Nadea smiled back at Cassidy, "Its indescribable...oh and Shadow. Don't even ask what the child is going to be...because i'm not telling either of you. Oh its going to be a surprise!!" she laughed and then cut herself off short as the child stirred in her arms and sniffled before drifting off back to sleep. "I'll be right back...i'm going to go put him to bed." she whispered as she got up and padded lightly out and up to her room. Once there she placed Gabriel down on her bed and tucked him, she smiled and kissed his forehead, her eyes getting all watery. "Dmitri...i want you to watch him, if he so much as cries out you better call me." she said sternly to her cat who jumped up on the bed and curled up next to the boy. She scratched his ears and smiled before making her way back down to the dinning room.

Shadow returned the kiss. He was glad that Cassidy was taking it this way and no other way. "Yes we have done it." he said with a smile. This was the happiest he had ever seen her and wished he had a camera on him so he could capture the look on her face. He couldn't belive that he was going to have another child and then his thoughts began to wander, he wondered how his other children would deal with this. "I won't ask Nadea, I don't want to know until the time comes."

Cassidy smiled at Nadea, she loved the woman like a sister. SHe turned back to Shadow and giggled and said, "Won't ask Nadea what?" She frowned and said, "Shadow, do you promise to love this child? No matter what?" She couldn't believe it, she had another life, growing inside her, that she and Shadow had created together. Suddenly she drew in a sharp breath. She realized that this child had been created outside of marriage, and she bit her lip hard, causing it to bleed.

"I am not going to ask her what the child is going to be. Nadea has a suprisingly good nack for figuring these things out." Shadow said as he smiled at Cassidy, that smile quickly disapeared when he saw Cassidy frown. "I will love our child no matter what happens. Nothing is going to stop me from doing that Cassidy, nothing." he said in a deadly serious tone that was mirrored in his eyes. It had just ocured to Shadow that he had been putting off the bond for far to long now. He had ment to do it last night but he got a little carried away with other things. He waited before he said anything, he didn't want to push Cassidy from this moment too soon.

Nadea smiled and chuckled softly, "The sex of the child Cassidy...i'm not telling you if its a boy or a girl." she smiled entering the room once more to sit in her chair. She lit up a cigarette and watched her two best friends.

Cassidy smiled and pressed her lips to his forehead. "That's all I ask," she whispered, ignoring the bond factor for now. She stroked his face, she was radiating with happiness. She looked to Nadea and her eyes widened, "You won't?" she whispered breathlessly. She smiled and then clapped her hands as she said in delight, "Oh how I love suprises!" She smiled at Nadea, she couldn't believe her good fortune with her friends. She loved them so much. EDIT

Shadow allowed his smile to apear once more. "I love you, Cassy." he said. His life had just got even better. The beast was gone, Cassidy had come back from her coma and now a child was to be born from the woman he loved. Nothing else mattered to Shadow now with this news, not the war, not Lilith, nor the daemons.

Shadow didn't know what else to do in this situation. His mind started to rush with things and preperations that had to be made. "Looks like Vickilyn is going to be helping the both os us pick stuff up for when our child arrives. Unless Nadea would care to assist us?" he said to the both of them.

Nadea twitched and got a pained expression on her face, she quickly righted herself and got up. "Excuse me...i have something.....i have a prior appointment to uhmm keep." she smiled quickly and avoided eyes as she darted out of the room and into the night, her dark hair streaming out behind her as she was almost pulled in the direction of the mausoleum. "Damn you Azrael...." she mumbled as she dodged trees and limbs as she was suddenly being dragged by an invisible force. She was dragged straight into the mausoleum and stopped in the center of the circle on the floor. The large angelic figure of Azrael loomed over her. "What do you want..." Nadea said acidly.

Shadow picked up Cassidy ad took her to their room. He lay her in the bed and then left. He wandered back down to the dinning roo and sat in his chair once more.

Azrael leaned over her even more, she could smell his rank breath and if she had anything to throw up she would've. He pressed his face next to hers, his cheek touching the soft skin of her face. "I want you of coursssse..." he grinned sadistically and he began to force himself upon her. "No you don't Azrael...." she yelled as she tried to push him off of her, she snapped and finally punched him hard, breaking his jaw. She shook her fist out, her knuckles were bloody. "Oh....that wasss not a ssssssmart move m'dear." he growled and gripped her wrists, forcing them above her head. "If you don't give yourssself to me....i will have no other choice but to kill little Gabriel. You wouldn't want that would you?" He grinned widely, knowing he had won. A few tears leaked from her eyes as she turned her head to the side and whispered, "No..." she surrendered to him without another word.

Shadow felt somehting, a change in the winds of magic. More precisly Shyesh, the wind of death. That made him uneasy. He knew from experiance that whatever made Shyesh still like this could not be good. He had no way of knowing what had happened or who could be causing this terrible change in the winds. He just hoped it was keeping far away form the mansion. He didn't even consult the wind to find out a rough distance. He just tried to keep calm and kept his eyes open.
