Ember growled but did nothing. Even though she hated to atem was right. It wouldent do her any good.
"Well see ya" luci said and dissapeered.

Atem blinked in faint surprise at the sudden disappearance of their guest. Could he even call Luci that? It didn't matter. He considered taking Ember's hand, but wasn't sure if she would be mad at him for not standing up. He wouldn't blame her if she was mad. He sat back down in the chair, watching her in anticipation.

Ember sighed saddly and sat down. Reaching over she gently grasped atem's hand.

"You feeling okay?" Atem asked, looking somewhat concerned. He squeezed Ember's hand back gently.

Atem nodded, examining Ember's hand. Kawi would be okay, he was sure. He didn't see a need to voice this, however, and allowed his mind to wander somewhat. Khalid had probably reached the mansion; he could fill Ryou in on what was going on, if Ryou cared to know. He could call them later, perhaps next morning. He was determined to stay with Ember as long as possible.

It had been a few days. Ember and atem had gone back to there appartment and vistedwhen they could. It was early in morning when there was a knock on yugi's door.

Yugi was exhausted, both mentally and physically. Ever since the incident with the demon, he had been utterly unable to get a good night's sleep. The knock made him jump in alarm, but since he wasn't asleep he didn't take very much time to hasten to the door, opening it up a crack. "Hello?"

A smilecame from the other side of the door "Hi!" kawi said "Guess who got relised from the hospital this mornin?" she asked.

Yugi's eyes widened in shock and joy at the sight of Kawi. He flung the door open and threw his arms around her. "Kawi! I'm so glad to see you!" He cried, along with a little more exclamations that were hard to understand. He finally pulled away. "You were released? Are you sure? You didn't sneak away, right?"

Kawi squeeked and hugged him back "No they released me. They even gave me a pair of sweats and a shirt to leave in..there dull and itchy but there clothes...Can I come inside?"

"What? Oh, of course!" Yugi flushed pink at this request, in embarrassment. "You know you don't have to ask me for that. Have you told Atem and Ember? Ember was so worried about you. She'll want to hug on you too." He shuffled further into the apartment, to give Kawi room to enter.

Kawi smiled "Not yet..I dont dare wake up ember..." Kawi walked in and sat on the couch "Yugi..." she said after a while "What...What happen to me? Everything is such a blurr...."
