Opal made her way to where the magical melody was coming from. She wasn't sure why it was calling out to her, but it was so beautiful. She had to know where it was coming from. A small fog slowly wrapped around her, making her a little uneasy. "Where am I?" She murmured, hearing someone calling out to her in a small voice. "Opal...." It continued to call out to her. She didn't know what it was... but if it was making that beautiful music, it couldn't be that bad, could it?

Silver's ears stood up on end, it was like a wash of evil moving over top of them, but it was coming from below. "If it's Helios... No Lisaya, I'm not leaving your side for a second. You're still weak from the wound that he gave you!" Silver said, standing firmly at her friends side.

April had already darted off when Endymion had taken her father's arm. She would be able to make it to the village before Endymion rose from his magical puddle transportation. She sensed the evil presence, however she took no notice. She wanted to see the village that her father told her so much about.

Larken paused outside Lisaya's door. He could hear Silver speaking inside. He almost walked right in, but something made him hesitate. The blonde girl- Silver called her Lisaya- was obviously weak. Silver herself was intimidating, but... Sighing quietly, Larken poised his knuckles and rapped the door. "May I come in?" he muttered uncharacteristically. If Shira were here, she'd laugh so hard...

(Probably won't be on for the next day or so because of Yom Kippur- unless I get sick. Then I can eat my fill. Earliest will be in the break of services tomorrow or after them tomorrow night.)

Vaati groggily opened his eyes and stretched. He had a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach that he could find words to describe, but he had a feeling that something was going to happen. He stood up and stumbled forward, but he began running once he found his footing. The mage ran to Josline's tent and peaked inside, but Opal was no where in sight. That was odd... wasn't she supposed to be watching her?

"Shadow, you know I'm sexy. Admit it!" Darious chuckled as he caught Shadow's punch, then twisted his arm back and forced him to the ground. "But if you refuse to see things our way, then I suppose I'm just going to have to... lecture you, won't I?" The shadow mumbled as he threw his fist into Shadow's stomach.

"Opal..." The voice called out again, it was much clearer than it was before. The fog became thicker and thicker. She blinked seeing a figure ahead of her. "O-oh! Wait, no don't go!" The music was starting to become static and unclear as she made her way to the figure. Her eyes widened when she saw Vaati standing among the fog. "... V-vaati? What are you doing here?" She called out, but he just beacon her to follow him. "Wait!!!" She called out, tripping over the hem of her dress after him.

Silver ears perked up when Larken asked to come in. "Fine, enter... but don't make any unnecessary moves..." Silver said, standing up near Lisaya, she promised to protect her... and she would, no matter what the cost.

Larken pushed the door open and walked in. Silver stood next to the bed, Lisaya stretched out on it. "If I had a reason not to, I wouldn't be here," Larken explained. Instinct kept his hands well away from his sword and other weapons. "In fact, my master would be most displeased if I did not go to him immediately... but Shira's disappearance is, well... worrying," he admitted. There. He said it. He cared a little bit about his sister. "What happened to her?"

Endymion rose out of the puddle near the small village of Crydee. He let go off Arious and crossed his arms waiting for the man to lead the way.

Arious nodded and went into the woods ignoring the commotion going on in the village. He felt a strong mage in the village, but he ignored his sense to investigate the person. For now, he was going to show Endymion where his treasured eye and magic was. Soon they arrived near a little pond where his sister loved to play when they were younger. "Stand back a little.." Endymion simply nodded and took a few steps back.

The villager shook his head. "Look... I am not here to aid you on your quest..." He then stopped feeling two great magics appear out of nowhere. "You may just get your wish sir.."

Lisaya looked up at Larken. "Why do you hide your feelings... I can feel that that you care for your sister..." Lisaya closed her eyes, feeling the energy grow stronger...

Liam looked at Shira. Did you not ask me to show you Larken's master? He lives deep within here... But the magic is very powerful. He then suddenly stopped feeling someone approach. He grabbed Shira's arm and teleported them away. They appeared in a different black room, except this one had a blue candle lit. "Sorry... someone was coming..."

Tris laughed and shook her head. Darious was being a little confident... But she didn't mind. Things were quite entertaining...

Shadow gasped as Darious began beating him in the gut. "Enough... damn it... You've already cracked a few bones..." He coughed up blood and tried not to loose his stomach. Darious was very strong...

The man turned in the direction of the two mages. "That is all. I thank you for your information." He turned once again to make a quick bow, and then headed off to the forest to find out who was there. He motioned for Kazelina to follow as well. The man knew better than to leave her in a village which thought she was a spy from a distant land.

Shira didn't answer for a few moments, because she was trying to sort things out in her head. "Y-you're lying," she whispered finally. "He isn't... he can't..." It would have explained exactly why she hadn't found him for four years. But she had assumed that Liam was lying. She still didn't trust anyone. He was lying. He had to be. She couldn't face it if he wasn't- it meant that four long years of hard work, sacrifice, and seeing people die in front of her had all gone to waste. "You're lying," she repeated.

Larken felt his face grow a little warmer. Was he embarrassed about caring for his sister? No... he would likely get in trouble for feeling sympathetic for the target. But he didn't think of her as a target anymore. Why? What was this... force inside him that was so against hunting Shira any longer? It had started back in Zaltuthe Ruins... Damn that Kaze. "Don't be foolish," Larken replied. "Why would I care for Shira?" The words stung him.

April leaped onto the roofs of the village, reaching it just after her father and Endymion appeared. She crouched down, seeing them at the pond, but kept her distance so the magic from her father wouldn't kill her. She looked down seeing two figures approaching them at a fast pace. "No... if they approach now, Endymion might not be able to get his magic back." She whispered under her breath. She jumped down and put a barrier up around the pond so no one could approach... at least not yet.

Opal continued to follow after the Vaati in the fog. She was still unsure if this was truly Vaati, or if this was just an illusion. She looked around seeing the fog growing thicker. She wasn't sure but she felt like the fog was starting to restrain her.

Silver looked over at Larken, sitting down when Lisaya spoke softly to him. She could feel the presence underneath them. She was still unsure about it, but she couldn't leave Lisaya's side... no matter what it was, she wouldn't abandon her again.

(Hey, think we can move Diel, Ebony and Co. down to Kakariko? Major character development is going down. XDD).

Taka was frustrated. Whenever he went for a monster, Eve managed to beat him to it - and she was horribly brutal to boot.
Left, right.
In front, in back.
Taka felt dizzy. No matter which way he turned, he couldn't land a single blow. Eve was deceptively fast.

Reaching his boiling point, Taka could finally take no more. He used his fire magic to propel himself forward, darting straight at a monster that was a good thirty feet away in the back of the assault. A small smile curved on his lips as Taka realized not even Eve could catch up to this.
He was wrong.

Taka tried to move, last minute, to avoid crashing into Eve, who had already landed a blow on his hobgoblin. Taka ended up crashing into the side of a cliff. Slowly, he pulled himself up. Luckily there wasn't any damage. At least, not any serious damage. A sprained wrist and a bruised leg. Taka could still fight.

By the time he picked himself up, the monsters had all turned to dust. Eve was nowhere to be found.

Eve slowly waved back and forth as she walked in an alley way in the back of Kakariko. She had exhausted herself from battle.
Wearily, her mind raced.
Weak... weak...
"N-... no... Must... Must protect..."
Eve knelt down, her back to the wall of the house she was near. She nodded into an uneasy sleep.

Arious closed his eyes and began chanting. the water on the lake started rippling as the water began to turn purple with his magic. Then suddenly two large double doors began to rise out of the water. Sweat poured down Arious' face as little purple steeping stones appeared on the pond.

Endymion watched Arious as he got chills. There was a lot of power in this spell... He didn't even think he could break in, let alone find a magic dwelling such as this. Once the man was completely, Endymion stepped forward to follow Arious.

Lisaya blinked slowly trying to take it easy. "I don't know your name... but I am sure that she loves you as a sister should... I don't know what i would do without Arious... or Silver..."

Milamber looked about then suddenly disappeared from in front of Rugen. It was almost like he floated though the floor. Rugen looked about and shook his head not knowing what to do. He could feel the presence growing in strength...

Liam suddenly paled. "This isn't good..." He paced back and forth then brushed his silvery blonde hair back. How could they have known...? I played the part so well... He took Shira's hands. "Listen... I have to get you out of here..."

Lisaya

Silver gave a soft smile towards Lisaya, however the evil presence was growing even stronger. It was making her head throb and a piercing pain in her stomach. She quickly muttered a link spell, a small gold chain wrapping around her wrist and Lisaya's before vanishing. It was the only way to make sure she never left Lisaya's side, no matter if whatever was coming... closer and closer.

April watched her father preform magic... something she hasn't been able to watch for a long time. She remembered when she was a child before the curse of the Black God... her father would preform magic before her eyes. Now... everytime he had to use magic, he had to make sure April wasn't in the room... or close by. For the link between April and Arious was through their magic, she had half of his magic when he died... she was now the container of the worlds most powerful magic. That's why her mother warned her not to go to school. If she was found out... they would have had her taken away... turning her into a weapon. Her heart throbbed at the pain, however it wasn't as bad as when Shira had his magic... it was contained, and more controlled. However, it was still tugging at her magic, making her sick to her stomach.

Opal felt a tug, everywhere the fog wrapped around her. She heard voices in her head, one of them was her father. "No! Papa's in heaven! This has to be a dream!" She screamed, suddenly seeing the fog fade and shadows creeping in. They were wrapped around her wrists and ankles, they were taking hold of her, positioning her for a strange creature approaching. She screamed before closing her eyes, preparing for the worst. However nothing came. All she heard was screeching, and a light underneath her eyelids. It grew brighter before she looked down, seeing a mark on her arm that glowed light blue. It looked like the creature was terrified of it, and was turning back. The shadows dispersed before leaving her in a field.
