Maybe Ill get banned for it, maybe not. Either way, its not going to stop me from exposing my displeasure to the chain of command. If you get banned, I am getting a petition together...or just leaving gaia.

I would find it an abuse of power if they were to ban you for speaking your piece, however, if tey backtrack and find evidence then yeah... But if it is only for that reason then I think you would be able to take them on.

But if it is only for that reason then I think you would be able to take them on. Theyd have to backtrack to page 8 or so to be able to prove (inconclusively might I add) that I violated the TOS in some way. Which means, that if I wasnt banned for it back in May, why do it now? Deleting posts? Locking the thread? Hm.

Did he just randomly show up and start warning people?

He moderates ED, particularly Political Discussion, in such a form that I have seen petitions asking to have his status removed. He showed up in my thread, started ranting about us pissing him off, deleted posts, and locked the thread. danjel ... DO NOT QUOTE POSTS THAT I HAVE TO DELETE You create more work for me when you do. When you continue to do it even as I am deleting the posts, you seriously piss me off. DON'T DO IT. This thread has been locked until I have deleted all the offending posts because certain people don't appear to be able to grasp this concept. Right. 3 people were warned, the troll, and the 2 people who decided to respond to the troll with abuse. I am reminding you that responding to someone who is breaking the rules by, yourself, breaking the rules is not acceptable on Gaia. When a moderator is sitting in the thread deleting posts it is one of those very stupid things to do that gets you quickly banned. It's like punching the guy that stole your wallet while a cop is standing there writing up the theft. DON'T DO IT. Kyle_Rayner Since no warnings were sent out until after you started ranting in my thread, I dont think thats exactly fair. We have been self-moderated to an extent here for over 940 pages. When mods feel the need to start deleting posts and sending warnings, let us know first not after, if you would please. Its hard to know what exactly is pissing you off when you tell us afterwards. We have no way of telling who is where, moderator or not, until after they post, even if they are deleting backlog.

Phoenix315 What confuses me is his analogy. Since any trolls were long since dealt with before he came. So it's more like someone takes the purse, we take it back. A couple hours later a cop wanders by and yells at us for doing his duty. At least that what it seems like to me. Exactly. Nathan Summers had a post deleted that was posted no less than two hours before danjel started ranting and deleting. Insane.
