"Okay." Atem said, resting his cheek against Ember's head. He glanced over at his hikari, who was sitting across from them, staring blankly at the ground. Atem knew it was hopeless to talk either of these two into leaving for a little while, so the best decision would be to keep quiet and hope Kawi turned out okay.

Yugi looked up at Ember, his eyes taking a moment to focus. He nodded dully, his mouth set into a tiny little frown. "I'll be fine."

"Alright...im going to go find a doctor." Ember said getting up and walking off. A while later she came back. You could tell she was angery. Everybody could tell she was pissed.

"... I want to wring there little necks!" Ember said angerly.
"You might as well. Your going to hell anyways." Luci said appering beside her.
"What do you want?!?" ember yelled.
"Well I thought I'd let you know I injected her with the wrong thing..I should really read what I put into people...." Luci said.
"Well WHAT DID YOU PUT IN HER!?!" Ember yelled.
"Oh im still not telling you..." luci smiled.
Ember cracked her knuckles giving him a look that could kill.

"Ember!" Atem snapped; he didn't want her to try and fight the demon. Because, well, he was a demon. There was no way she would be able to do anything, and would only risk getting hurt instead. "Calm down. Just... just ignore him." Atem felt a sharp pang go through him, even as he said it. He had changed so much over the most recent years, and probably not in a good way. When he was pharaoh, and hell, when he was watching over Yugi in high school, he was the one always demanding fights for revenge. Now he was telling his girlfriend to ignore the thing that almost killed her best friend? He felt sick.

"She had a point. Im not very ignore-able" Luci said
"YOU SHUT YOUR TRAP!" Ember yelled at luci who just smirked.

"He's just trying to get you mad." Atem said, but his confidence in his own argument was wavering. He could remember all the times Bakura had baited him into a pure rage, just like this. "But do what you want. Go ahead."
