He's talking about the supposed character roster reveal from CoroCoro magazine.

These updates are getting lame. He's picking apart the menu for each tiny part to update on. So, I think I'm going to make fun of the stupid statements Sakurai posts.

"All options are colored purple."

Wow, thanks for that Sakurai! I think he's just trying to fill up space with irrelevant comments. The options are purple! My socks are blue. The game is a disc! The disc goes in the Wii. The Wii glow is blue! That is the same colour as my socks!

"You mean I can listen to sound effects from my favorite character all I want?"

F*ck soundtracks! I wanna listen to the SFX! Put the sound of Mario jumping on repeat as I go to sleep. It's soothing..........

Really? Is this what he updates us with? o_o

Does anyone else hear someone talking under the music? Subliminal messages... o_O

I think he's trying to make everyone get all talkative and wondering and then excite us with something awesome. Perhaps it's just wishful thinking... Or maybe it's along the lines of what Suavie said a while ago, that Sakurai seems to be playing along with the CoroCoro Comics roster release.

I don't think it's really bad. It's a lot different than the Melee one, which was just "Whoa awesome" with all of the stuff hidden in the back, but this stuff isn't bad. I'd prefer Melee's, but this is alright.
xd Hell who knows, maybe we can customize that, too!

All in all, do the menus really matter that much? Are group and solo modes that big of a deal?
They can't call it one player and multiplayer because in the Subspace Emissary, you can do co-op. At least, I suspect that's why.

The Vault isn't so bad. Better than something like "Collection".

I noticed that, too. I wonder if it's even in English. I could spend forever trying to figure out what they're saying only for it to be in Japanese.

You have to give him credit for trying to spice up the bad updates. And his translator, for translating and (probably) trying to add even more spice to it.

Sidenote: I bet that if we just got the good half of a "meh" update, people wouldn't complain so much. They seem to complain more when it's a two part, and one part is good.
