He didn't want to leave her but he needed to eat. He slipped out from her and kissed her cheek softly and went downstairs.

she curled up in to a tight ball
she looked up as Jack came down stairs "how's she taking it?"

He smiled a little. "She's getting used to it....." He went to the fridge and took out some blood. "Is it cool if she stays here for a while?" He asked as he got it into a mug and put it into the microwave.

she nodded "yeah, sure" she smiled "I don't see a problem with that, it's just us and you're father here now"

"we'll try not to" she smiled softly "but technically we're still teenagers ourselves" she giggled a little and moved so she was snuggled in to Kent's arms "un like you and the others... your aunt and uncle as well as us... we never age"

she smiled "alight, we'll be out on the patio if you need us" she smiled and took Kent's hand, leading him outside
