Fett was sure to walk stealthily, masking his presence as well as possible without the use of the force. He found some demonstration sabers in a training room and clipped a few to his belt; better to be prepared than not. He kept walking, until the battle between Drake and Angel reflected off of his helmet's narrow slits.
He brought up the DC-15. Drake may have been trained in Sith arts, and he may have believed himself to be a Sith, and he may have unfathomably advanced AI. However, he did not have the force, and he was not invincible.
They say that Fett doesn't hold grudges. That would be a lie. Fett never forgets when someone, anyone, keeps him from completing his job.
With a sure eye and impeccable aim, the seasoned bounty hunter raised the old rifle and unleashed blue death upon the unsuspecting droid. The bolts moved faster than light, faster than the visible trails they left, screaching towards the metal abomination in a span of time that a non-force user, let a lone a droid assembled to move quickly, would have the utmost difficulty avoiding when engaged in a lightsaber-lock with a superior duelist.

"Ha. No."
Imperius bent backward, the lunge soaring past him, and then brought his knee up to hit Drako in the face.
"This doesn't hurt as much as when you were metal,, Drako."

Some time had passed. The trap had caught nothing. The Crew were getting antsy, a combination of several factors, mostly involving Cale's plan. They were in the well patrolled core worlds on the edge of a battle waiting for a capital ship to drop out of hyperspace so they could board it. It just did not sound like a good plan. Cale wasn't worried though. he knew his plan would work. All the pieces just needed to fall into place. The Outlaw sat in the pilot's chair of the Auric Runner, alternating between reading Popular Starship Mechanic and stareing at the stars. He looked up in the direction of Coruscant and gave a slit grin. "Its about time this dirt ball payed me back for all the sith it put me through." He looked back down at his magazine and...
a Cool wind blew as Cale stood on a hill, overlooking the smoking remains of a house. Stormtroopers and a few tanks were assembled around the area, the tanks calmly watching as the troopers picked through the smoldering rebar and ruin. He had come back from Endor too late. A gauntleted hand rested on his shoulder and he looked up to see a stormtrooper's helmed visage. "Best go on home kid. Nothing to see here." The man said. Cale looked back to the ruin. "wha-what happened?" "Just some rebel scum that got what was coming to them." The trooper said. "Nothing to worry about. now, go home before it gets too dark out. you're mom's probably looking for you." The trooper said. he took his hand off Cale's shoulder and hiked down the hill to join his comrades. Cale stood on the hill, tears falling from his eyes. Despite all he had fought for, despite the emperor's death, it was all for naught. He had failed her. she died because he wasn't there to protect her. Her knight had let her down. he had kept her waiting. A knight shouldn't keep his lady waiting. Cale turned and ran back to the spaceport. He would never return to this world again. As he ran he could hear a voice on the wind call to him. Go to Coruscant.
Cale snapped awake, breathing hard. "What the hell?!" he exclaimed. He rubbed his eyes and stared out the window. He heard the voice again in his head, her voice calling to him. Go to Coruscant. It all made perfect sense. He should go to Coruscant. But why did it make such sence? He hated Coruscant. There was nothing there but trouble. But there wasn't any reason why he shouldn't go. There was bound to be profitable opportunities on Coruscant. No, Coruscant sucked. Period. So why not go? "Why the hell am I arguing with myself?" He asked aloud. No one asnwered him. he felt an unusual warmspot in his chest. Right next to the pocket where the shards were kept. He reached into the pocket of his shirt and drew out the warm glowing shards. "What the hell?..." Something funny was going on. And it seemed Coruscant was some how involved. Cale tucked the gems back into his shirt pocket and went to power up the Phoenix.

Drake Stopped for a moment. One of his external traps was tripped. Befor Fett got to him Drake caught him on one of his cams. All of this was done in an instant.
Drake launched into the air and remote activated a bomb behind Fett. Saddly for Drake it was not close enough to blast Fett into bits. Drake hit the ground under him and crushed it. He blinked and he activated anouther trap in the same room as Angel and himself. A four twin-barreled cannon. The sleeved barrels vent excess heat with each recoil. Each double-barrel fires one at a time, or two at a time, following a rotation pattern selected by Drake. The blasts came down appon Angel and blasted the floor under her.
Drake darted off and hid from his pray. ****
Drako watched as the knee came up hitting him in the jaw. flipping back and landing softly, his head still tilted back. A low laugh roared from Drako. Drake cracked his neck and looked at the figure infront of him. He no longer saw Imperius. He saw his pray.
Drako pulled back his saber and threw several powerful blows at his prays head.

Ali'anna finally ran into some droids. They regarded her coldly, lifting their weapon arms. Ali'anna conveyed the Bothan to the ground smoothly and quickly, dashing to take cover behind a nearby kiosk. She came around to trade fire with them, destroying a couple, before twisting back behind cover. She made sure to draw attention to herself, and away from the children, who fled discretely to a neaby holovid store.
Once they were safe, she darted out and opened fire, full-auto, at each of their waists. The droids were reduced to scrap metal, collapsing, doubled over, where they stood. Ali'anna stood, wiped her forehead, and retrieved the children.
As she looked upon them, a cold glint entered her eyes, and she raised her blaster at the nearest one. Her finger drew inwards on the trigger, and the fear in the child's eyes became vivid.
She shook her head. "Sorry, just... come along."
The children, though wary, saw no alternative. However, they no longer grabbed at her clothing.

Imperius reignited his lightsaber and swung it to deflect the saber. He then flipped through the air and landed behind Drako, where he lit and Force-threw the lightdagger towards his back.

(( The traps were set long ago. ))
Drako force slammed the saber into the ground. Dashing forward Drako grabbed the saber. Running to his pray he lifted his saber above his head and swung.

(('set long ago'?? for something like 4-barrled laser cannons with percision firing sequences, i highly doubt that such things would work after a long time without constant maintainance. a bomb trap i can kind of understand, but it would be unstable by now, and i doubt remotes for it would work anymore, as it would either have decayed and become unresponsive/defunct or exploded prematurely.
all that aside, this is the /jedi/ temple, not the temple of the ancients. i doubt very highly that the jedi would place such traps- laser cannons and bombs aren't their style.))

"They're all clear, general," came the call from the frigate. Mordranna sighed with relief, watching a pair of A-wings and an X-wing escort a shuttle full of wounded civilians to the planet below. "Phew, that's one less worry here. Squires, let's wrap it up here!" "Send the Feddies home cryin' to their momma, saying they saw a krayt dragon, boss?" chimed in Squire Five. Mordranna couldn't help but chuckle. "Something like that. Let's go!" she cried out, chasing a pair of TIE squints, and blasting one into a fireball, the other deciding to give up the ghost, seeking the safety of an Impstar. "Surely they can't be giving up allready?" she quizzicaly mused.

Mere moments before the trap was sprung, Angel followed Drake out of the room, landing behind the machine, though far enough she was unable to attempt any attack. She saw Fett and stepped to the side, to not be directly in the path of fire in case the hulking machine dodged blasts. " I suppose this will be easy enough if we worked together, but if what I heard about him is true, this guy's a loner and won't want me 'butting in'... " she thought. Ready to attack, she stood off to the side. No matter what Drake did, at least one of them should be able to get a blow in on the machine.

((Well, here goes... If this doesn't make sense, it's 3 AM, and I've just had a few shots redface
As for the traps, I think Oreo meant that there was enough time before everyone got there to set up traps. As for the laser cannons...some kind of portable autoturret, with remote control?))
The armored figure dashed through the halls of the Temple, seeming to almost fly, as it returned from an aircar parked outside the Temple.
Seeing the battle raging between the Sith, the Jedi, and the Bounty Hunter, the figure dashed to Cajin's side. It is him...Force, but he's in bad shape. it thought, as it quickly examined Cajin. He was burned, shocked, missing an arm, and bleeding from shrapnel, but he clung to life, his pulse feeble and irregular, and his breathing was in short, shallow gasps. I want to use this so bad... it thought, the fingers wrapped around its weapon twitching But I need to get him out of here. Besides, I might hit the Jedi, too, or Fett, which wouldn't be good. thought the figure, sighing as it slapped some bacta injectors into Cajin and then easily lifted him onto its back. Cajin twitched feebly, bacta surging through his system, as he clung to his rescuer, who turned to leave.
Oh hell... Any route out would take them through a fierce battle. Making a quick decsision, it charged to the battle between a Sith and Fett, and Drake.
Oooh, it's Fett. I'd love to get his autograph... it thought, as it walked forward, into the battle. The barrels on the rotary cannon started spinning, and there was a terrible whine as a storm of blasterbolts poured out of the fearsome weapon, flying at the robot. Oh hell yes.

"Ok," Cale said as he adjusted his flight helmit "You guys move the asteroid out of the spacelane and hold here. I have to go to Coruscant." His Crew looked a bit baffled as they stood there in the hangar watching him get ready to leave. "What about the plan?" Rak asked. "For now, the plan is on the back burner. we'll have to try it later. Just wait here until I get back." The outlaw took advantage of the hangar's lower gravity and lept into the cockpit of the phoenix. "Hold on a damn minute!" Alinn called to him "Why are you going?!" "Theres something I have to check out."Cale replied. "But Im from Coruscant! I could help you do...whatever you're going to do!" She said. "Doubt it. besides, I might need the passenger seat for cargo if I find something worth salvaging." As he strapped himself in, Cale looked to Cambot floating over Rak's shoulder. "Shockball, you're in charge till I get back. anything funny happens, decompress the ship." He looked to the shocked expressions of his organic crew members. "What? Like im going to trust my ship to a couple of Pirates?" with that he opened the hangar door. the airshield snaped into place automatically as the doors opened. Cale powered up the engines and blasted out of the hangar, nose pointed towards Coruscant. seconds later he jumped, Hyperspace taking him to the sceen of a riotous battle.

The Phoenix deaccelerated from lightspeed on the edge of Coruscant's gravity well and saw a sight that brought back memories of Endor. Huge battleships exchanged curtains of laser fire with each others, starfighters danced across the field at breakneck speed, and explosions lit the eternal night. All this was standing between him and the Shieldless city world, the destination the voice was demanding that he go to. Cale thumbed the engines and rocketed through the void, his red and gold starfighter darting amid the battleing cruisers and warships. he hoped for the life of him someone would't catch him, but amongst the carnage of a capital besieged, he doubted anyone would notice one out of place fighter.
