Oh yeah, I've been out of school a long time. That's because they dropped me like a stone. A's in a whole bunch of classes, "hey, you're not rich." And all of the sudden I was no longer going there.
Yes I was laid off. but so were about 1000 other employees across the country. Now if you want to get any satisfaction you need to deal with the Philippines. I'm hoping nobody ever buys anything from sears...EVER.
I've never came to work with a hangover either...if it's any consolation.

*sighs* Another story about jobs going out of country. *concern* My dad works at a foundry, and it's suddenly going down hill and there's talk of the company building a plant down in Mexico. It's scary....
So, where you planning on working next?

Mm.....ya.... though Min wage is higher now, at least in wi, it's like 7 somthing. I"m kinda in the same boat as soon as september rolls around I"m outta a job.
Well, even a min wage job is better than no job at all. It's awkward to try and explain big gaps in employment to a perspective employer. I think I've managed to have continuous employment since highschool, albeit one job failed to give me work for 5 months, I was still trying my hardest, and I never actually quit there. A solid work history is good, even if your awsome jobs are punctuated with DQ Grill and Chill and Burger King. It shows you have good work ethic.
