Hiyoshi giggled inwardly, nodding to Marie. Hai hai, children do love to talk. That tends to disappear in their teens, in quite a few experiences, though there're some that will continue to talk on, and some that won't talk ever. Hiyoshi paused her words to think about her children a moment before gesturing for Marie to head down a westward path.

Erordia nodded some, actually looking forward to seeing Lena again. She missed a lot of people that she hadn't seen recently. "How are those two doing, by the way? Any wedding bells yet?"
Marie took the path, smiling at the different colored flowers as the passed. "True. Though I've only been around the younger varity. Ah, they're all so sweet." She then wondered how Luel would react if she sat him down to talk about children, their children.

Hiyoshi smiled brightly and nodded in agreement, continuing on with Marie until they came near a sort of wall of topiaries. Hiyoshi led Marie around them, where in a sort of secluded area of the gardens stood a great tree, a mix of pale pink blossoms, deep purple leaves, and beautifully plump black cherries. Fallen blossoms adorned the emerald grass under the tree, and a couple feet away began a rather large sort of peanut-shaped pond; Cattails stand from the edge of the water in an almost protective barrier to one end, and at the end nearest the tree, stones line the pond. Hiyoshi smiled brightly to Marie, looking to her for her reaction.

"Mmm, not that I know of..." Isabella said with a bit of a shrug "I'm sure Lena has thought about it, but I dunno... maybe soon, those two were meant for eachother..."

When Marie came to the new garden, she stopped and smiled. She'd never seen a garden quite like it before. She the walked around slowly, looking at each plant closely. When getting to the pond, she glanced down at the water as if expecting several fish to look back. "This place is beautiful and very secluded."
"That they are." Marie was the only one that she knew of that was getting married though she didn't know when. Erordia had never really thought about it before simply because she had never thought she'd find anyone that accepted her. "Have you ever thought about getting married before?"

"I never really thought about it much when I was younger, but as I've gotten older, I have..." Isabella said with a nod "I'd love to get married someday... settle down and live happily ever after with the one I love..." she smiled and laughed a bit. "Ugh, I sound so corney..."

It is...I was so surprised to find it, it was simply breathtaking in the morning light! Hiyoshi purred, moving to peer into the water of the pond as well. A few small koi swam about - their bright oranges and whites making it very easy to see them.

Erordia laughed lightly then shook her head. "Not corny at all. I think it's a lovely dream." Though, would she get married herself? She certainly didn't want to end up like her mother or any of her sisters.
Marie smiled as she continued to look around. "Oh, I can only imagine. Though, it must look different at different times." Though she loved the morning sun, Marie always thought that gardens became more mysterious and wonderous at night under a sky of stars and a full moon.

Actually it looked very much the same, which striked me as curious. I'm tempted to stay the rest of the day and into the evening. Hiyoshi giggled softly, clasping her pale hands behind her back, her honey eyes dancing over the strange tree.

Erordia blushed slightly then shrugged. "I have...but I'm a bit afraid of what it'd be like. I'm also afraid that if I don't marry some day that I'll end up like the other women in my family..."
Marie tilted her head at Hiyoshi then looked back to the plants. "Looks the same? Ah, I've never seen that before." Now she was curious and kind of wanted to stay as well just so she could see for herself.

Erordia rubbed the back of her head slightly before dropping her hand. "They don't marry. Drow women are...tough. They are the leaders of the race and will take on consorts whenever they please." She then tilted her head in thought. She never remembered seeing any drow females with female lovers before but she knew it probably could be possible. They always saw themselves as better than males and would probably take on a female lover to spite them. Was she as bad as them? Isabella wasn't drow and Erordia cared deeply for her. It wasn't an issure of spiting the males...but it still almost felt like she was following that path.

"Well, that's certainly different than humans... if anything, it's males that think they're the leaders of the race and usually go through girlfriends rather than getting married and settling down.... and yeah, there women that do it too.. but more often it's men..."

Erordia nodded a little. She'd noticed that in her travels but had never gotten involved with such men. "I just hope I'm not like them. I don't shun men or think I'm above them...but I'm not dating one either."
