Celeblin Galadeneryn I should clarify the Aurelian thing. Aurelian is the one said to have started it by ancient sources. Kind of like how ancient sources say Rome wasn't inhabited before 753 BC. And they're really the only source we have on that being the right date. And as far as Rome goes, we have archaeological evidence that certain hills were inhabited as far back as 1000 BC. As for DNSI, we have no evidence besides an author or two to say that Aurelian originated the festival. My understanding was that we did have evidence that stated Elagabalus had a Summer festival dedicated to his god, and that Aurelian revamped the celebration at a later date to be a winter solstice festival.

That's conjecture. We know he reformed the cult of Sol Invictus, we know he instituted a new set of games in his honour, we don't know what day he did it on. Later on authors said "but of course, the 25th of December". We don't have any literary evidence from the right time period which says he did. Hijmans suggests he did it in summer, and it's the best actual evidence we have. Unfortunately, most of Hijmans' work is in German.

True Colours of Destiny I really see no problem with Google scanning all books that have their copyright expired. See, after 50 (7 in some places) years after the original author has died, it becomes free for anyone to use it. SO I think it's illogical for people to complain about any text being scanned and being preserved in another medium. That's not so much my problem as this: http://www.google-watch.org/krane.html

I can't wait until next week when I'm not the only one pulling weight around the apartment. I'm so tired of coming home to cook dinner after pulling longer hours than davit.
In other news, why does Gaia come out with new hair and eyes after I changed mine yesterday?

I'm writing code that I've already written before. It's frustrating. Very frustrating. Every piece of code I write isn't something new. It's something I've done before. Stupid cascading filesystem failure.

I love Lady Gaga. I'd much rather listen to this than traditional Christmas music.

TeaDidikai The Disc's Lady most likely. She's a fun one. I'm hoping she's on my side, as well as various medicine gods, this afternoon. I'm not normally big on gods, but dammit, a little divine attention in this case might be nice. Anyone have a divine doctor or something to lend me, brain wise, so I can ace my final and graduate the nursing program today? xd

Hellur. I'm actually in school right now so I can't chat, but I'm here to say hello. I joined the guild a few days ago but I've only just now had the time to get online and do something. lol.
