or anyone she cared about was nearby. Her head was beginning to hurt as a few different perspectives came around at the same time.

(( Repetition of OOC dialogue from the Kaze Dojo:
-hugs computer- My interwebs finally work again! Damn you, AOL! Damn you! >_< ))
Jin's eyes seem to go unfocused for a moment. Then he looks in the direction of Lina and follows after her. He looks serious. More serious than what is typical of Jin.
"Sommat be happenin' at Kaze. Nekojiri, Ishira, 'n one tha' smells o' both people be there. Sommat else, but Ah'm nah familiar wit' tha' one. 'N, there's what be happenin' in yer dojo. Ah feel me classmate stirrin'."
The dragon's hand goes to his side and attempts to grip something. His left hand pats his bare chest. That's when he grimaces.
"Me sword, 'n me armor. Left 'em in yer city. Ah can sort o' teleport 'em usin' kaze, but nah if tha' place be as air tight as ya said it were."

"If you're leaving for Kaze to help I'll break the air seal, but I wouldn't put it past Dalcon to figure out a way to escape with that opening. Here maybe this will work"
She grabbed one of the thick iron balusters from the railing of the stairs with her right hand. A few sparks of electricity at either end and it pulled loose. She ran her left hand along the length of the column for a moment. This time it was flashier as the electricity was arcing along the metal as it shaped the blade in a way similar to Jin's sword. It was different and reflected that as small details which weren't quite as refined, while others seemed to put a bit of an artistic side to the makeshift weapon in the form of a partially finished design on the blade that given the slightly incomplete nature seemed like she hadn't even thought about the little detail. She had focused more on making the balance right, but the edge wasn't sharp enough to do more then give it the right feel for it's wind resistance.

Dalcon wanders for a few moments, growling softly at the fact that he doesn't have a damn clue where he is. Then it hits him. He looks around, finding a spot with lots of metal around. He looks up and concentrates, the green rai crackling off of his body, slowly building and amassing on itself until nearly the entire end of the hallway was filled with the energy.

(( Doesn't help that my computer is obsolete. It was the cheapest Compaq Presario PC that Best Buy had at the time, and this was a few years ago. ))
Jin watches with interest as she forms the blade. That's a handy tecnnique. Yes, he's decided. After he's gotten pretty deep into Kaze, he'll give Rai a shot. Considering his fighting style and blood, it would probably suit him. Wouldn't hurt to have a weapon at hand with a simple piece of iron a little spark, too.
The dragon takes the blade from Lina with a respectful bow and examines it. True to her focus, it's well-balanced. Maybe not quite to his standards, but close enough. He tests the edge with a thumb. Not sharp, but it doesn't necessarily need to be sharp. With a little bit of ki and a lot of strength, it will cut all the same. And this way, it hurts a lot more. It can even be a non-lethal defense weapon this way. This all depends on how he wields the weapon.
Smiling, Jin crouches down and wraps his free arm around Lina to give her a warm hug and a kiss on her forehead.
"It be a good weapon. 'N on'y if Iri calls will Ah leave. Fer now, Ah'll be stayin' here."
Jin stays where he is, crouched and one arm draped across Lina's shoulders and watching too see if Dalcon makes his way out. He moves his arm and the sword so it stays out of view, somewhat behind Lina and himself. Jin has no plans to use it on Dalcon. With intruders in the Academy, he's got other things to worry about.
It's at this point that Jin's hair starts to stand on end. He can feel something charging in the air. It's not close, but has enough volume that his training in Kaze allows him to pick up on it. The spies can monitor things like a charge in static electricity. But this is a hell of a lot more than static.
"Eh, sweetie? Ya be noticin' sommat?"

Dalcon would find the floor seemed to be the only exposed metal, but his charge would show the hallway seemed to be made out of something similar in design to a freight cargo container underneath all the wall-paneling and design elements. He would find two other such containers connected, the one he was in, another in-between the both forming a cross in design. There was no feeling of any of the rooms connected however there was a strange mirror effect from two doors, both in the middle hall.
She smiled a bit at Jin's affection. Feeling a bit warm inside and allowing herself to keep the feeling for the time being. She couldn't let her emotions control her once the fighting started, but right now it felt good. "There are two things I'm sensing right now, can't say what to think. " she said, her voice slightly off, but her tone returned to normal as she continued "The blade probably will work for you, but once he escapes though you'll be able to pull your gear out whenever you have an opening. Shouldn't be too long now"
Lina tilted her head to the side as something flickered over her eye for an instant, seeming like some kind of error message. "Hmm, now how will this turn out"

Dalcon closes his eyes, concentrating and focusing the surprising amount of power surging around him. He channels it in a column, a bit bigger around than he is, and extends it upwards, aiming to melt or burn through the ceiling and propel himself upwards, out of the facility.

The wood paneling that covered the ceiling and walls was cracked very easily. Several water pipes in a crawlspace above the ceiling burst upon Dalcon's intrusion, but the rapid hiss and the sudden fact that the water was reversing direction, being pulled out through Dalcon's opening would likely send warning signs to the boy.
Lina tilted her head as the boy played a different game then her concept of the rat trapped in the maze after the next error message came up. It seemed the boy hadn't noticed he wasn't technically in the Rai dojo. "Jin... Just hypothetically speaking here, but I don't suppose you'd be wanting to practice catching someone out in that vacuum would you? I'd like to handle his capture like Ninja, but it seems he might be ending my fun too soon."

"Vacuum?" Jin looks perplexed for a moment. Then his mouths forms an "o" as he realizes what she means. "Ah get ya. Nah tha' yer hallways 'n rooms be under er even really in the dojo. They be somewhere else altogether. Sort o'. Tha's why yer rooms be air tight. 'N Dalcon must o' jus' made a bit o' a miscalculation wit' tha' blast o' energy."
Jin stands up and carefully tucks the sword into his belt up to the hilt. Then brings his hands up and cups them right at his sternum. His eyes close and he takes allows himself a long, deep, calming sigh. One of the techniques he has yet to learn is the creation of a vacuum. Instead, Iri has prepared him for that by teaching him how to exist within a vacuum, as he won't always have the choice of being outside of his own techniques. For it to work right, Iri has said, one must sometimes hold the enemy in place within the vacuum. Energy pools in Jin's hands, and with it he attracts the air. Something akin to an air spy or an air bomb is forming and condensing. When Jin has taken in as much as he possible can, a layer of energy encases it and seals the air. With a dismissive gesture, the orb moves to hover next to his shoulder. Then he works on forming a second one.
"Ne'er trained fer this. Nah yet, anyhow, but Ah have had lessons. Jus' gimme directions 'n Ah'm ready ta go."
Jin doesn't stop working as he speaks. Neither does he open his eyes. He's still communicating, but most of his attention is now on the work at hand. Jin's teacher seems to have a remarkable talent for splitting up her attention and holding several techniques at once. Jin isn't even sure of how much she handles at once, day in and day out, even while she's sleeping. He imagines it must put a great amount of strain on her mind, body, and energy, but she handles it well. The dragon, however, hasn't conditioned himself like she has. To hold more than a few air bombs at once, to use other techniques while in his air form, or to fight and keep objects in air storage is still a challenge for him. But he's learning fast. That much is evident in what he's doing now. Four orbs of air and energy are now hovering around him.

Dalcon doesn't notice which way the water is flowing, he's too focused on making his escape. He takes a deep breath and flies through the hole, pulling himself through with the rai, into whatever is on the other side.

"Hmm, ya got it in one, and yeah I don't think he's going to care that much... but this... It'll be interesting... just try to pull whatever air you'll need for techniques with you." Lina flipped over the rail, kicking the door which was releasing it's locks before she moved. There would be a slow rush of Air as the door opened, air escaping at a slower pace through the door then through the hole. Something like a bubble was in the door, but Lina passed through it without noticing. Her hand reaching to a fire hose box and pulling out one of the small breathing masks.
"No no No! He's still going!" she yelled back. There was still air in the hall as another one of the strange bubble walls tried to form around Dalcon's exit. She closed the door to the wing Dalcon's escape route was in, sliding open one of the doors in the middle hallway, magnetizing herself to the ground and blocking the door with her body just in case Jin wasn't prepared as more Air rushed out. She glanced up at the pillar Dalcon seemed to be making then back at Jin to make sure he was alright.
There was a platform attached just outside the door, about as wide as the hallway and running the length of the hall Dalcon had been in. Unlike what one would expect of something in normal space the outside looked like a storm, black spiraling around at most half a mile out, but it seemed completely white beyond that. Something organic but metallic looking was attached to the opposite end of the central hall, going down about two floors in size, but it was very alien in it's design. A larger distance below and not connected physically was another object, but it was hidden by the fact it had it's own layer of the strange spiraling clouds.

Jin follows her, but doesn't seem bothered by the rushing air and the suction of the vacuum. He's using the natural flight ability of his dragon half to keep himself steady. By now, six orbs of energy and air are tagging along behind him, also being willed to stay in place. He didn't grab one of the masks. Instead, a seventh orb is hovering in front of his face. The small energy barrier has shifted and changed shape so it fits to cover his chin, mouth, and nose. A breathing mask of his own make.
"He cannah live in tha', can he? Should Ah nah go after him? Or mebbe wait til he passes out 'n grab him then?"

((Always figured if space is black, subspace, or stuff-space or whatever is white... think white void, with some black force-field thing flickering on and off looking like a storm circling around, In my head it's a little like warp speed from the new trek movie. But yeah, still seems like space that isn't space in the end x.x))
The white around them was very strange to most people who saw it. It was an endless void. The 'storm' was some kind of wall around the facility. The air that had escaped was being held inside the wall, but there was far too little to breathe.
Lina glanced as Dalcon began to float before turning back to Jin so he would be able to read her lips. Still needs air.... We catch now... She placed her trust in him to follow her, she could figure out something for herself if desperate enough, but she hoped Jin would make it possible to rescue the boy without incident.
She jumped off the platform, forming two rai orbs, both filling with some of the escaping air from the hallway as she leapt, one formed under her feet, the other followed behind her. The pull of gravity let go after she was several feet up. She figured she'd catch up to Dalcon quickly enough, but she already noticed the drain of trying to hold in air, and the drain of keeping her barriers formed without air around them, it was an interesting experience to the dragon-girl.
