Deity, if it's common psionics, even at a high level of power - it would still be muddled. It'd have to be something of a kinesis type, or something that manipulates an outer force and not a signal giving part of the body such as nerve endings or the mind - or, it could be ruined by what I gave.
Insanity's distortion on the brain cannot be measured and is, far as modern science can infer, 'random' in full effect, so we couldn't be sure if it'd effect psionics at all or no. And that wouldn't stop the abilities from effecting the nerves.

Fierce is crazy...but he is also stupid strong...too strong. Considering that Deity has only entered a single character, and he has little defense against a few powers, if Clash said he wouldn't mind letting Deity tear through people as Fierce...heeee might enter him. < <; It'd be awesome if he wound up against Dagon...but many of his other fights would be rather boring.
...but Fierce's pretty crazy. Read his mind all you want...you might even find gardening tips... =D

No longer shall my tulips wilt.
And I say insanity is no firm defence against psionics, but if you have an ability that grants insanity to others well then psionic users be damned to be reduced to holding themselves as they weep.
Hmm, I think I'll make it so everything that tries to read Quin's mind feels like they're looking into a vast abyss of white, no shadows, no conception of any mass. With the sound of static in the back ground.

While the flaming eyes are cool on your sorta-Ippo sig, Omi, I still like the whole "luck-o'-the-Irish" thing they get in the series when their eyes glow green. xd

Or they could just look like they get murdered, like when Miyata does Jolt Counter on Jimmy Sisfa. Sisfa gets a bunch of teeth knocked out, blood spurts out of his mouth, and then he lands face-down in a halo of blood while the ref counts. xd

Personally, I didn't really care for Magic's storyline until Onslaught and Scourge came up. Urza and Gerard have to be among the gayest characters ever.
Also it's not much of a stretch to be killed by Squee. The guy never dies, even during planeshift.
