*Alex ran back into the main room and came to a halt. He stoop, eyes wide at the sight of Cora, draining all the blood out of her arm. Alex turned quite pale, and the irony that when Cora needed cereal, she had gotten Apple Jacks never would hit him, because right then and there he fainted dead away*

:::She was so out of it that she only realized Alex was back in the room the moment she heard a 'thud':::
Alex...!
:::She called out, but she really couldn't move. She had to let the rest of the blood drain. Cora realized that he must have fainted at the site. She sighed heavily, and hung her head. Further ashamed of the situation:::

*Alex moaned. He was coming to, but still disoriented. He began to mumble*
no... cora don't... you're bleeding... i didn't mean... someone... help..

Alex...? Alex, it's alright. :::She reassured, just in case he could hear her:::
:::She let the last bit of blood trickle out, and turned the arm over. The Orange light had turned blue. Cora pressed another couple buttons and closed up the latch. Finally, she removed herself from the sink, but her arms was still not functioning:::
Alex?
:::Cora walked down and knelt by him. Eventually, she was satisfied with the way he was breathing, and she reached over for the box of cereal with her free hand, opened it and began to eat:::

*Alex's eyes opened and he looked at Cora, his eyes still not quite focused. He smiled*
You're not dead... I was scared..
*Alex suddenly frowned*
You're gonna ruin your appetite if you eat that. I... I made you a whole... a whole meal of apples.
*Alex closed his eyes again and winced*
Cora. I.. think I hit my head.

:::She appreciated his touch, but had her functional arm bussied with the cereal, so she could not reciprocate. Instead she leaned her face toward his hand:::
The arm shut off it's own circulation as soon as the cells detected a foreign chemical. But I had to release the contaminated blood before reintroducing it into my circulatory system. It'll be a few hours before my body makes up for the bit I just drained... it'll be alright.
