"Yea... I noticed that part. He didn't even remember meeting me the next time he saw him, which I thought was weird. I didn't know he didn't remember who I was."
She thought for a moment.
"I could have gotten away without him knowing he took me up the mountain, but I told him, because I didn't know. I thought he was being silly."

Celebor looked up at Lin curiously. "Did he get mad at you when you told him what he did?" he asked her. "That you tricked him?"
But he giggled a bit. "That was smart of you!"

" I don't know actually," Lin replied back, "He of course wasn't happy because I'm not suppose to be up there, at all. After all I'm ity bity, but... the fact I tried getting up there in the first place... well I'm not sure how he felt about that."
He wasn't too upset that was for certain, but it wasn't something she was going to try again any time soon.

"Maybe we should ask him that when we see him later," Celebor suggested thoughtfully, using his free hand to help him climb the stairs a bit.

"Oh, I'm sure he's completely forgotten about the incident by now," Haradhel laughed. "It was a number of years ago by now, it was before I even met him, after all!"

"Oh yea... it has been a long while," Lin looked thoughtful, 'It's hard to remember because no one changes unless it something like... seeing someone new or someone not being there anymore. Everyone I think so far is grown up, so no more changes I see when I come back."

Haradhel smiled at Lin. "Well, Prince Earendil is still changing quite a bit," she told her. "Even in the few years that I've known him, he's changed quite a bit. He's becoming more mature."
Though the same could be said for her, really, since she was the same age as the prince.

"I don't know... he's still Earendil," Lin replied back thoughtfully, "It's nothing overly that big. Like yea, sometimes he talks about what he's going to do, he did that once, but he's the same at the same time."
If that made any sense.

"I suppose that's true," Haradhel nodded thoughtfully. "I guess I notice the differences more because he's one of the only people I'll spar with, so I notice the difference in his fighting. And with all the studying he's been doing with Sir Valdemar, he's growing quite knowledgeable as well ... though I suppose those really aren't differences that you would notice."

"I'm too little to spar, and Earendil always knows a lot to me," Lin explained.
Indeed to her Earendil knew a lot, but she was much younger back then too, even though she was trying to learn a lot too, she didn't know as much as he did quite yet.

Haradhel smiled at Celebor and gave his hand a little squeeze. "We're more than halfway there," she assured him. "If you want to take a break, just let me know and we can stop for a bit. It is a long way, after all."
Then she looked back at Lin. "Well, I don't think you're too little to learn at least the basics of sparring," she mused. "Things like stance and grip are important things that don't change no matter how big or how small you are. Perhaps I can give you your own little lesson when we reach the top, what do you think? And Celebor's small enough you can practice with him a bit if you'd like."

"You mean like your katas?" Lin asked curiously.
Though she didn't know what Haradhel meant by grip, though. She kind of knew her stances, well two of them at least, the ones she had to start out with, but that was it.

"Katas is what you gotta practice to help you with your fighting," Celebor told Haradhel, panting. "Gotta do 'em every day, whole bunches of times, so that your body knows what to do even when your brain's dead."
He nodded at Lin. "That's what Uncle Triton tells me."
