"Huh?" Shadow was forced from his mind and back to the real world. He had forgoten where he was. "Oh, morning Cass. Sleep well I take it." he said with a smile now noticing Cassidy in the room. He scanned to room for other people that may have entered. "Hello Nadea..."

"Hey Cassidy" Abel replied, kissing Satsuki on top of her head, as he interlaced his fingers with hers. Abel had felt the emotions coming off Shadow but it seemed personal he didn't want to look like he didn't care but more of he didn't want to cause anymore trouble if there was any.

"Evening Shadow....glad to see you're awake Cassidy." Nadea smiled softly as she turned her attention back to the child, his strange blue eyes looked over at Shadow and then back to his cereal. She took another drag off her cigarette and got up to retrieve a glass of blood, coming back to sit down in her chair in front of the boy. He looked up at the glass and then at Nadea, "Mommy....whats in there?" He asked her curiously as Nadea's eyes shot up to look at him from her glass. "Well Gabe...this is mommy's food." she said hoping he'd drop the subject, but two year olds are always curious. "Can i have some?" he asked, "NO! I mean...no hunny. This is a grown up drink, you can have some when you grow up." she smiled.

Cassidy frowned deeper worrying about Shadow. She smiled at Abel and said, "Hey!"
She looked back at Shadow and breathed out a soft, "Hey." She went and leaned against his chair. She was chewing on her bottom lip in her normal nervous manner. Cassidy looked around for Nadea, the new Nadea, and flashed her a soft smile. Things seemed wrong, she didn't like the aura in the air. But then again, she had been feeling a little off for about a week. She hoped no one else noted her rapid cycling emotions, bitchy, sad, happy, romantic. She didn't get why she was acting so weird.

Shadow was more than just a little shocked when he heard a childs voice. He needed to pay more attnetion to his surroundings in the future. "So, who is this then Nadea?" he asked. He looked over to Cassidy still smiling. "You ok?" he asked her. He gestured to a servant for drinks that were as usual brought over quickly.

Cassidy nodded at Satsuki and said, "Hey there!"
Cassidy watched the child and felt tears well up in her eyes. "I-I don't know. I think so." She bit her lip in confusion and picked up the drink and guzzled it down, she was thirsty, more so than she had ever been.

Nadea was dabbing the remains of cereal and milk from the boys face when she replied, "He's my son of course...the one that i lost soo many years ago." she smiled lovingly at him as she scooped him up in her arms, "Gabriel....i want you to meet some friends of mine..." she said softly as she the child hid behind his dreadlocks, his bright blue eyes the only thing visible. "Gabriel...this is Shadow and this is Cassidy." she said as she motioned to the two with a wave of her hand. He peeked out from behind his hair to say, "Hi...nice to meet you." before he quickly hid his face in her shoulder. "He's still shy....he's only a few days old after all. Not quite used to other people." she said softly as she kissed the top of his head.

Shadows smile disapeared quickly, something was wrong. He could feel it. "Why don't you sit down and we'll get you another drink." he said as he patted the chair next to him. He then gestured once more to the servants to bring drink, lots of them.
He gave Nadea a confused look. It didn't make much sense to him. he decided to leave comments for later and just nod. "Hello there." he said with a little wave.

Cassidy blinked away her tears, and smiled at the little boy. "Hi there Gabriel." Cassidy smiled at him again at him and said, "How old are you Gabriel?" She bit her lip again, she felt like crying. She wanted to scream at herself, she needed to stop this insane rush of tears. She didn't understand why she was feeling this way. She noticed her empty glass and looked to a waiter and growled out, "O negative, now!" She jumped, shocked at the rudeness in her own voice. The glass was sent in front of her and she drained that quickly too. She turned back to Nadea and said, "So what, is, he?"

The little boy peeked out from his hair and replied, "I'm 2 days old...." He didn't seem phased at all by the woman's strange and sudden outburst, he knew he was safe with his mother. Nadea smiled and stepped a few paces back, she risked everything to get her child back and she wasn't about to lose him again. "He is human....but i can't figure out why he's growing soo fast, i mean he should still be in diapers and unable to talk." she smiled softly at the child and poked his nose with her index finger.
