I would be able to go to the academy and help....but theres this mexican standoff at the gates and nothing seems to ever get done

Well, the only way to resolve a Mexican standoff, is for some one to shoot.
On a side note, I just got the image of a stereotypical Mexican with a sombrero on holding up a hand sign surrounded by others doing the same.
