Ember who was used to atems actions just curled up to him and fell asleep.
Ryou and khalid unfountly would not be sleeeping in. Kai had wet the bed and himself and was now crying loudly.

Ryou and Khalid were bickering. "I got him last time." Khalid said heatedly, pinning Ryou down to the bed by his shoulders. They were both quite unclothed, after certain activities from the night before, and in a fairly amiable mood, despite their mild argument. The violet-haired man grinned down at his younger partner. "Besides, you're his father. You're the one who needs to be spending more time with him, not me." Ryou half scowled, half pouted up at Khalid. He didn't fight against his hold, and instead rather enjoyed it. "You're his step father, so don't go pulling stuff like that out on me. Besides, he was absolutely terrified of you after what you did to Ember. You need to gain his trust again." He winced as Khalid dug his nails in, and finally gave in to his husband. "Fine!" He shouted breathlessly. "I'll take care of Kai. But you have to get up too, if I have to suffer. Make breakfast or something." Khalid grinned, kissed him briefly, and then got up to his feet. He dressed hastily, bounding out of the room. Ryou was slower, but was quick to go to Kai's room, once clothed.
"Oh, Kai, I'm sorry." Ryou said in genuine apology when he saw what his son had done. He thought the boy had just been cranky or hungry. He scooped Kai up and prepared to take him to the bathroom, to give him a quick bath. "It's all Khalid's fault. Don't be mad with me."

Once he was in his fathers arms he calmed but not much. He was still unhappy at the fact he was wet. "poopie" she told his father grasping tightly to ryou. that eather ment he had pooed or that he needed to.

Ryou's brow furrowed. "Well, that's not good." He said, reaching the bathroom. They had a small, potty chair in hopes of training Kai. Ryou stripped off his son's pajamas, checking to see if he had soiled himself or not.

Luckly kai had not soiled himself. He was only wet. "ppoopppiie!" kai whined and squirmed.

"Right, right." Ryou said, setting Kai down on the miniature toilet. He could hear Khalid moving around in the kitchen, which was right down the hall.

As kai sat on the little potty he looked around. There was a few noises and kai giggled having used the tolit "Yaayy!" he said happly clapping.

Ryou smiled and helped Kai clean up afterwards. He ran some warm water in the tub, and hurried to give Kai a brief bath. He made sure to clean him thoroughly, even if it was a bit fast. He took his son back to his room and dressed him for the day, in overalls.

Kai cooed and nuzzled his father after he was washed and dressed. he was muchhappier now.

Ryou paused to look over at Kai's bed, and decided that he would make Khalid clean it up later. Holding his son securely, he went into the kitchen, where Khalid had chosen the laziest way of doing his job. He had made waffles, meaning that he had pushed down the lever on the toaster. "Of all the things you could have made for breakfast, you chose frozen waffles?" Ryou asked with a sigh, setting Kai down in his high chair. He was mockingly irritated; but Khalid wasn't listening to him at all. "...Khalid?" The violet haired man was standing before the window in the kitchen, staring blankly outside. The sun was rising, the sky still a hazy pink and orange. His eyes were focused on Kira's grave, and he didn't even blink when Ryou walked in. He found himself losing his control of his body; he was going into his automatic mode when he was supposed to be carrying out the duties of Fate. He had put this off for too long, wanting to enjoy what he could of being with Ryou. He knew it would have to be today. Maybe within the hour. Maybe in the next five minutes. Completely cutting himself off from the real world, Khalid reached out mentally to find either Luci or Kira, to confirm that it would be okay if he proceeded with the resurrection.

Kai whimpered softly as he was set in the highchair. He was still terrified of khalid. he reached out for his father wanting to be held agian.
Luci was in the bland room where he kept kira. Kira was sitting in a corner staring blankly and nothing. Luci was using a flashlight to look in her eyes "I swear women I leave for a few months and you get yourself destroyed. Couldent even figure out how to lock the frikin room!"

Ryou went over to Khalid, forgetting about Kai for the moment. "Is everything all right? Khalid?" He asked, getting no response. He reached up to shake Khalid, and as soon as he made contact, the other man's hand automatically shot out, grabbing Ryou's wrist in a bruising grip. Ryou cried out in alarm and pain, struggling to break free, which he did after a few minute's work. He went over to Kai quickly, realizing at once that Khalid was not himself in the least. No, Khalid was not himself. He had appeared in Kira's room, after a little effort. He glanced emotionlessly at the demon, hovering over the woman, and crossed his arms over his chest. "Is today not a good day?" He asked calmly, his violet eyes glittering. "There's a great need for me to bring her back soon. I don't think it can wait. Is it possible for her to be brought back to life in this state?"

"Oh yes. Today should be fine. I'd like to find out when her mental state is. And that wont be apparent intill she's in a mortal body." luci said. "Im sure I put her back togther right so there shouldent be a problem.
Hearing his father cry out kai started to cry and squirm in his highchair.

Khalid arched an eyebrow at the 'put her back together' part. The demon must have picked her apart or something like that. He nodded curtly, deciding against asking. It wasn't his business. Besides, if Kira was messed up mentally, that was fine for Khalid. He would get to keep Ryou to himself for a while longer than he expected. "There's no reason to wait, then. I can do it as soon as I get back to my body." He mused aloud, looking towards Kira once more. She had remained completely silent. "See you soon, I suppose." Ryou rubbed his wrist, and gave Kai a smile, to try and show that he was okay. Khalid hadn't moved from his spot by the window, so Ryou assumed that he was just reacting automatically. He hadn't tried to hit Ryou, at any rate, so it would be fine. He picked Kai up anyway, leaving the kitchen. "Let's leave Khalid alone for now, huh?"

Kai cooed softly nuzzling into his fathers arms.
