I see that as a way to fund white hipsters' vacation to Africa.
I agree with bringing Kony down...just not like this. Liking a facebook status and sending children over to raise awareness won't solve anything. The only thing that's going to end this is a bullet.

The only thing that's going to end this is a bullet. they aren't really heading over to africa, the video was to promote awareness to what the world doesn't know about him, and to raise awareness to the politics and famous people so they can spread the word. The whole point of this is to show the government that we care about what is going on so that they can keep our support troops there to help guide the uganda army and others to capturing him. The person who posted teh vid goes there and reports whats going on there as a living. Not to say he doesn't have a passion for the people of uganda.

The organization (I presume that this is Invisible Children) stopped by our school some time ago. Bunch of hipsters go over there trying to "live the life of the children". The political aspect knows about this, but most governments are more concerned about their own issues than trying to stop an insane warlord. The US economy is already a PoS, the government isn't going to want to use troops unless its advantageous to us too...not just from a morality standpoint.
