Dani was stunned into silence. Guess the wedding wasn't so great for everyone. She really didn't know what to say to Cassie to make her feel better. Nor what she could possibly say or do to Wally to ease his broken heart. It just felt like another vicious cycle. And once again her family was breaking a part. In her own way her own heart was breaking as well...
"I-I'm sorry Cassie, this must be really hard for you. And for everyone else. And Achilles, on his wedding night of all things?"
She shook her head in sorrow. But she knew Achilles was strong. She knew although this hurt him. It's made him stronger, and that Pat was safe in the timeline.
And Jen had her friend in Karen, who wasn't the best role model but sure knew how to throw a party. Karen would have Jen back at the dating field in not time. Hell they were most likely on their way to a strip club as they spoke...
But Wally... She'd both been there and done that with him. It was Dani who first broke his hear in a heated argument, and then kissed another boy in front of him. He was highly sensitive and It would take time for him to heal, despite his speedster attitude.
"I-I'll talk to Wally. But Not really sure what I can do for him... But I'll try."
She gave Cassie a hug.
"I'm happy you and Chris are back together."
Now to mend the rest of the family

The big wrestling tournament was tomorrow still, but Wally was already back on campus. Today, all of the students from the other schools would start arriving. Most of Jedi Academy had already arrived, their starcruisers parked in the starcruiser section of the parking lot.
Since the Jedi were tasked with cleaning and prepping the gym as punishment for the winter dance 'Rancoring' incident, Wally sat on a bench outside of the girl's locker room and smirked as kids in dorky beige tunics swept the gym floor, scrubbed the bleachers and hung up posters representing each of the schools participating in the meet.
"Wally West! What're you doing here?"
Wally turned to see Kori Anders, one of Hero High's cheerleaders heading into the locker room. He gave her a grin.
"Waiting for someone. I heard the cheer squads from all the schools are going to be practicing here later today."
"Yeah, since our head cheerleader is going to be wrestling tomorrow, we want to be extra loud to cheer her on! Oh, uh..." Kory looked uncomfortable. "I heard about you and Cassie...I'm sorry."
"Don't be." Wally grinned and checked Kori out over his shades. "There's plenty of Wally to go around."
"Ah, ha! Wally, you're so funny!" Kori gave him a squishy hug and headed into the locker room. Other girls filtered in...
Jedi Academy's "Rouge Squadron," led by Padme Amidala came in, talking about, what else, makeup...
Masters of the University's "Princesses of Power," (which seemed sort of sad because they had one guy on the squad) was led by Princess Adora...
Toonami Tech's "Bishojo Senshi Sailor Soldier Squad" all filtered in wearing matching sailor-like uniforms...
And finally, Monster High's Fearleading Squad. Wally gave them a wave. Clawdeen Wolf stopped in her tracks and raised an eyebrow at him.
"Well, hello there mister 'won't-give-me-the-time-of-night-at-the-wedding!'" She put her manicured claws on her waist and gave him a playful bit of attitude. "NOW I suddenly rate some attention, huh?"
"What can I say, I screwed up. This is the time of my life to have fun, and you're a girl who wants to have fun. I'm sorry for snubbing you. Peace?"
Clawdeen gave him a dubious look, then softened into a smile. She took his hand and shook it.
"Peace. And maybe a little more if you agree to take me out after Fearleading practice. I've been craving one of those "That Fifties Diner" milkshakes for WEEKS."
"You got it!" Wally grinned back at her. Oh yeah. Here I am...back in the saddle again...

" Thanks Dani... As I said...it's both good and bad. Anyways who knows? Maybe the fustration will help Jen in the wrestling meet. I'm going to find Chris and let him know what's happening. We should head back to Midvale today since the wrestling meet is tomorrow"
Cassie waved to Dani and walked over to Chris's room. She had to tell him about Achilles, Pat, and Wally.

*Chris rolled over in bed. It was a long trip back to campus and he was tired. Coach Cage and Rogers wanted him and Achilles to stop by sometime after the wrestling tournament which was annoying. What did he do now? Oh well...guess we'll find out.
There was a knock at the door and Chris rolled out of bed. He yawned and stretched before opening the door. He instantly grinned.*
Cassie! Come in!

"Yeah. Wrestling Awesome."
That was on thing to look forward to! Sitting next to Scandal and Cheering on her friends.
"I'll see you at school then."
She waved bye to her then went off to find Linda.

Jen had finally got back with Karen and Mystia, who hadn't been too happy about her weight but the elephant had put up with it, especially when half way Jen remembered and shrunk back down to her smaller self.
It had been an interesting flight and Jen had recalled her own rampage with an elephant and told Karen all about it. One of the many reasons she was on strict orders with her cousin not to get into any more. She tried asking Karen about the Wrestling club, she'd never really considered joining any clubs but now it did seem like a good idea. They got back and Jen had been shocked to see that dorm changes had been made, starting soon.
"No way...Karen...we're going to be in different rooms!" Jen said. "You're going to have to meet up with me everyday! It's not going to be the same!"

" Hey Chris. Hope you don't mind me stopping by... Anyways I've really been worried about Achilles. Right after the wedding the gods decided to take Pat back to his own time."
Cassie stepped in and sat down on Chris's bed.
" As for Wally he knew about us getting back together before I even told him. He broke up with me before I got a chance to say anything. Oh well I guess it's all for the best. Anyways I really shouldn't be here... Coach Rodgers is sure to get on at me about slacking the day before the meet."
Cassie smiled at Chris she knew in addition to wrestling Coach Rodgers also coached the baseball team so Chris knew all to well how he could be.

Pat is gone? Aw...poor Achilles!
*That's horrible. Maybe Coach Cage and Rogers had heard about it and that what this invite was all about.*
I wish I could the guy.
*Chris sighed.*
Wally may have been my fault. I talked to Jen pretty early. Maybe he heardit from her or Karen. She took it better than I thought. But she doesn't want to see me. I thought maybe I should be invisible at the meet. That way I can support you and Achilles and not tick her off.
And remember...being with me isn't slacking. Frost ordered me to be your practice dummy.
*Chris winked and then went into his closet. He fished a small box off a shelf and handed it to Cassie.*
So...like the ring you gave me, I'd been holding back something in the Christmas gift department. It's kinda why I've been so broke.
*Cassie opened the box to find a small, hand blown glass rose in a small bell jar. The bottom of the jar was engraved with A real rose will wilt and die but this glass rose, like my love for you, is eternal.*
I know it's sappy...but...

Cassie looked at the rose and couldn't help but smile. She then closed the box and hugged Chris and kissed him.
" I love it. It's perfect... and you as my training dummy would... well might give me some dirty thoughts."
Cassie winked at Chris. This was great... just like old times...
" As long as your at the meet. I know it might sound bad but I think everything that's happened might help Jen and Achilles at the meet. Anger can be a great motivator."

Jen had moved rooms with much reluctance but she was glad she was with someone she knew. It had taken her a day to get used to school again and now she was in a hard practice with Coach Rogers who was making her wrestle with a robot. She'd already broken 10 of them and they were piling up.
"No, you can't use that move! It's illegal!"
"You mean I can't pile drive!" Jen moaned. "What's the point of Wrestling if I can't use a clothes line or use a Pile Drive?"
"This is WREASTLING!" Coach Rogers snapped. "Get in position and try again."
"These are just too weird." Jen moaned but continued with her practice. She really wanted to sneak in a chair and try jumping from the ropes...this sort of wasn't as fun.

Really? Mr. Rogers always says anger leads to mistakes. But...he's usually talking about when you're running a team. I guess if it helps Jen win, I'll show my face. But...I'm worried about Achilles. Will he be angry or just depressed?
...
Maybe we can go find him and feed him? Food always makes him happy.

::Clark sat at his desk and straightened it up. The dance with Lois had been awesome! She barely talked about Superboy. Maybe she was finally getting into him!
Unfortunately, that was about to be in jeopardy. Clark just received an application from a new student for a position as a reporter. Linda Park. Hm. Her writing was good. Very good. But how would Lois react when he brought Linda in.::
She's gonna blow her top.
::Clark dropped his head to the desk and put a large dent into it. Oops. He hadn't done that in a while!::

No, no they can't. But I know Achilles is hurting and he needs us. And we have to start somewhere. right? I'll even let him practice on me in the armor if he wants.
So, why don't get started right now? He can slam me around the gym for a while and then we can order a pizza or something.

Linda's plane finally landed in Midvale. She caught a cab and went to the hero High campus. She took her bags to her dorm where she was suppose to be rooming with a girl named Karen Starr.. She hoped that she was nice. Anyways Linda brought her stuff to her room and set things up. She then sat down at her desk and went on her computer... the head of the newspaper was a guy by the name of Clark Kent. Hmm... it would be best if she could stay on his good side.
