 um... does anyone know if it's normal for parakeets to chew on their cages? i mean, right on the bars themselves...
mine have been doing that a lot, and i'm a bit concerned.

mine have been doing that a lot, and i'm a bit concerned. I've never had parakeets, so I really don't know.

as it turns out - they're just bored!
i decided to google a few things - figured i wouldn't find much as a solution - and there were a few places that said that birds get bored easily, and they love to chew on stuff, more than cats and dogs! eek
so i gotta get them some toys or something...
