He laughs slightly. "Well I could chance it and come back, you'll need the help with the Demons that wander the streets of New York these days. It's not like I can't handle myself against Meph." Ze istretches his arms and yawns.

"The rumors about the uprising. Due to certain promises, I have no choice but to stay neutral during the confrontation, which means helping neihter side. Even so, I cannot let the demons be truly leaderless if Meph has truly gone." She gave him an unblinking stare.

Zei growls and drops his arms to his side, his hands clenched to fists. "An Demon uprising?! Not in my lifetime! I'll kill anyone who tries such a thing. Who's involved in it?" He keeps his eyes locked onto hers.

Her stare went icy, as did her voice. "Not just demons, and if you kill the leader, I'll have to kill you."

"I know for sure one person who is involved, though I can make a pretty educated guess on some others. And I won't tell you who the leader is. Certain promises remember? And that one runs deeper than the loyalty I have to the demon populus." She shruged. "Besides, all they want to do bring peace between the night-brethren. And is that such a bad thing?"

"Yes, it is! It's already been tried, thousands of years ago and it failed! It's too far down the line to try again, all races are too paranoid about each other. They don't trust each other and they don't want an alliance with each other. This uprising is for a lost cause." He looks up at the sky. "Well don't tell me who the leader is, give me your educated guesses."

"If I tell you my eduated guess, that'll probably tell you who the leader is. Sorry, but you'll have to do that little bit of reconnicense on your own." She looked away, almost pouting. "I only told you in the first place so that the demons woudn't be compltely unprepared. Not to tell who I know or think is in on the rebellion. Besides, thousands of years ago isn't now. What may have worked then may not work now, and what may not have worked then may worked now. Just becuase soemthing's always been one way deosn't mean it can't be changed for the better."

She grabbed for his arm, hoping to stop him for a moment. "I told you, I'm neutral, I won't help either side if I can. But you remember this. Kill the leader, and I WILL kill you, promise or not."

He laughs then continues walking. "Maybe I won't kill him, maybe I'll just beat him so close enough to death that he'll even think of the mortals as superiors."
