Ninjara Fisshu McKenzie stubbled away, her body trembling in sheer pain. She couldn't cry out, she couldn't easily fight back and Faith seemed so lost in herself that there was no chance of her waking up before McKenzie kicked the bucket. She felt the girl land on her. A straggled sound escaped her throat, a sound that formerly would have been a scream. She coughed up more blood before turning to see her attacker. She balled her cindered fingers into a fist and lashed out, striking Faith across the jaw, her knuckles burning at the contact. *Faith fell back, shaking her head clear. She clenched her fist, the fire glowing white hot as she stood and stalked closer to McKenzie. She placed her foot at the back of the girl's neck, pinning her down, and raised her hand for the finishing blow* Farewell... *As she prepared to strike something hit her in the back of the head and she crumpled to the ground unconscious* *Hagrid stood over the fallen girl, a wooden club in his hands. He went over and helped McKenzie to her feet* Are you alright Wallace?McKenzie recognized the voice, but couldn't place it. She knew the question, but couldn't answer. She shook her head as tears fell from her eyes. And with a shudder of pain, she passed out.

*Hagrid picked up the two girls and rushed them to the hospital wing for treatment. When asked what had happened he explained what he saw* Faith was beating Wallace like there was no tomorrow. If I hadn't shown up she undoubtedly would have killed her. It's as though she went mad.
It is fortunate that you did arrive in time Hagrid. *Dumbledore said* I see there is no other choice but to place Miss Malfoy into custody for the time being. I will place her under a binding spell until we can sort this matter out. Until then, I am afraid she poses a possible threat to Miss Wallace. Sad really... *He said as he cast a solemn look between the two girls*
*Faith was placed under a very powerful binding spell that even her phoenix powers couldn't escape while undergoing treatment in the hospital*

McKenzie awoke with a start. She was surprised she was still alive considering the last thing she remembered was Faith about to kill her. BUt now she was in the serene environment of the infirmary. She tried looking around, but her entire body was stiff. She could feel the bandages that wrapped most of her body and the face that most of her was scared were she was burned. She forced out a raspy question, hoping someone was near to hear it. "What happened?"
Madam Pomfrey, hearing the faint voice came scurrying over. "Don't strain yourself Ms. Wallace. Coming back from near death is no easy task. I'm afraid I couldn't get rid of half the burn scars though." She shook her head.
McKenzie took all this in, the wheels in her head running slowly. "What happened to Faith?"
Madam Pomfrey shook her head more before gesturing to a room nearby. "She's been outcold since Hagrid knocked her across the head. She's under a very powerful binding spell since it appears she's become a liability for the school now."
McKenzie's face had a mixed look of terror and pity. She absently voiced her thoughts. "I hope things turn out ok..."

*Dumbledore entered the room upon hearing Madame Pomfrey speaking to someone. When he saw that McKenzie was awake he approached and stood next to her bed* Glad to see you are still with us Ms. Wallace. Do you recall anything that happened between you and Ms. Malfoy that may have provoked her?

Do you recall anything that happened between you and Ms. Malfoy that may have provoked her? McKenzie gave what nod she could. "Yeah... she was having nightmares about her father again. I guess... I guess she just couldn't wake up from it." Her voice was forced and raspy. It hurt to talk, but she wanted the truth out.

Faith Malfoy the First. Stolled into the hospital room with a look of frustraightion. She had been told off repeatedly snice coming to the school every time she asked for her great grand daughter. The elderly woman finally asked for Wallace, getting a answer that she didnt like.
The woman stood there, dressed in blue jeans and a black sweater. Long silver hair pulled into a braide, glasses purched on her nose. All in all for a woman approuching 90 she didnt look a day over 55, and didnt feel it either.
Hearing McKenzie's story Faith was rather displeased and spoke up. "My Grandson is a monster of a man, I'm frankly glad he is dead. He is capable of everything this young woman has said and then some"

She looked the woman over, sizing her up. There was definately a personality similarity and somewhat of an appearance one as well. She looked back at Dumbledore. "Please be easy on Faith when she is awake... she'll... she'll need everything explained to her. She won't remember doing any of this to me."

Faith's tone was cool "Oh please Albert[?] I was beaten all the same as my great grand daughter and made it through. A surrpression of her dreams will only serve to make things worst".
The old woman's eyes flickered to McKenzie, eyeing the girl up and down before a small flicker of a smile danced on her lips that faded quickly before she looked back to the headmaster "If it is allowable at this time Albert, I suggest we bring Wallace to my great grand daughter before she awakens. I have no doubt it will do her some good to see a face not holding her in captivity"
