Darts had been on a journey of the surreal shortly after his hybridization. His jacket was now the only thing anchoring his slightly incorporeal form to this plane of existence, and coffee was the only thing keeping him sane, but this was different. He had to take a leave of absence, a sabbatical to attempt to understand the strange new powers that had warped his body. He wasn't comfortable with his new form yet though, even as he consulted with people who claimed to be experts in the field of paranormality, people like Morty, who welcomed Darts on the basis of curiosity, and Agatha who refused to see him based on his low status as a no-name trainer. Nothing they tried, no herbal remedies, no binding seals, nothing had brought him relief from his state of inbetween. "Well." The Giratina hybrid sighs, looking up at the headquarters. "Looks like we've come full circle, eh jackety?" His jacket waved feebly in response. His tactile control and response from the nigh-living organism draped over his shoulders had increased only slightly, and it was still odd to have a jacket for an arm, but he had had more time to adjust. The crest covering most of his head winks slightly in the lights coming from the HQ, illuminating his form as he reaches a hand and opens the door. Maybe here, where it happened, with people who had gone through the same thing, he would find solace.
It seemed as if by clockwork that a figure would pass from the hall into the HQ's main room, where Darts had some in. A Ho-oh hybrid came into view, a head tilting at the unusual hybrid that came in.

"Can I help you?" Amaranth would speak up, trying to make heads or tails of Darts.

"Uh, okay." Tristen said, rushing off for he didn't want to be any later than what he was. The moment he got to the training room doors, the doors flew open and my head popped out. "YAAAH! Blizz! I said I was coming!"

"No, its not that..." I said to him.

"It's...not?" Tristen asked.

"I sense misery, cheap cologne, and a death wish..." I said.

Darts, who most definitely only wears expensive cologne, slowly made his way through the halls, his head swiveling slowly back and forth until he stopped, his red eyes on the Ho-Oh hybrid that had accosted him. "Darlin', I don't believe anyone can help me any more." He drawled, drawing his words out in a thick southern accent imitation. If you could've seen his mouth, it was smiling. This Ho-Oh seemed familiar to him, even though they had never met before. "But I won't stop you from trying, if you're gonna insist on account of lil ol' me." His outward demeanor was all confidence, but another lurch of pressure from the Distortion World left his head dizzy. He was part undead, and still he got dizzy.

Rhyme watches Tristen leave and then spots two more Hybrids coming in. She calms Reaper by pulling him off her head and snuggling him in her arms, backing off into a corner and, finding a chair, darting right onto it and curling back up on it, petting the Zubat comfortingly while watching the events pass.

"Excuse me?" Unfortunately for Darts, whose cologne had Amaranth wondering if he had sprayed a Repel on himself, the notions of flirting were utterly lost on her. "If you don't need help, I'll be on my way." She said before turning to resume her walking.

"Oh I don't think I'm the one who needs help." Darts replies, smiling as reality yanks at his very fibers, threatening to drag him away until he feels the reassuring weight of his jacket pull him down and still in reality. "I will see you later, red hot, count on it."

I rushed off out of the training room, readying an Ice Beam charge in the palm of my hand, looking around the area. I rushed by Rhyme, taking notice to her for a second. "Hello there." I said, rather courteous, then ran off. I had to make sure nothing was missing in the headquarters at the very least.

Tristen then walked foward only after a few seconds later, staring in confusion. "I dunno what just happened..." He said, rubbing the back of his head.

"...Red hot? This must be that hitting on thing I was told about. Except I don't really hurt..." She spoke up, wondering if maybe Sol knew of whoever that was. For now, though, maybe it was better not to find out and find something to keep handy in case Darts needed to be batted away later.

Wandering into the main room with a confused look on his face and a newer jacket with more fanciful buttons on the front, Reno looked up to Blizz before watching him disappear before he could say anything. Scratching the back of his head in wonderment, the red haired man soon turned to the woman who he had heard speaking to herself. Giving a quick glance over her and gulping as he sensed much more power than outwardly shown, the newly elected Snagem Administrator decided to offer a small greeting. "Uhh....Miss...Getting hit on is more of an expression than an actual physical hit...By the way, I am Reno and....I 'ave no bloody idea who you are." The faux Brit told the woman, blinking a few times as he unconsciously slid a hand onto a Pokeball that sat inside his new jacket.

Kairi was locked in a rather nightmarish sleep, images from her most recent mission flashing through her mind. The final image of her sister laying broken on the floor as a younger version of herself cradled her is what finally startled her awake, causing the girl to jolt upright, sweat dripping from her temples. She shuddered as she tried to clear the image from her mind again. Her 'What if?' had taken its toll on her, and even though she knew it could never affect anything in this world, it still terrified her. She knew that the real version of Leslie, her sister, was much stronger, and didn't need her protection, but, Kairi felt horrible knowing that she wasn't there for the younger girl when she was growing up. That she couldn't defend her from their horrible mother. Renata was curled up in her lap, and Kairi found herself hugging the Poison Pin Pokemon close to her. The Nidorina gently stroked her trainer's face with her claws, trying to soothe her. The redhead stopped shaking, leaning her face against her Pokemon's short, blue fur, sighing loudly. "I have to make things right with her Renata. She needs to know that I'm not going to leave her behind again," Kairi whispered, still trying to calm her nerves.

She stood then, gathering up her bandages and retying them tightly around the right side of her face, covering her scarred eye. Renata jumped to the floor to stand by her trainer's feet, and walked with her when Kairi left the room, leaving to go in search of her sister. She couldn't leave things the way they'd been. She just couldn't.

Sounding over Kairi's SNAG, GRAY decided now would be the time to enlighten her to the events earlier today. "And here I thought you all had died and I was finally free from having to monitor so many of you. Alas, I feel inclined to tell you that the small blonde girl ran to her room after the other red haired idiot yelled at her over something that fried the systems in his little lab for a minute. Please try to console her before anything else happens to make it even more challenging." The snarky AI echoed, covering for Reno as he was currently slumped over one of the computers in an attempt to help track down odd phenomena GRAY might not see as a possibility. The advantages to having a Psychic channeler were at least somewhat there in this situation.

Kairi listened carefully to the sound of the AI's voice, and at hearing that Reno had been yelling at her sister, the redhead scowled. She would have to deal with later, she wouldn't tolerate Reno treating her sister that way. Her nose wrinkled in disgust for a moment, but, she returned to her usual blank expression quickly. Renata nudged Kairi's leg, causing the girl to look down at the Pokemon. She smiled briefly and then started walking again, quickly getting herself to her sister's room. She knocked gently on the door before opening it and sticking her head through the crack. "Blondie? You in here?" she asked calmly. Catching sight of her sister, Kairi smiled and stepped in further. "How are you doing? I know I've been gone for a while, but..." she trailed off, unsure of what to say. She just stood in the doorway, waiting for a response from her younger sister.

Leslie would ignore Kairi at first, although not on purpose currently as due to her current placement on the bed, facing the wall. She had a laptop cracked open, bright vibrant blue headphones on and was currently altering some music with some kind of software that appeared to be homemade. Clicking a few times before huffing in frustration, Leslie threw her headphones into the mattress before turning to leave the room. Widening her eyes as she saw Kairi standing in her room, they swiftly narrowed as she returned to her foul mood. "Hi sister. Why are you here? Reno send you to cover his butt over what he said or are you going to try to make up for abandoning me for over a year?" The little blonde growled out, putting on a hoodie before stashing her laptop in her backpack and placing her headphones around her neck.

Kairi almost felt a little hurt at her sister's icy words, but realized that she was not the one who should be feeling hurt. Leslie's words did hurt her, but, she had every right to be mad at her. Kairi didn't attempt to get any closer to her sister, staying in the doorway. "I'm not here as anything to do with Reno. Whatever he said to you, I'll kick his butt for later. Right now... right now I just want to apologize. I want to make things right between us..." she trailed off, her head tilting down, making her stare down at her boots. "I am sorry for leaving you for so long, I really am. The first time I disappeared, was because I was with my dad, training and helping him with raising some of the Houndour pups. I should have called to let you know where I was... Actually, I should have brought you with me, but, I wasn't thinking. I am sorry for that," Kairi looked up again, locking onto her sister's blue eyes with her single golden one. "But more than that, I am sorry for things once said before. I didn't believe that you could have been harmed by our mother as I was, but, I realize now that I was wrong. She did hurt you, and I wasn't there for you when you were growing up to protect you when you needed me. I see that you are so strong now, stronger than I was at your age, and I realize it's because of what you've been through. I'm sorry you had to deal with that..." Kairi inhaled deeply, trying to steady herself as she began to shake. Her hands were fists, clenched at her side. "I disappeared again because I needed to do something. I... I went to the Unowns... I asked what would have happened if I had never ran away from home so many years ago. And... and... what I saw..." Kairi stopped there. Falling to her knees, her hands pressed against the floor. Her teeth were clenched, tears flowing from her eyes to soak her cheeks. "I'm so sorry Leslie... I'm so, so sorry..."

A blue-haired, glasses wearing dork would be wandering around HQ, away from the scene currently unfolding between Kairi and her sister. In fact, this boy was looking for someone else. A someone else who owned the trench coat that he was currently carrying. When he had received it, it had been nearly unrecognizable as a trench coat, but, he had fixed it up, used a better material for some portions of it, and, well, Dante was pleased with his work. Now he just needed to find Kain so that he could return the trench. He just wasn't currently sure where he would be, and so, he actually wound up sitting on the floor in the middle of the entrance hall of the base, unsure as to where to go.

Leslie looked up to Kairi with the cold blue eyes before finally letting them soften slightly. Looking down at the ground before letting her backpack drop to the ground, she leaped at her big sister to give her hug. "You're a dummy. This is what you get for being so cold and thick skulled all the time like a bum. You need to actually speak up once in a while, Kairi. Otherwise, with all I've been through, I go to the worst case scenario." A few tears slipped out of her eyes before she brushed them away with her finger, looking to the backapck again. "Wanna see something cool? Even though i complain about Reno thinkin' I can't learn any of his cool stuff, he made me this back after you left. My own laptop, just like I wanted." She pulled the aforementioned piece of technology out of her backpack before showing the background as a photo of her, Kairi, and Reno together.

Kains lanky legs strut the hallways of Snagem HQ, this Maze still confuses Kain to the day. Doesn't help his lacking of sight in the well lit corridors, he still turns off a switch on occasions. Red illuminated eyes shine in the dark, the red tinge's the walls. a younger snagem member is trying to creep past kain, leabing the boy with a kind smile and a nod putting the child at ease, the child mentions how Dante is looking for Kain. rubbing his arm Kain is reminded of his lacking of coat and hat, it saddens him ever so lightly. With a quickening speed Kain finds himself in the main hall, and a familiar face sitting on a red leather chair waiting. placing his slender fingers on Dante's shoulder, Kains tongue spins "hey there, I have be told you wanted my audience?"
