She laughed softly as a blush crept into her cheeks. She looked down at her lap briefly for a few moments before looking back up into his eyes. There was a soft smile in her eyes.
"I don't hate you."

Real-Dymetri had a priceless look on his face; it was a mixture between disappointment, awe and amusement. Fog-Dymetri grinned, his fangs no longer visible for some reason. I guess Lin didn't like seeing those much.. "You're so smart, Little One." he whispered, taking sight on some whipped cream on the side of her mouth. "Oh.. you have something right.. no.. there... I'll just get it." God-Dymetri leaned down, breathing deeply but silently. He closed his eyes and pressed his lips against hers, massaging her lips with his in a real effort to clean her. ((lolol)) His hands slid around her to her back, pushing her up against him. He swung his legs over so that he was on top of her, and set her down against the soft couch she loved so much. He never set his full weight on her, but he just kept kissing her as if she were to disappear in the next minute.

Unfortunately, Lin couldn't feel the sensation on her lips since it was just a dream to her. But her heart started racing, anyway. It was almost pounding out of her chest and her whole body felt like it was on fire.
She gasped outloud and woke up quickly, sitting straight up in bed. Her eyes were so wide and her breathing was hard and quick. "Oh... my..."

Fog-Dymetri was immediately pulled out of her dream, practically slapping Real-Dymetri in the face as Fog slipped back inside of Real's lungs. Though it burned as the fog slithered back inside of him, Dymetri stayed completely still and silent, watching Lin's reaction to her dream. He found it amusing, though, so he smirked lightly before watching her. Boy, was it a great time to be hidden by the darkness.

Lin was still breathing heavily as she put a hand to her forehead. "Oh my word... That was... different."
She sighed softly and then got out of her bed, still not noticing anyone else in the room. She slowly walked over to her dresser where there was a large oval mirror, and sat down on the small bench in front of it. She looked at herself in the mirror and saw the flush in her cheeks. Oddly enough, there was also a sparkle in her eyes she wasn't used to being there.

Cook raised a brow at Night's words, then spoke calmly as he began chopping up apples for a pie he'd make for dessert. Danni loved her apple pie, after all. "If and when my baby girl goes down there, you best be right next to her. And if you can die...I expect you to die for her. Anything less wouldn't make for a very reliable guardian." He said, glancing to where Danni ate, blissfully unaware of his conversation as she shoved food into her mouth. "Pace yourself, little one. There's plenty more where that came from." He said, and Danni nodded, but didn't slow down.

"Please I die to protect people for a living." He hovered around a bit Still examining the house. "you just make sure Danni doesn't explode from over eating."

Cook's answering grin spread over his wide face, and he chuckled. "The girl's a bottomless pit. She eats and eats but never gains an ounce...One of these days I'll get her to be something more than skin and bones." He vowed, his own personal mission. In his mind, the kid wouldn't be able to stay standing for long when she lived on nothing but air and water. Which is what Danni usually did if Cook didn't hound her about it.

Night nodded, and a few minutes later He phased through the ceiling ending up on the roof so that he could watch for whatever lurked in the night. A moment went by and one of Kai's Sentry spells floated past him. "Oh night its good to see you again, I hope Kai hasn't left you with a to demeaning task." "Nah, I'm protecting Danni." "Danni?" "The girl that got attacked by the demons and got revived." "Oh he ... well carry on" With that the eye floated away leaving night on the roof.

Dymetri smirked, he loved being stealthy. It was even easier because he was a vampire and naturally silent. He slithered behind Lin, just standing behind her. His reflection didn't show on the mirror. That myth is probably one of few that was actually real. Except he was able to choose whether or not to be seen in a mirror. Or in anything that reflects. Vampires were human before they became vampires and now that they are vampires they must prey on other humans in order to survive. Once, he tried to imagine what self reflection would do to a hunter vampire, once human now stalking his human prey. It boggles the mind, he soon found out. At that moment, he had an idea of how to amaze Lin further. Vampires had a limited ability in controlling weather. Of course, older vampires had more abilities, such as alchemy. And Dymetri had alchemy. Sadly, he only had fire and ice alchemy. But that was enough. Deciding that ice would be faster and more pleasant than flames, he went to work quickly behind Lin. What appeared in his hand was a rose created out of ice. He extended his hand and let the rose hover in front of her. Before her reaction, he kissed her softly on the top of her head. Stepping back, he waited for her acknowledgement.

Somehow, Lin never sensed Dymetri in her room or anywhere near her. When she saw the ice rose in front of her suddenly, she was about to gasp in surprise when she also felt a soft kiss delivered to the top of her head. Both surprises caused her to close her eyes from the sensation and gasp softly.
Once she opened her eyes again, there was a faint smile on her face. She had a good idea who was behind her, and for some absurd reason, she was not frightened in the slightest.
She slowly turned on the bench and a sparkle appeared in her eyes as she saw Dymetri. "Dymetri... I did not expect to see you again so soon. This rose is incredible and I love it. Thank you."
There was a slight blush in her cheeks as she continued to smile softly at Dymetri for a few moments. However, she quickly caught herself and realized how improper this was!
Her eyes widened and she quickly stood up. "What are you doing here, though?! This is highly improper! Not only are you a male, but you are a professor. You shouldn't be in here at all, let alone this time of night."
Despite her words, she was still slowly and carefully running her finger tips along the ice rose in her hands.

He chuckled, looking down with his hands in his pockets. Slightly slouching, he stepped closer and held a finger underneath her chin. "Do you wish for me to leave?" he asked, his voice in a hush. He smiled at her, showing teeth, and unfortunately his fangs were showing.

In the night, Lin's hair had actually curled in the night. Despite what people heard in legends, elves' hair was not always perfectly straight. Her natural hair was brown with curls. She loved that she had learned cosmetic spells from her school, though, so she could always look slightly different. It was quite fun, and handy. Her breathing was shallow again as his finger touched her. He was so close, just like in her dream, just like he had been earlier that night. His smile was honest. It wasn't a deceiving one, trying to get on her good side. It seemed like an honest, sexy smile. Yes, his fangs still scared her, but they also didn't seem as important right now as they had seemed in the past. Her voice came out breathy and low. "You should leave. Why did you come here?"

[[Sorry to say this, guys. But I'm not your vice captain anymore. ^-^]] He nodded, pouting his lower lip slightly as he did so. "But do you want me to? And I was around the neighborhood." he said, grinning. He blinked, tilting his head in admiration. "Your hair looks beautiful tonight."

(( sad But happy early birthday, anyway!))
Lin avoided his first question. If she said 'yes', he would leave and for she had a feeling she wouldn't like that. If she said 'no', it would be completely improper of her and wrong. He was a vampire... he was a vampire. She had to keep repeating that thought in her mind. She had to make sure right now she didn't forget that. But right now, she couldn't really think why that fact was important right now, why it even mattered he was a vampire. Her head wasn't completely clear. Or maybe it was the most clear it had ever been... now she was confusing herself.
"If you were in the neighborhood, why did you choose to stop by here? I am sure there are others who you wanted to see, who very much wanted to see you..."
She was thinking of Heather right now, that look in her eyes before she left, what she had said. She wondered what had happened in his class with her.
She also blushed and looked down as she ran a hand through her hair quickly. "Oh. It's my natural hair. At night, all the cosmetic spells go away. I like my natural hair, I just also have fun with the spells. Thank you for the compliment."
