"Nope.. he'll be awhile! *yells* BYE Ran-chan!! We're getting ice cream! Hi Ranpha.. good luck with your talk!" He then grabbed her hand and started leading her to his favorite ice cream place "Ice cream!!! yay!!!!"

He glanced at her out of the corner of his eye "I'm sure we'll be able to manage without it..." *mental snicker* If only she knew he was alot more powerful than Ran and that random demon.. maybe even put together. Kuroi wasn't big on measuring so he never was sure how much power he had..

*Ran nodded his head slowly and looked over to her* Yeah, I'm alive...in one form or another. You don't look like you've been holding up too well. *Ran walked over and looked down at Ranpha. He cursed himself mentally and knew this wasn't going to be good for either of them. She looked like was in rough shape as it is, could he really drop such a bomb on her right now?*

He beamed "Positive! YAY!!!" He cheered as the ice cream place came into view and he dragged her inside jumping up and down like a little kid.

The words echoed again, near bringing tears once more..but the power was stronger this time... she froze her face as if in stone. She looked up at him...She took steadying breaths...she then looked at the ground... "I...I couldn't find you...I searched for so long Ran...I..." The words returned to her mind and she struggled not to say anything about it. "I thought...you were dead... Then...Then i found Hikari...and...And I know you care about her...something....had to be wrong...if you let her die..." she said with a shaky voice...fighting back the tears that now encased her eyes, threatening to spill over onto her now deathly pale cheeks. "I..." She stopped talking...she couldn't make it... she started to shake... She wasn't really thinking about what she said next...it just sort of came out.. her voice was weak and obviously she was on the verge of tears. "Ran. You said you wouldn't hurt me..."

She shook her head when he said that, feeling her heart tear in two..."How...HOW COULD YOU DO SUCH A COLD THING!!?" she his her face in her hands...why? Why did she believe him? Why did she kiss him with her eyes shut so tight? All...for nothing!?
Hearing his next comment...the one about Hikari she she gasped...stepping back in horror she said "...But...Why??" she was now backed up against the tree..her eyes let loose and tears streaked her pale cheeks...she felt like she had no where to go "No...you are a demon.. you ...you have to be lying to me...you have to...I won't...i can't believe it... You aren't like that! You are nice...sweet....loving...Why..Why are you doing this to me!? What did you do to hikari!!?"

*Ran glared and slammed his fist into the tree above her head* I'm not doing this because I want to!! scream *He gritted his teeth and turn around, not feeling like he deserved to look at her* Hikari wanted to die. She and I...eloped in a way. *He held in a breath as he began to spill the entire story* We were together and knew that there wasn't any turning back. But unable to face everyone...especially you, drove us both to a sickening depression. We decided to go together. So we did. *He turned back around slowly and looked to Ranpha* Only...demons can't die under physical circumstances. Hikari was freed from her torment but as a demon, I live on. I continue to walk the world with her death stitch to my soul. *He walked over to a small bush and plucked off two small flowers. Gazing at them for a moment, he quickly crushed them in his palm and squeezed his hand tightly until the nectar from the flowers dripped down his palm* So now you know.

I...don't know...it all looks so...expensive....
