I don't either, but It sounds like I do sometimes xD. Music Theory beyond Basic Major and Minor scales is beyond my reach right now.

lol. if you say so. in reality it's less knowlede, and more catching random crap while you're out of tune. most people who use it rely on the keyboard's modulation wheel, and ignore the theory behind it....and it sounds post modernist at its best...
darn typos.
good. you don't wanna know.
i am on year 1 of 16 towards a dma in composition. (which sounds so much cooler until you consider that year one means i know nothing.)

Lol, your learning though :]. It takes Sixteen years though? That's more than it takes for me to become a Radiologist and decide if people are going to live or Die xD.

yeah. a doctorate of Musical arts is comparable to being a doctor who practices medicine. i even get the title...the only difference, is that you're f'd if i try to fix you.
(actually 14 years. i'm doing community college to work up performance auditions since family issues made it impossible to practice much last year)

Lol, I don't think I could direct and Orchestra with all my years of Doctorate skills xD. Mine is Twelve just because I am taking most of the key classes in High School, such as Trig and Calc and also Anatomy and Physiology.

i would have, but when we moved to oregan we lost most musial resources. Oregon's music program...is...well....sub-par. i wanna write game and anime music. a title and a good school can open doors, especially since composition tends to be a career without safety nets.

You should so become the next Hans Zimmer xD. Yeah, and I live in Oregon as well. Most of our funding goes out to Athletics, but I guess if that's what they want, let them minimize out education. Though Portland has a wonderful Jazz Scene that I would like to get involved in.

yeah, but you need a band for that. i go to concerts...but i just moved befor last year, and everyone i've asked about a band has one. most of my friends play bass as well, which means i'm unnecessary. i write jazz though...well i write everything.
hans Zimmer is one of my marks. he always has been. him, Uematsu, and a few others with less names to them.

Well ain't this just f'ing great?! Well, I come home from school this afternoon to see if my computer still works after this thing that happened this morning, and now I have the sneaking suspision that either one or both of my 80GB Hard Drives have crashed or failed... or the Motherboard has died. I am assuming both perhaps since the monitor won't show anything at all, and the Red Light at the front of the computer tower that indicates Hard Drive Activity doesn't flash or light up at all. The thing won't even show the BIOS screen. Just freaking great since all my stuff is on my own computer.
Right now, I am on my parent's computer, and I hope my mother doesn't get mad at me for installing Oblivion on their computer (dad said it was alright, mom's side is the only one I can get into since it is the only one without a password on it).

I wouldn't bet on it being fixed, the damned thing is old as hell anyway. It only has 1.75 GB of RAM, at least my parents one has 4GB of RAM which is good, especially since my dad was the one who build my parents computer. Okay... of to install Oblivion onto parents computer and see if I get yelled at by my mother.

I have less than a Gig or Ram I'm running on, it's horrible xD. But I guess the Duel Core does something and makes a Gig. I don't know. All I know is I need more.
If you ever right something, you should let me see if I can play some of the parts, or listen to it. I could put it into Finale 2007 at school and hear it :p. Next time i'm in portland, I am so calling you and we can go to a Concert :]. As for playing in a Band, i can play Jazz Tenor and Alto as well as Clarinet, and I play Jazz bass :}
