I'm all about equal rights so I would love a role reversal or at least not have to do all of the work in searching for a relationship. sweatdrop
And I never really understood the sit there and look pretty and wait to be asked out attitude. confused

*fingerscrossed* I might have a cheap place to live next year! I'm glad I hung out with her today...I think we'd do okay living in the same house.

Aivi--

The one thing that is extremely troublesome about those subtle wordings of things, and fake smiles, etc...

Is that someone like me won't pick up on it. Ever. Never, ever. I have gone so, so so, soooo many years trying to fit into this normal workings of "society" to not be "that annoying guy"...

I still don't have a lot of "real"/offline friends that I talk to. I talk to my own roommate a few times a month. I mostly listen.

I am not socially adept--and if I had remained the way I was, I think I would've ended up diagnosed with autism or asperger's or something...

Seriously, they thought I needed to be in "special" classes (albeit only part of the day because my TEST scores showed high) because I didn't talk. I even had my own language apparently. (wtf?)

Soooo... no, I don't pick up on subtle things, and I can't. I try, I have learned how to act around groups so far. ;3

But yeah. I saw Watchmen ... awwweessoooommeee movie. I was not expecting that. In fact, when I first saw the previews I was inclined not to see it. More I hear about it... the more interested I got. Then I saw some other previews and, some time around somewhere, I wanted to see it badly.

If anyone had left the movie, I was too focused to notice. So so so so. Yup.

Though Dr. Manhattan should show a litttttle bit more... "decency"...lawlz. Damn. But, that does reflect his detachment to society ...

ARr. arrrr. Time to shower.

Haha. Well, you guys brought it up, so I'm just saying... When your boyfriend/girlfriend/mom/sibling/friend gets mad at you and you don't understand why, their feelings are hurt by something in between the lines. Whether or not you choose to be sensitive to it, that's up to you... but things only seem "complicated" when you can't understand or accept them.

I thought the nude forms in Watchmen were beautiful... I was really blown away by everything, visually.

I still say it is ******** stupid to get upset over. Most women know that most men do not understand this method of "subtle" communication, and yet they continue to do it thinking that it will somehow change. Just say what you damned well meant in the first place, or it's your own fault if your feelings get hurt by some perceived slight.

This is why most of my friends are male. neutral

I should date sensitive women. Or men.

...Come to think of it, I have, sort of. :B

I have endless patience for insecure people. I don't LIKE it, but I'd much rather deal with that than cocky dense people.

Oh... so now I'm cocky and dense? *cough* See, I can do it, too.

*sigh* I feel like s**t. I have to get up early tomorrow. My mom won't leave me the hell alone. I haven't brushed my hair in three days because it hurts so bad to stand so now I have a bloody mess to deal with and my leg still didn't get better. And I am going to ******** MURDER that bird. I should be all happy that it's a sign of spring, but it has the most godamned OBNOXIOUS call I have ever heard. Sounds like little kids screaming... but on a timer. Agh! @!^&))^&^!%#~!_^@!

No, dearest, you aren't. You're honest to a healthy degree - I like that about you.

I saw Watchmen on Thurs/Friday midnight release but didn't say anything about it 'cause I didn't know what the proper thread to talk about it in would be. XD

I LOVED IT AND I'M GOING TO SEE IT AGAIN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! That is all.

I think Watchmen deserves its own thread. There's so much to be talked about!

I'ma go see it with my boy in about two hours. =) I'm really looking forward to it, especially after reading what everyone has to say about it and hearing from my boy how awesome it is (he already saw it.)

Yus yus, a Watchmen thread! So that those of us that have to wait until the weekend to see it don't accidentally read spoilers while lurking. ^^;

Or, perhaps a movies discussion-type thread? About things coming out, or movies just seen... things like that. (Coraline, Star Trek, Seven Pounds, Neverwas)IAMNOTAHOLLYWOODSHILL.

Yay, a flood warning... -_-

Then stop talking about making one and make it.

I was considering going to see it, until I heard it was nearly three hours long. Man, screw that. The LotR movies gave me enough of that for a LIFETIME.

Although the giant blue wang almost equals out the running time for pure lulz. Of course, it probably won't be playing here very long if there's c**k in it. WE CAN ONLY PLAY MOVIES FOR CHILLUNS! rolleyes

And two sex scenes.

Definitely wont last long if its for the chilluns. Not to mention how gorey it can be.
