Vlad laughs as he begins leading Marie to where he said, "For short periods of time. I'm still trying to clear it all out. For instance I'm hearing things from Alexander ((the princess's other guard besides Harper)) that, based on what I already know, are troublesome."

Vlad and Marie leave the castle gate, "Well I can tell she likes him. Just look at her face anytime he's around and it's as plain as day. But Alexander has mentioned they have a tendency to just disappear for periods of time."

Thinking to herself, "So the princess and her former guard are still seeing each other, good. They love eachother but I hope that they don't get caught." Walking with Vlad and holding his hand Marie stares out into space thinking. But asked Vlad, "And if you had found the two together what would be the consenquences be?"

Vlad keeps walking, "For the princess probably just the ususal scolding, grounding, etc. from the king. For Harper it depends on the King's mood. At the very least he'd he dishonorably discharged from the knights which would more or less destory his life and future. But the King could do pretty much anything he wanted."

"Well timeshave changed, but from when I was little I don't remember much of politics. My parents tried their best to keep me out of the. But pesants married knights and guards. My mother and father were born naturally into royal families but my father was entitled to the crown. My mother's family was less than a title ever being worthy of the crown, but they married and were in love so from this information I assume we did." Marie continued to stare into the distance.

Vlad looks interested, "Very interesting. Well here we don't allow such things. I hope the princess is just leading him around and he's not doing anything." They reach the slow moving stream.

Vlad takes Marie's hand and sets them down, leaning their backs against a log, "Well if there is anything I'll find it out. But let's talk about us."

Hearing Vlad, Marie's attention was diverted. "What about us? What would you like to talk about?" She looks at Vlad as she keeps holding his hand.

Vlad rubs Marie's hand softly, "Hmm I dunno exactly. What do you see in the future for yourself?"

Taking in a deep breath, "Well I hope to be here still, with you after this is over with." She tightened her grip a bit. "What about you? What do you see?" She asked as she hoped with all her heart that she would still be alive.

Vlad smiles, "Go back to my usual routine of keeping the princess out of too much trouble and keeping this place running. Well maybe not my usual routine. I'd like to have you around." He leans over and kisses Marie, "Don't worry my dear, I'm going to find a way to stop him without hurting you. I've already got a few ideas."
