The Chauffeur stood still, staring coldly, but not for long. A chuckle burst through, which then steamrolled into laughter, resheathing his scythe. With a smile, Charles shook Rivven's hand. "Oh god, thank you for finishing this! I don't know how much longer I could have held that scythe steady!"

He took back his knife and said, "Here, let me go grab the other knives and the chain. It's a sacrifice of combat, losing a weapon. I once had my knives melted away! Your chain repairs are on me, Rivven. And I'll take you up on that hard drink, too."

"You're a worthy adversary, Mr. Dilys. Most opponents go down after the first throw of the scythe. And not once did it hit you! Most impressive. It truly is a shame that you and I met in the first round and not the last; this tournament experience wouldn't be what it is without this match. Rivven, I swear your fighting spirit will guide me through my matches ahead, so at least you'll be advancing in spirit."

Charles laughed again. "Look at me, getting all serious. C'mon, you get to some medical help so we can get that drink sooner. I hope whatever you were doing with your water earlier has helped those wounds."

"Barely hold your scythe steady? Perhaps I should have let the doppelgangers have a crack at you." Rivven said, laughing as if the idea was absurd. Rivven limped over to where his white coat was lying, folded how he had left it, just within the first row of spectater seats. "Thanks for the offer. I'm afraid I will have to take you up on that. I need to find a job, soon I think." He chuckled, slinging the coat over his uninjured shoulder, and moving slowly back into the arena, ready to head out the exit.
"Well I'm rather amazed you came out unscathed. I'm not going to ask how, but I'm certainly wondering how you managed to avoid the bullets and everything else without a real visible injury. Normally, at the very least, your chest would be one giant bruise right now, and you'd be queesy with muscle aches, and while I can't be sure you're not, I'll bet you even came out of that alright. It's those two palms I caught you with. Likely don't seem it, but that's one of my less pleasent techniques, should I go pass the second. Dieing from it is probably not as bad as surviving the third, why I didn't use it. Anyway, thanks for the prep talk, but I'm quite fine. I'm estatic from this match, it's been a long time since I had anything this difficult, and I can't remember the last time I fought just for fun. Can't remember I the last time I fought without any intention of killing. And look at us!" He laughed, nearly doubling over when the wound in his stomach flared with pain for a second. "Nearly killing each other for a little competition, and coming out of it acting like old friends. I'll bet any woman in those stands could give you a whole string of snide remarks about male bonding right now." He laughed, straightening up, and readying himself to go, removing one black elbow glove to let the sweat come off. He left the one with the scars under it in place, though the fingerholes certainly weren't enough to let it drain. "And who says we won't fight in a later round? Maybe some other two of the competitors will drop out or not be able to continue, and they'll look for someone to take up the blank slot. We could fight in the last round, eh?" He laughed hard at this, nearly doubling over without the pain. That would be a great pleasure, but at this second it probably spooked Mr. Chauffeur as much as it did him.
"Yes, I guess your right, let's get to a doctor. Shame to bother the fellow again. Nice man, but someone had to help me limp over to him just four days ago. I should have asked to put off the match longer so I wouldn't have reopened my stomach wound, but what can we do about that now?" He shook his head, still chuckling lightly. Giddiness seemed somewhat infectious right now, though after that match is was probably natural. "Ah, yes the water." He said, glancing down at the still active patches as he waited on Charles. Which seemed rude of him to do in his mind, but under these conditions he was going to let himself get away with a tad of disrespect. "Actually, it stops most of the bleeding and compresses the wound to help keep infection out and it from opening much more, but it doesn't do a thing to help them heal. Which is alright. I'm a fast healer anyway... Are you sure you don't need to see the doctor too? Are you really in as good condition as you look?"

In reality Charles hurt like hell, but he didn't do doctors; he had his own method of healing and remedy. "I'm alright, nothing a bit of walking off won't fix. I'm a practiced doctor myself, used to be, anyway. The hits you landed on me certainly did a number on my digestive system I'm sure. I probably won't be able to keep any food down for the next day or so," he said with a laugh.

"Naw, you go on ahead. I'll take care of collecting my things and taking your weapon for repairs."

"Alright then, thank you sir. I suppose we'll be seeing each other sooner or later, so, until then Mr. Charles." he said, waving a hand casually to the man in parting, and letting his smile dissappear as he turned away for the long limp to the clinic.

Charles flashed a peace sign in response before walking about, picking up his dropped guns and knives. The guns would need cleaning after all the water that had been about, but time was all he had until the next match, whenever that was going to be. He reholstered his guns, put away his knives, and scooped up the pieces of chain and its bladed end. He'd get to that soon enough, but there was a more pressing matter at hand.

His body ached as he walked towards the exit of the arena. Medical help was definitely needed, but he really didn't like people poking around his body all that much. Hopefully the environment around here will supply me with what I'll need. Those punches are gonna haunt me for a while otherwise. It's times like these I'm glad I'm immortal; he'd have killed me otherwise!

Dice had fallen to sleep in the ring. He still looked ready to fight even though he was asleep.

It seemed like the sun had a quite soothing tranquility, it brought pleasure to the mans face. The rays beating down on his broad body as he placed his hands in his long black jacket. Huwatari was his name, he had black hair that came to an end at his shoulders. He had a deadly look in his pale blue eyes but an angels face.

"The time has come" he swiftly said under his breath as a light grin slowly made its way across his pale face as shadow flame creatures popped out of the stadium floor, behind him. It was his minions, part of his alchemy. He stared at the sun, not even injuring his eyes not even blinding him, he pondered for some moments until his heavy boots clamped onto the stadium stage. Waiting for a perfect moment to rise.

Dice opened his eyes without moving is head, looked up at the guy. "Hello pretty boy. I was getting very board here waiting for Quils so you will do"

Dice stood up with his head still down and eyes up. As he moved he is head up you could see a Dice grin, through the grin was a sharp fang. It was as though Dice had been thrown into a blood lust through shear boardom.

"you know all this waiting has made me a hungry and you look good enough to eat" Dice drew his blade True Wind. "I'll let you go first"

He swiftly looked behind him, another man whom seemed to not know who was up against. BUt with a decline, Huwatari once again turned his back to the man. Not wishing to postpone his plan any longer since its been long enough.

"Sorry, this ones not in the mood for any killings today" he said in a low tone as he walked out of the arena. The flamed shadows following him like dogs.

dog of death? What the seven hells is that? Thought Huwatari as she srcatched his head with a confused look on his face. He looked over his shoulder at the man whom was pointing some wierd blade at him.

"I'm sorry, but i never started a fight..you just assumed i did" he said with a cheerful smile, almost fake, as he once again placed his hands back in his long jet black jacket. Heading out the door to a world that kills dreams of the youngsters..much like him.

Dice grind "Nobody ever starts fights Dog of death they just finish them. It's a lesson I learned on the killing fields. Go now Dog of Death you got things to do and people to see."

Looking at Huwatari Dice see a childish sense of faller, a way of thinking he had to grow out of at the age 8. It was like seeing what he would have been like if he never met his old master. it was quite funny.

The hot sands leaked some into his boot-clad feet as he walked into the arena. It was the late morning, and it was supposed to get hot that day. He was glad they could fight early, for he dreaded fighting in the heat. He stretched some, wanting to warm up his muscles for the upcoming duel he had been challenged to. It seemed like it was ages since he fought, his last real fight being the come from behind victory against Reaper.

Now a new challenger had arose, and he awaited his arrival.

It been a while since he woke, his head still hurt a bit, but over all he was better and he had something to focus his attention on. Leaning against the staff he had brought with him he walked into the stadium. His heavy leather boots on, his clothes were different though then anything anyone had seen him in yet. It was almost as though he had dressed in the dark with the clashing colours, bright greens, yellows, organges, clashed in bizare shapes and patterns. Speaking to his foe, "Jay, it is good to meet you at last, I have heard much about you." He spoke from behind a cream mask that offered only slits for eyes. Cocking his head to one way he removed it, "From where I came from I was the Harlequin b*****d, lets enjoy this."
