"Ohh," Elegancia chirped, "How gentlemanly of you to accept my humble little task!" Her voiced quivered excitedly, yet without losing an ounce of her elegance and composure. It appeared as if her seducing tactics had taken some sort of a toll on Blade, yet he was not completely under her control. However, she had swayed him to make the decision she needed, and that was all that mattered.
Elegancia took his hand in hers and began to gently caress it with her other. She was never one to beat around the bush, so to speak, and blatantly went after things she wanted. Elegancia decided to play coy. "Oh, Mister Blade, would you terribly mind if we could find some other men to adjourn with us to the next city? It would make me feel ever so safe... And I would really appreciate it..."

The thief gently pulled Elegancia closer, smiling lightly as she seemed to be happy with what he had said. He didn't take his eyes off of hers as he listened to her next request. All in all, he was a bit curious to how the others react if he brought this girl back with him. And as much as he thought how lovely she seemed, past experience had taught him that being seduced... really doesn't turn out so well some times.
"Well... I do travel with a few others. But that just reminds me. I should get going before they decide to leave me in the dust. Never know when they'll be heading back out after all."
With a small sigh, he shook his head and stepped back before giving an apologetic bow. However, before he had moved away, he had done a few sleight of hands in an attempt to lift her belongings without her noticing.
"I'm very sorry. But I'm sure that a beautifully wealthy lady such as yourself would easily be able to hire a better escort or three. Goodnight Lady Elegancia."

Keeping his distance from the group still, Shun watched as they entered the hotel. Considering their choice of stay, they most likely wouldn't be staying too long, unless they were much wealthier than they appeared to be. Keeping a mental note of this, he went on his way to prepare for the next day.

Hitsu blinked, staring half stunned at Neko when he'd told her she'd have a soft bed. "What?" She said softly, figuring that she had misheard. He soon walked away, and despite how unlikely she found the possibilities she couldn't deny that he'd gotten her hopes up.
"I'll bet you five silver that he tries mind control." Yuki said, convinced that it would be the only way.
Though, when he swiftly returned outside that was proven wrong. That, or it hadn't worked. Yuki made a mental note to ask him where he'd acquired so much money later, mainly because he'd retreated too quickly for him to ask now.
Once Neko had returned with keys in hand, Hitsu's eyes grew wide. He hadn't been kidding... They were really staying here. Without giving Neko much time to finish his sentence, Hitsu threw herself at him and flung her arms around his middle in a very enthusiastic hug. "Thank you!" She exclaimed, as though Neko's actions had just saved all of them from certain doom.
Yuki, up to that moment, had been distracted by Atticus. He'd taken Riyo from him carefully, with a look of concern. "What's wrong with her?" He asked, cradling her in his arms rather than toting her around so carelessly as he had. Though, from what little Yuki had learned of this strange man.. He wasn't very charming, so it was no surprise.
He heard his sister squeal, turned to see her clinging to Neko, and grumbled something incoherent. He'd try to hold his tongue. However Neko had managed to afford this, it was good of him to spend his money on a chance for them all to relax and rest properly for the first time since they'd left home.

Neko hadn't even managed to complete his train of thought before Hitsu threw herself at him proving to him just how much it was worth it. He smiled broadly wrapping his arms around her shoulders as she hugged him around the middle. "Anything for you." He chuckled lightly lingering in their hug not wanting it to end.
Looking over at Yuki Neko was glad at the moment that he was a little occupied with Riyo, otherwise he was sure this display would be grating on his nerves.
"We can lay down now?" Mitsu asked as she wobbly stood to her feet. She proceeded to walk over to who she thought was Neko but it turned out to only be a nearby lamp post. This, however, did not stop her from talking to it like it was Neko. "Its very hot and I'm thirsty." She squinted her eyes a bit as Neko stood as stiff as a pole. "W..why are you ignoring me?" She was obviously talking drunk from her fever. "It'sh because I'm a wolfie isshn't it?" The longer she talked to the lamp post the more slurred her speech was becoming.
Looking at Mitsu with a quirked brown Neko looked to Hitsu, to Poke, and then Yuki with a tad bit of concern before turning his attention back to Mitsu. "Mitsu, we're all over here." He said softly dropping one of his arms off of Hitsu's shoulder leaving her in a one armed hug still.
Blinking a few times as she heard Neko's voice and not in the direction she had expected, an odd expression crossed her face. "That was weird." She said as she stepped closer to get a better look at Neko to finally realize it wasn't Neko at all. Confused she turned in her spot but found her knees starting to go weak, her face flushed scarlet. "Tobi you are such a handsome fellow." She smiled oddly as she sank to her knees Tobi running up to her wagging his tail. "You are the bell of the ball." She patted him rather roughly obviously to out of it to realize what she was doing. He apparently didn't mind, however as he only barked in reply.
"Okaaaaay, well I think that's the cue that we need to get to our rooms," Neko said quickly before Mitsu could utter too much more nonsense. "Poke, do you think you can help Mitsu?"

watching mitsu's reactions as the appeared were making poke more worried by the second. She didn't know people could get this sick from a fever, and by the way she was mistaking the pole for neko, she must have been pretty ill.
"of course I can..." she answered, then walking over to mitsu she bent down "come on, lets go to our rooms, then I can get you a drink of water". Draping mitsu's arm around her shoulder, poke hoisted her off the ground, trying to support her as much as possible, and led her inside. Once there she tried to go to the general direction of where the rooms were.
(I hope I didn't god mode mitsu to much either x.x; I'll change if I did)

Atticus glanced at both Poke and Yuki as they asked him what exactly was wrong with the sleeping girl. And, to him, it felt like they might've been accusing him of having something to do with it. "She's sick. And probably tired. I suppose if anyone had been paying attention, they would have noticed." Defensive? Once again, a little hard to tell.
Riyo took in a few soft breaths after she was comfortably in someone's arms instead of flung over a shoulder. Her face was rosier than usual... And she looked... Distressed. "Nyuuuuu..." Came that soft little voice that everyone thought had died. Atticus's eyes remained on her for a moment before the other girl caught his eye. Mitsu, was it?
Whether she was worse off than Riyo right now wasn't an easily answered question, but she was bad. "We need to get them inside right away." There was a small tone of urgency in his usually monotone voice. That was a good clue something was wrong. And not just 'I asked for no tomatoes' wrong. More like 'you gave me the wrong sandwhich' wrong.

Stepping out of the bar, Blade glanced over his shoulder briefly before continuing to move on. At the moment he didn't really take the time to check what it was that he managed to lift off of Elegancia, so the thief moved on to where he thought the group had gone.
He figured they couldn't have gotten too far given how much time had passed, so he kept an eye on the nearby buildings to see if any of them was a hotel. It took a little while, since he didn't know what the building looked like, or what it was called, but over all it didn't take too long for him to find the place. After all, there was only one hotel in the area.
Upon entering, he let out a small sigh before looking around, quirking an eyebrow at how the place looked from the inside. It was definitely not a cheap little motel or anything like that.
I'll have to see about helping some of the occupants here of their burdens later... That should be fun.
Grinning slightly, he looked past the front desk to see the group not too far ahead. Blade jogged lightly to catch up with them before speaking up.
"Wow... are we seriously staying here? It's gotta be pretty pricey..."

Yuki gave Atticus a cold look as he gave what he took as a snappy reply. What's up this guy's a**, anyway? His attention moved from the raven to Riyo again when she made that familiar sound in her sleep. He adjusted her carefully in his arms, to better move with her. This brought her head close to his shoulder, and he gently pressed his cheek to her forehead. She was feverish as well, he could feel it. Apparently, he hadn't been paying attention to everyone's well being like he should have.
What excitement there was in Hitsu quickly faded when Atticus had urged them to get Mitsu and Riyo inside. She was thankful that she didn't feel as horrible as they probably did, but worried about if they'd be alright or not. Hopefully Atticus had some really good medicine, to knock out their sickness before it had the chance to get any worse.
As fate would have it, Blade was back. "Yeah, Neko's treat." Yuki muttered, "Somehow." He stepped up to follow after Poke as she led Mitsu along, just wishing at this point to get away from the prying eyes of the public... And sleep. Sleep was a high priority.

It surprised him some to hear that Neko was treating them, but he soon remembered where the guy may have gotten the funds from. Blade twitched slightly at the thought, but when he glanced towards Neko and saw his new hairdo... he remembered he already got his revenge for that.
"Well that was nice of him..."
In any case, he wondered if he was in this deal. It certainly would save him a hefty sum, especially since he really had no clue how much he took from that girl, if he took anything of worth at all.
I'll have to check a little later...
As he stood there, he noted that both Riyo and Mitsu looked pretty bad off. Seems that the days in the rain, along with exhaustion really took a toll on them moreso than he thought originally.
Standing there to watch the others for a moment, he sighed a bit before moving to follow them. All the while, he kept his dark red eyes open for any possible opportunities passing by as they headed to the rooms.

How DARE he!! Elegancia was NOT one to be turned down, especially by a man that looked so inferior to her! He had the pleasure to escort her, and possibly service her, yet he just left her?! No, no, no. Elegancia was not going to abide by such a slander against herself.
Unfortunately, before she managed to let a single word slip, Blade had sashayed off into the crowd and off to some unknown place.
"Well, how rude of him!!" Elegancia reached into her back bow, where she stored all of her precious belongings, and decided to call it a night. She pulled out a fan and gently produced a personal breeze for herself and she strolled towards the finest hotel she could find.
Elegancia strutted through the front doors and impatiently stood in the front. "I am waiting for some assistance," she said in a haughty town, "and I need some now." A bellhop eagerly doted on her as she arrogantly walked towards the counter and demanded the finest suite that was in their dinky little hotel.
"No price to high, just give me the fanciest thing you have." Elegancia once again reached into her back bow and felt around for her gold coins.
... But where were they? Where had they gone? The front desk clerk returned her impatience and stated he was waiting for the payment.
"Of course, of course, just hold on, you brute!" To be honest, Elegancia was panicing. She kept her composure and did not let her inner turmoil show.
... Blade! He seemed to romantically grab her, but he probably stole her money!! WHERE WAS HE?! In desperation, Elegancia frantically looked about the room, hoping she would find something to be of use to her.

Atticus ignored the cold looks he received from Yuki and followed everyone to the rooms. Through the back way of course... Since their canine friend wasn't exactly welcome amongst the hotel patrons.
Once everyone was comfortably in the room, he gestured that the two sick women be laid on the beds. And, after a moment of examination, he'd decided the best route to go.
"I do hope they're not squeamish with needles..." He mumbled to himself and retrieved his bag of 'goodies' from his hat as usual.
Meanwhile, after Riyo was placed on one of the uber-soft 'I'm laying on a cloud' beds, she rolled over and gave a groan. "Where... Am I?" She managed to ask as her eyes opened. They were bloodshot, making her already red eyes even redder.
"Well, good morning sleeping beauty..." Atticus mumbled, sitting at the foot of the bed and pulling out a syringe. He attached the needle, then looked for the medicine he required. It didn't take but a second to find it and fill it.
Riyo weakly sat up and put a hand on her forehead. "Just shu-" Oh, how dumbstruck she was when she saw that syringe. "W-what is that?"
"It's a syringe."
".... What's it for?"
"Medicating you."
Riyo, as if on auto-pilot, scooted up against the wall at the meer sight of that... That thing. She could see the point shine in the light. "You're... You're not touching me with that..."
Atticus looked over his shoulder at her for a moment and gave an eye roll. "Watch me."
Riyo's ears fell against her head, and expression changed to anger. No matter how light-headed she felt, he wasn't about to stab her with whatever it was... She wasn't sure why, but it struck an almost unreasonable fear in her. "I-I'm warning you... Don't *cough* you dare..."
"Threaten me all you want, I doubt you'll be able to do-" And at that moment, Riyo reached into her boot and pulled out a knife. A rusty one, but it could still cut someone open. The excitement was just a little too much for her right now. Her breaths became louder the more she spoke, and her hands were shaking. "Get away. I don't want any of your drugs..."

Doing as she was instructed shelayed mitsu on the bed and stepped back, noticing atticus was now holding up a needle and about to poke riyo with it. For a minute she ignored them, as she poured two glasses of water from a conviently placed pitcher. She figued it was for anyone who were using the rooms.
Handing one to mitsu she was about to hand another one to riyo but stopped. Riyo was already about to fight again with a rustly looking knife.
"riyo! put the knife away, he's a doctor isn't he?" she told them. "He knows what he's doing.." She assumed that, if he was about to hurt them then he would have done this long ago

Moving along with everyone quietly, Hitsu wondered what they were going to do with Tobi. Were they supposed to bring him inside? She mulled over this until they reached one of the back doors, where she got her answer.
Stopping at the door, Yuki had looked back to her. "The dog can't come in here." It was a firm statement, and thereafter he had gone inside. Sure, it was a guess, but he wasn't wrong. Though, what classy place would let some filthy mutt into their establishment? Frankly, he was shocked that they were allowed in, with how pitiful they all looked after this long.
Hitsu frowned, but figured as much. She knelt down to the dog, and patted him on the head. "Stay here, okay Tobi? Stay." She hoped that he would understand, for she was certain that Mitsu would be upset once she felt better if Tobi had gotten lost when he was left outside. Afterward, she got to her feet and went inside as well.
And what relief either of the siblings felt for being in a safe place was short lived. At first, there were no worries... Then Riyo had awakened, and the seemingly endless battle between she and Atticus began again.
Before Hitsu could suggest that Atticus was only trying to help, Riyo had pulled out the rusted blade. She gave a startled squeak, putting her hands to her face worriedly. She didn't move, though, unsure of what to do.
Yuki's eyes had grown wide, and while he wondered just where Riyo had gotten the knife... Let alone why she had it... Now was not the time to ask. "Riyo!" He nearly yelled, "Put it down!" Honestly, he was afraid she'd hurt herself or someone other than Atticus if she started waving it around. Of course, he was smart enough to keep his distance as well, though being only a foot from where she'd been laid it didn't exactly have him out of range. He could reach for it, but he had no idea if she'd turn on him if he tried to take it from her. He spoke again, calmer as he tried to coax her out of her tension. "Please, Riyo. Put the knife down."

As they headed to the rooms, Blade tailed behind a foot or two. He supposed now was as good as any other time to check what he had managed to snag tonight. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out the bag he had lifted and peeked inside.
Guess putting up with that was worth it after all... I don't think I'll need to lift anything else for awhile.
Unless of course, he felt like snatching something for the thrill of it.
With a slight smirk, he put the coin bag back and looked up towards the others when he heard something about Riyo and a knife. From the looks of it, the cat and the raven were at odds once again. Though this time one was armed with a knife... and the other with a syringe.
Something told him that only one meant actual harm on the other though.
"Woah, take it easy Riyo..."

Riyo gave a glance at everyone shouting at her to either calm herself or put the knife down, but her eyes returned to Atticus and locked on.
"I'll tell you what, Atticus..." She let out another cough before continuing with whatever she was saying, but didn't move from her spot. "I'll let you do whatever you want.. If you tell me what you're hiding."
Atticus, who now had his feet firmly planted on the ground in front of the bed, narrowed his eyes. "But I'm not-"
"Bull." She was still well enough to cut him off, at least. "Why are you here.. What are you hiding... It's the same answer, isn't it?" Riyo's eyes were going in and out of focus. The more energy she exerted, the worse she looked. "Tell me. Now. Or I'll cut you open and find out myself..."
Atticus gave a sigh and scratched the back of his head, looking at the syringe then at her. She knew alright. He could probably thank that... Monster for it. "Alright then. You really wanna know what I'm hiding? It's a juicy secret I'm sure you'll love." He might've been more convincing, had his tone actually changed.
"I've been trying to keep you from it for your own sake. But what do I know about what's good for you and what's not, right?" He took a few bold steps forward, closer to her. He knew she couldn't be holding on that well.
Riyo, as she noticed the blurry figure of Atticus stepping closer, she tried to straighten her hands, but they were still shaking.
"Riyo. Your Father is the one who told me to find you. He's alive and well."
For a moment after that, there was silence from both of them. Atticus, waiting for a response. Riyo, trying to process what he'd just said so she could respond.
The first thing to happen was the knife falling out of her hands and into her lap. Her hands followed soon after that. Those red eyes, they grew wide. Though what emotion they held was far from obvious. "N.." She stuttered.
And while she was lost in her own mind, Atticus took that opportunity to remove her jacket and give her the shot. Which... She surprisingly let him do without so much as a fidget. "See? Quick and painless."
Painless? She looked like a vegetable now. It was as if that information shut her brain down completely.
"I wish all of my patients went down that easily.." Atticus muttered and glanced at Mitsu. "Your turn."
