"We?" Heswina asked softly as she continued to walk. If not for the fact she had walked closer her voice sould have been drowned out in the gentle grating of metal plates against each other and the chime of chain links tapping against the plate prision they were confined in. "Who said anything about a we? You can get into the Citadel if you want, I just want that b*****d's head on a silver platter." Initial rage subsiding Heswina continued forward until she'd be standing parallel with Xol, a good ten feet seperating the two.

Much like Xol she did not like it when things deviated from their set coarse in her plans, and Xol was not part of her initial plan. She half expected him to be off ******** like a rabbit on viagra. At very least she had hoped to avoid her one time lover, not because she feared him. Oh no she had absolutely no reason to be afraid of Xol...but rather she just did not want to deal with him. He was no longer worth the effort that would be used to contain or destroy him.

Drawing a deep breath she exhaled her luke warm puff of steam. Xol can do as he wished, but she had to do this! Nothing to lose and everything to gain...she would not be stopped.

b***h. The memories flooded into his brain. The memories of why he both loved and loathed the woman standing parallel to him... only feet away. That was the past and this was now. There was no love, just hate. Revenge, loathing, blackness. She was going to prevent him from seeing the blackness overcome and that would not happen.

"One more step and I deliver you to KB on a silver platter. I'm sure he'd be estatic to have his former mental/physical ******** buddy back, don't you think? I'd even watch... maybe join in..."

The tell-tale silver aura flickered and then exploded around his body. The ground underfoot violently cratered in a diameter of ten odd feet so that Heswina's nearest foot would be half on and half off the edge. Althought he hadn't shifted into his true state, the power output was enormous. Even the ground itself seemed to sizzle from the massive amounts of heat being output by Xol's body.

"It is not my intention to bring harm to you as there's no reason to at the moment. However, putting my plan into danger because of some age old hatred for that stain-of-the-world KB will not be tolerated."

Xol somehow knew she wouldn't listen to him, but then again she probably knew that he knew that she wouldn't listen. Crazy paradoxical crap. One constant remained true though... he would, without hesitation, strip her naked and present her bound and bloody form to KB if she endangered his plan.

A small twing blinged against the inside of Xol's barriers and Heswina's smiled at something that could not be seen. The heat didn't seem to effect her any more visually then it effected Xol, and she made the slow slide of her foot look like her idea rather then been forced by Xol's little temper tantrum. "So tell me," Heswina said in a calm voice, a startling contrast against the raging malestrom of hatred she had just been earlier, "Had we not tried to kill each other, would we have been happy?" Her armored fingers drumed against the leather binding of her sword's handle as she stared into the glossy barrier, watching herself dance upon the light. Her small smile hadn't flickered away as she spoke, instead it seemed to make the smile all the more true.

Xol was cunning, more so then people gave him credit for, but in comparison to Heswina he was still just a brute. A tenth of her mind could work circles around Xol while she whooed and charmed every man from here to the end of time. Not really waiting for Xol to answer her first question Heswina glanced over at him, half her face hidden behind her blond bangs, "I'm getting old, don't hold as much sway as I once had. What do you think? Think I'm getting too old to be charming men to throw themselves at my feet?"
PostPosted: Thu Feb 09, 2006 10:36 pm

Xol ignored her first question, partly because he truthfully didn't have an answer for it. One half told him to say yes, get her all moist and horny like a mink then take her back to the Keep for a few hours. The other half told him not to anwser and to have her think about it for herself. Damn his man whore tendancies. Even now all he could think about was killing and sex. Sex and killing. Yeah, that one was more accurate.

"Maybe for me, but not for someone like KB or the other 99% of the men on this mudball. Take your chances with them."

He still wouldn't turn to face the woman to his side, even as he gently floated out of the crater and came to rest on the ground, aura fading away with a thunderous pulse and crash of air.

"Already looking for holes in my barriers, eh? Typical. Can't win the shouting match so you go right into the mental one."

For some reason he felt like antagonizing her. Trying to get an outburst or perhaps a breakdown. Maybe he was just sick enough in the head to take pleasure from her kneeling on the ground in a pool of tears. Yeah... no maybe about it.

He would have to learn to control these urges.

She smiled and tucked a few strands of hair behind her ear. "Who's looking? I've already found them." The confindent tone in her voice, the steeled look in her eyes, and that half smirk. If she was bluffing she was doing one hell of a job looking completely smug about not being able to crack Xol's little barriers.

The reason she had not stopped and waited for Xol to answer her first question was because she actually didn't want to know. To her Xol's and her relation extended to the battle field only. They would side if they needed, but they were enemies.

Her armor wavered, almost like an illusion with too little thought to it, and began to flicker away. First her gauntlets, pauldrons, torque, breastplate, greaves, and finally her boots. Goose bumbs pebbled her bare skin as a second illusion wrapped itself around her. Black strands of faberic sprouted from no where, weaving and wrapping themselves around her body. The neck of her shirt to be fit tightly around her throat and continued that skin tight pattern down to her flat, scarred, stomach where it abruptly stopped. Her pants, on the other hand, were a bit more free flowing, the legs flapping against the gentle night's breeze. She was fairly sure Xol could make her body out against the night's darkness with the moon and the barrier to both provide a sort of glow, but she honestly didn't care. He had already spoke his conclusion with her...

...but he was lieing.
PostPosted: Thu Feb 09, 2006 10:56 pm

Xol scoffed and watched her armor fade away into a more form fitting material. Although the horny b*****d side of him was raving like an doped up lunatic, the darker side held control. And quite easily at that. He had found his rock, the stability he needed to not waiver. Just in time too as another other moment in time and he would of pounced on Heswina like a male dog jumping on a b***h in heat.

"Funny choice of clothing given the weather, no? I would assume that unless that's a specially designed or magically embued wardrobe, you're pretty much defenseless."

The light silver haze of his aura danced playfully along the outline of his body. Normally, during the day you wouldn't be able to see it, but it was always there. Only now during the darkness of night was it most easily seen. It mattered not if he masked his presence as KB already knew he was there. It was the presence of Heswina that Xol feared would make the man run.

"We wait then... and preferrably in silence for now as I would like to lose myself in thought for as long as possibly to clear my mind to absolute perfection. Like I said, I want to mistakes. Alot is riding on this."

Catching a peripheral glance at Hes, Xol began to slowly and methodically walk towards the Citadel. KB was almost ready. He could tell by the amount of power the man was building.

Heswina smiled and started after Xol. Her voice, sweetened honey, ringing voicelessly upon Xol's ears. "Silence then." Again a small twing blinged against the inside of Xol's barriers as Heswina withdrew her presence from his mind. Only she did not withdraw out, instead she went deeper in and just vanished. She was there, only she was not there in a physical sense as she would have done last time. Xol was still bound to her, locked forever in a bind the very second he desided to touch her, to kiss her, to love her. He was there, forever, in a small bundle in the back of her mind, and she was forever there, locked in Xol's twisted and battered mind, only she wasn't really there.

The truth was she had no real purpose of the clothes, sure they were more comfortable then the armor, but she wanted to know, had to see it for herself. When she saw KB she'd revert back to her armor, but for now she enjoyed the chill against her flesh. If she was cold she made no mention of it, and the thin material of her clothes showed nothing that might reveal any discomfort to the temperature.

She let her mind wander breifly, wondering just why she was here. Why was she not ripping Xol to peices? Why wasn't she trying to tear down the Citadel's grand tower? Why was she so gung-ho on killing KB? And where the hell was that god damn machine, Zenogais?!

*After a signficant amount of time had elapsed, Mastema could tell Nana was running on hardly enough energy to stay awake* Hmm..... Dear, I believe that will do quite well for one night of rehabilitation. You should rest for a while now. *As he said it, Mas was already leading Nana back to her bed side. Once there, he slowly set her down to the position where he'd lifted her off the bed a while ago*

Huu~ Perhaps you're right. I can't go burning myself out on the first day.

*A small sigh would escape Nana's lips as she was sat back down on the bed. She really was feeling the burn in her muscles, by now. This "potion" that Mastema spoke of that could help her in her sleep, along with the muscle treatment via her own natural electrical field would be greatly appriciated. Now all Nana really had to do was wait for Mastema to produce, said potion to drink before going to sleep. Just how long she would remain asleep depended on either Mastema, or how loud the citadel's soon to be "guests" were, once inside*

*Once Nana was in a position where she could shift herself comfortably, another small flask of the previously used potion would appear in Mastema's palm, and he would present the translucent pink/red liquid to Nana* This is the drink I was speaking of earlier. You should probably take it now, before you fall asleep

<_<

Hnn.

*Nana would take the flask in her hands, cupping it gently. Though she knew not what the liquid was, she trusted Mastema. Sighing again Nana would move over on the bed a little, and then close her eyes and tilt back the flask to her lips. Once all of the liquid inside was gone, Nana would offer the flask back to Mastema to take. She'd start preparing to sleep shortly after, and would smile at Mastema before resting her head back onto her pillow. Nana's eyes would focus on Mastema after that, staring with a sort of glee flickering in the backs of them. He was being very supportive, and it was appriciated more than he knew. Nana would probably continue to watch Mastema for a time, until she finally passed into sleep, after which the liquid could do its job, and Mastema could get back to taking care of things*

KB didn't seem to be bothered by Xol or Heswina's approach. The woman was an accomplished telepath, and that was her only threatening quality. If anything, she might be the one sliver of intelligence that could strike a mortal blow upon him, not that she would. Oh no, the people of the Dojo would continue to fruitlessly remove shell after shell, ever confident that his taint would visit them once more.

In any case, the amassed energy that KB had been forming seemed contained to his body. It would ripple outwards for but a moment, before he'd reigned it in tightly. Vaguely, one might feel the presence of three others, though their souls were tucked away in a safe place. Those angelics would be freed later to do their work. For now, it was simply a matter of piling up energy. At the rate at which KB was doing so, it seemed his plan might be to just blow away the entire Citadel foundation, and leave the city spiralling downwards into a massive crater. Such an idea had crossed his mind in the past, but he'd decided to choose something much simpler than that. Steady, methodical, much unlike KB. As if his new form had tamed his mind for the moment, which was odd, given that his chaotic nature seemed predominate in all his forms. Unhindered, ever-piling, growing and growing, much as it had in the Dojo.

Tyrsais

::Tyrsais could now be detected entering the Citadel area. He was approaching slowly from the southeast. Although this was normal for him, he did not normally take as much time. Obviously today he was in no hurry to get inside.::

*Mastema would leave the flask aside and take a seat at Nana's bedside for the time that she remained away. He obviously didn't mind her watching him for that short time, and he himself gently stroked her arm until she did fall asleep. Now, with Nana comfortably resting, Mastema would start on his "exercise" method for Nana's muscles; Mastema himself was now on level 98 and in front of the children's room. To get their attention, he would first knock on the door* I suppose you are all still puzzled over Eecheb's dream.... perhaps I can clear some of that up for you. *Mastema opened the door and quietly walked in, at the same time he spoke his second sentence*

*Tyr would probably be able to sense Xol, Hes, and KB all around the citadel*

*The knock was enough to draw the children's attention. Looking to the door with curiosity, they'd next hear Mastema's voice. He was right as always. There were still questions about what Eecheb had experienced, and they probably had several questions for Mastema to answer. KB was outside of the barrier now, and those he could sense three souls, due to whatever power Mastema held over the citadel, KB wouldn't be able to tell where they were exactly. Trilla and Eecheb hadn't received much in the way of sleep, so they were not as alert as they would be otherwise. Micha hadn't had a chance to fall asleep, due to the interuptions, but maybe after all of this all three of them could finally rest in peace as it were. No doubt if something happened while they were asleep, they'd be teleported up once floor for protection, and likely never know unless one of them awoke and alerted the others. For now however all eyes were fixed on Mastema; Trilla would yawn briefly*
