It's better to be safe than sorry.
I'm sure there's plenty of doctors out there that would be like "JUST TAKE PEP H LAWL1" And then their patients would go home and die from a serious condition/die a few months down the road from colon cancer.
And sued up the a** for malpractice.
No pun intended.A nice pun, though... And my point was that it could mean anything, and the "better safe than sorry" approach doesn't make sense if there are other clear signs that point to a lesser problem. As Drinky pointed out (and sorry to keep your issues public, Drinky) it should have been a $25 diagnosis. The doctor can be cautious without someone getting hit with a $500, over-the-top, and time-consuming procedure. Hey, Hemorrhoids is just the tip of my medical iceberg right now... It's cool... So Viking, since this issue was posted in the "LOL at members of the guild" topic...does that mean we can actually laugh at this? (Okay, real reason I posted that was because the list of topics says there were more posts past the one Im quotiung but it hasnt been showing any so I's doing this to see if it be fixed.) EDIT: guess not... Yes, hemorrhoids are something we can laugh at. My co-workers like to use it as proof that I'm Jewish. So now I'm the stores token jew. In reality, who doesn't want at least one kid? Spending time with my friends kid (year and a half old) has really changed my stance on the whole child thing.
