Mephlius sprinted in, and set her down on a bed. He ran into the hall. "GET ME A DOCTOR!!! SOMEBODY GET ME A F***ING DOCTOR!!!"

Dr. Gail rushed over and brought her to the surgery room, working hard to get to bullet out and keep her from crashing. The bullet had punctured her rib cage and went through her left lung. The doctors worked harder because of her lung's already weak state.
Amnity was given anesthetic to keep her from waking up and feeling the surgery, but that didn't stop her mind. Mephlius!!! Where's Mephlius?! Is he okay?! Was he Hit?!? She felt so weak, not able to talk or move. As the surgery went on she got more and more concerned...For Mephlius. Dear God...Please, you have saved my life more than I can ever count. Let me live just this one last time...I want to see him..

Mephlius paced outside the doorway, waiting for them to let him back in. Damnit Amnity... you can pull through this. God... let her get through this. I won't wish for divine wrath on her shooter or revenge or anything. I just can't bear for her to die. In your name... Amen.

Dr. Gail began giving her blood transfusions because she was beginning to bleed profusely. The bullet was lodged inside 2 bronchioles which made it even more challenging.
Amnity wished she had the insane healing abilities like Tokeru had but alas, she was just a human. Her will power was extremely strong though, even as the anesthetic was beginning to wear away and she could almost feel the incisions the doctors made, she managed to grit her teeth and ignore it.
Eventually Dr. Gail managed to get the bullet out without doing major damage, he kept Amnity in the antithetic because they needed to close up her wound...But she had another plan in mind.
"GAAHH!!!" Amnity screamed, feeling every strain and sting that was put upon her body. The nurses scrambled to put in more antithetic, the heart rate monitor was bleeping wildly. She tried to breath properly, but since her left lung was injured every time she took a breathe it felt like knives were stabbing her lungs. Dr.Gail ordered her to lay down and let them give her the anesthetic, but not before she managed to gasp, "Mephlius...Let...Him..."
The Doctor reluctantly allowed Mephlius into the room.

The door opened, and Mephlius almost threw the doctor aside to get in. He sat down next to her."Am..." A single tear ran down his cheek. "Come on Am..." He didn't lean in, because he was afraid of messing up the surgery. Then he noticed the blood transfusion bag. "Give... give her my blood. It's Lycan blood." They took some of his blood, and put it in the blood bag. "Come on Amnity..."

Amnity turned her head slightly to look at him, her eyelids half closed. "Mephlius.." her voice was barely audible, she wanted to rip out that stupid breathing mask from her face. She was beginning to loose consciousness again, she didn't want to sleep just yet. The hunter managed to grab hold of the red jeweled choker around her neck and used all the strength she could muster at the moment to take it off and hand it to him. It was one of her most prized possession. She shook her head lightly, "Don't..." she took another painful breath, "Leave...Don't Leave." The darkness came over her eyes, over the beautiful image of the one she loved.

Jacob rushed in, still in his boxers and soaking wet, carrying everything that everyone had left behind. "MEPH!" he shouted, worrying about Amnity.

Amnity's eyes were closed, but she could still talk. "...Dont live..In fear..." a light smile came to her face, "I...promised to...protect you...member?"
Dr. Gail kindly asked Mephlius to leave because his patient needed rest from the surgery.
