*Sigh*

I've got some guys going to Kyoto next April for the 200th Anniversary Budotukusai. It'll be about 3000 martial artists in attendance, every one of them wearing a white belt. Six days of training, and I got a look at the options. You sign up for the courses you want to attend.

I can't attend due to money and family responcibilites, and knowing this did not put down a deposit. The more I hear about it, the more I want to go. I know full well that I'd be sore for a month afterwards, but it would be totally worth it. I'd love to get out on the mats and brush up on my Aikido. Guess it's a good thing I locked myself out of it, since there's no way I could go over there for over a week.

Damn J-man! That sounds like a great opportunity for a ton of peole, I would say it sucks you can't go and all, but you've got those kick a** cannibal children of yours to train and all at home. xD Of course, if you ever get bored you're more than welcome to come down here and whip the asses of my kids around ANYTIME.

By the by, how's that wife of yours doing? I mean, we get 'J-Kid Updates' and all, but what about the lady behind the awesome? Tell her I said 'Hola'. xD

My wife? She's ornery. Takin' pictures all the damn time, and cloggin' up my computer. And when she's not takin' pictures, she's payin' other people to take pictures. Then she's lookin' at me, "Why don't you take any pictures? Why aren't you in any pictures?"

Dammit Kapow, you've seen what I look like. Shouldn't be any doggone question about why I don't want to be in any pictures. Never liked having my picture taken.

Now don't get me wrong, I love them doggone kids. They're cute, and we've had some good pictures of them. But remember this, for those three pictures I've posted on here, THERE'S THOUSANDS MORE OF THEM! gonk

It ain't right, Kapow.

"The memory card for the camera's full."

Again! We just uploaded all the pictures of it two days ago! It ain't right. Then the relatives get in one it. "Oh, we got the cutest little outfit. They'd look so pretty in a portrait."

PORTRAIT?! KAHOOTS!!! scream Kahoots, I say! Kahoots on all of them!

Buyin' all these outfits that they're gonna wear maybe once, for more doggone pictures. Wife comin' to me with all these coupons for deals at that picture taken place at the mall, and tellin' me about how the cutest outfit she's ever seen was such and such a percent off. Tellin' me about how much money she saved.

Kapow, tell me how spendin' $150 dollars is savin' me anything? I'll be savin' trips to the barber shop when all of this makes my hair grey and falls out. Then I'll look like my old man. Doggone karma. Should never have made fun of the bald old goat.

"What do you think of this picture? What do you think of this background? Well, what do you think of this picture?"

What do I think? I think the only thing I've had to eat is a handful of trail mix and a Gatoraid to wash it down. FIX ME MY SUPPER, WOMAN! scream

Danged wiles. She plied them on me, Kapow. Used to have me over. Lure me in with kung fu movies and fresh baked banana bread.

Now I'm up to my eyeballs in dirty diapers, messy clothes, and doggone pictures.

I haven't seen any doggone banana bread in years.

...

What was question, again? confused

Oh, the wife?

Yeah, she's fine.

Ollie looks about ready to take me out. And what's up with him and Dinah towering over me?

One easy way to get really nice portrait pictures for not a lot of money at all is to hire art students. Photography students, or even just really creative students, will make beautiful pictures for about $50. Portrait studios are something to invest in when you're taking really important pictures, and even then I say shop around. You're better off just hiring artists.

And you know, Kitty, I think you should be my booth babe.

I thought it was already established that I was going to be?

Gotcha. Wait. Does this require me to dress up like one of your characters?

Not at the moment, no. And you'll be glad to know that my characters all wear very fashionable and comfortable clothing that for the most part covers very well.

...Except Dantes. But you're not 6"5, rail thin or a man, so it doesn't matter.

I may, however, be required to dye your hair a host of unusual colors.

And maybe you can ask Gene Ha to pretend to be you for a change?

...my god that would be hysterical. I would nearly die of laughter were that to occur. It must be so!
