Karen swooped over to Cassie.
"Hey Cassie. How are you feeling? You look a little nervous."
She elbowed her lightly in the arm.
"I think that's the grooms thang."

Denial ain't just a river in Egypt, Dani, and those two are flooded with it. But the problem is the spell. If he doesn't remove it soon, it could damage him. The spell can't erase his feelings, only contain them. The longer they're contained, the more tightly they cling to his soul. If he doesn't release the spell's grip over him then he will NEVER get over her. And he will never be able to move on. This wouldn't be a problem except...well, their destiny is in flux.
*Eros smiled and began to move off.*
Of course...I never said any names so we could be talking about anyone.

Cassie looks over at Karen... sweet the ceremony hadn't started yet plus it was great distraction.
" Uh? Yeah I guess you're right I just hope everything goes okay for them you know."
Cassie smiled at Karen with a pleading look saying get me away from Wally.

Dani nodded.
"I think i've broken your godly code, o god of love. And don't worry I'm on the case. Those two have hit rough patch after rough patch, but magic doesn't solve problems it just hides it long enough 'till they go insane."
She nodded to Eros.
"I'll go talk to him."

"Oh i'm sure Achilles will be fine. It's Pat I'm worried about, I don't think anyone has checked on him yet."
She held out her hand for Cassie.
"Comon lets go check the Groom to be, Make sure he didn't get cold feet and take off or something."

*Chris played an acoustic version of "Hey, Soul Sister" as Dani approached him. He grimaced. He thought it sounded weird. I have to do better than that for the real song, he thought. He started talking to Dani before she could even open her mouth.*
Hello, Dani. Noticed you were talking to Eros. I suppose he said things he shouldn't have.

Cassie walked away with Karen and as soon as they were out of sight Cassie sighed a sigh of relief and spoke to Karen.
" Thank you"
Cassie never really could relax and be herself around Wally. When she was with Chris it came so naturally but now... well it just nerves that's all.

Karen asked i bit more harshly then she meant to, eyeing Wally suspiciously, No one was going to ruin this wedding, and if that speedy little buttmunch was up to something Karen was sure to put a stop to it. Fast.

She patted his leg reassuringly.
"But he did tell me something important. You should heed his warning Chris. Magic can be a great ally or the worst enemy ever. You need balance. Do you understand?"

Dani, Eros is a liar and a jerk. Did he tell you what he did to me? What he showed me? Supposedly. Cassie's innermost thoughts about you, Wally, and me. He can't be trusted.
And the spell worked...great. I spend my time with Jen. She's happy, I'm happy. We have fun. I l-like her.
I had to get Billy to cast that spell. It was the only way to fix everything.

She sighs, looking down this wasn't going to be easy.

Cassie thought back to Frankie she was crazy that was for sure but she loved Wally.... In many ways Cassie was worse then Frankie...at least Frankie was honest with her feelings. But the visions of Razor Cassie had before it happened.. if she didn't break up with Chris for Wally Razor might've never come out.... till he completely consumed Chris. Of course there was Wally's feelings to consider, Wally said he loved her...but Cassie couldn't say it back. Maybe she would be better single? Yeah break up with Wally and then everyone would hate her. Just keep it to yourself Cass... Karen wouldn't understand no one would. Cassie was so confused so she just smiled at Karen sweetly.
" Don't worry about me. I'll be fine...Besides I can't wait for Achilles and Pat to see the surprise I planned for them after the wedding."
Yeah the HUGE cake... they were sure to love it. Cassie couldn't wait to see the look on their faces.

No, I don't. I'll sing a song for them, stand next to Pat, and then I'll applaud them at the end. I don't it to them to be miserable. To make you, them, Jen, and everyone else miserable because I can't get over Cassie.
She made her choice. Short of leaving school, there is no other way to deal with it. Eros is a liar. Billy's spell worked. And no matter what he showed me, I am not the guy on the beach with the rose.
Now excuse me, I have to practice some more.

The ceremony was set to begin and two of the people who were to stand at the dais for the couple had walked off?
The guests started to take their seats in the vast number of chairs surrounding the beach with the altar in the very center. The gods took the majority of the seats toward the front, with the one exception being for Helena Sandsmark and Diana Prince.
Draculaura dabbed at her weeping eyes with a tissue, wailing, "Oh I just love a beautiful scare-amony!"
Achilles stood on the one side of a silken drapery, hung between two palm trees, rubbing his hands together nervously and eyeing the end of the aisle that led to the dais.
Patroclus stood on the opposite side of the crowd, at the end of another row and aisle, looking about rather nervously. Thetis approached him with a smile.
"Ready?" She inquired and he gave her a polite nod.
Thetis then looked t the kids, Dani...Cassie...Chris...
"Kids, it is time."

Cassie then flew back to beach to stand next to Wally. The both of them were there for Achilles. Cassie had a huge smile on her face she was so proud of her big brother and happy for him as well. Achilles looked handsome in his suit as did Pat. Her mom and Diana were over by Thetis all three it looked like were ready to cry tears of joy. Cassie took Wally's hand and squeezed it slightly.

She wasn't going to cry. Nope. Not one single tear.
She was happy for Achilles and Pat. So there was not need for them.

Dani frowns at Chris leaving, whispering to his back.
"Yes you do." But she was sure he hadn't heard her. They would have to talk later. Privately. Well Maybe with Billy.
Then she turned around in her seat facing the alter, Show time.
