She crossed her arms and frowned at him. She glared at him for a bit, before asking, "Why do you smell a bit like a vampire? Been hanging out with one?"

Shadow was merely passing by on the sidewalk, finding it to be quite a coincidence that he would run into any other demons. One look at the situation told him that there might be trouble, so he started walking a bit slower.
He nodded silently as he passed from behind her, glancing warily at the other demon, recognizing him as one of the elders.

"Hey Shadow." Neko said, half-waving at him. "And maybe it should be my buisness, with all your talk about the night-brethren never getting along." She walked over to him and caught his scent again. "Hmm...a FEMALE vampire Zei? Hmm, what have you been doing. Wait a minute..." Neko's jaw dropped. "I can't beleive you! You and...and her? Oh goodness..."

Shadow ceased walking at this, becoming very curious, as well as wanting to size Zei up. He had never actually met the domon before, and didn't know what sort of behaviour he might be prone to.

Zei scratches the back of his head and looks about. "Actually, I haven't seen her about in ages, I'd like to. And no I wasn't doing anything with the vampire, just talking."

He stepped out of the tall building, leaning against a wall as he surveyed the city street. A light wind brushed his hair across his face. Favorite type of weather... he thought to himself, standing straight and beginning down the sidewalk, humming with a light Italian accent.

"Not from how you smell." Neko countered, stabbing a finger into his chest. "And her of all vampires? The only way to go worse would be doing that with Ea or Tsunami! And you say what I want is weird." She frowned at him. "And this scent from a demon who says love is useless."

Shadow's eyebrow raised in surprise. He had never seen Neko at all angry before, and she was really getting steamed. It was enough to make him more curious as to how this would turn out.

"Well you're the last demon I'd expect to be making out with Rikku, head of the vampire death dealers." Neko said, really glaring now. She looked thought ful for a moment as she said, "Well, there was that one time I saw Meph kiss her, but he's always been weird like that..."

Continuing down the sidewalk, his eyes were kept downcast in thought, a simple oriental fan inbetween his fingers, flicking it open and shut. "I really need to keep up on the events of the city more often. Feh..."

Shadow's eyes narrowed slightly at Zei's last statement, not exactly sure what the demon might be implying. He remained still and silent though, as Zei had apperently not yet noticed him.
