wow! was all Kayla could say. the place was great but she just couldnt get past wondering where the wooden stuff is from.

All the girls made there way to the house, dragging Jaye along as well, banishing Chase back to his house. "we need to pick up a few things before we head of to the bacherloret (sp?) party!" She smiled then pointed to April. "To young"
"aww!! SO UNFAIR!" she let out a pout and crossed her arms. "I'd rather be with John anyway..."

((If I have a bridal bash (hen party w/e) it would be such that anyone of any age could attend, as i do not drink, have no interest in strippers... actually I think going to a spa would rock.))

John got to his locker.after goin to a class to finish a project his group was to lazy to finish, he grabed things out of his locker and started to walk home

Veronica lept out over the water using her wings to kep her from landing in it, and semi-flew over to the island, when she got there she pushed on of the boats off the island, and it drifted over to the shore. "You can always get to the island without some one who can fly, cause the boats will stay on the other side. This is not a very special place, and I remember it from now."
(if you look closely at the carved wood, it seems to be carved with maybe Mayan figures, Jaguar like cats topping the posts in a guardians pose.)

Kayla hopped into the boat Veronica do you know where all of these wood cravings came from or were they here when you found thins place? Kayla couldnt help being in awe of this place. it was so pretty.

Veronica, trailing her fingers in the water as the boat skimmed its way back to the island replied "This place is really new, and lots of people know about it, it used to be no one would come here because its a regular place. Anyone can see it if they look. The carvings are recent, they weren't here yesterday."

hmmmm. hold on Kayla pulled out her social studies text book from her backpack and flip to the ancient cultures chapter. she flipped through a few pages and stopped at a picture of similar idols and woodwork. they seem to be mayan. i wonder what they're doing here.

Veronica shrugged "I wouldn't know." she giggled as one of the giant fish in the lake came up to nibble on her fingers.

The boat scrapped gently on the shore of the island Veronica hopped out and skipped along the shore, the large fish that had nibbled on her finger jumped out of the water and sent a large splash rippling their way, Veronica danced back from the edge of the water as it threatened her toes.

Veronica stood next to a large guardian carving and pulled a face "looks just like me doesn't it!"
