Lacuna opened her eyes and calmly nodded.
"Ah.. Yes.. Just well, lonely.", she said. "I don't enjoy being lonely and that's what I always seem to be.. I kind of miss Jak, but I haven't seen him in a while.. He keeps so busy..", she blushed and sighed.
"Sorry.. here I go rambling about nonsense.. I'm Lacuna, and you?

Arista rolled her eyes at Mikey. No, No there's not. There was, but you changed my mind. she huffed. And it's not typical that I feel like doing what I was going to anyways! she added, snubbing her nose to him and turning away, lifting her gown again as she moved to find a table of her own against the darkened walls of the club.
Idiot mortal ruined the one chance I felt like giving to apologize to someone. Ha! And people wonder why I don't associate with mortals. she mumbled to herself.

Smiling gently Merryn pulled a seat over to sit down next to Lacuna. I'm Merryn, but you can call me 'Ryn if you'd like. You and this Jak are really close I take it? I have a close boy that I never see anymore, but he rescued me. He's more my brother than anything. Playing with the creases of her skirt she frowned a little. I'm the best person to talk to about lonliness.

Rhoslyn swayed into the star, dressed in her land kimono and uneasy on legs. She looked around, and as usual saw nothing but mortals. tottering over to the bar, she perched on a stool and ordered a drink.

Lena smiled and sat the martini down infront of Jak and nodded to Aurora as she fetched the bottle of merlot. Mikey rolled his eyes as Arista walked away, and quickly turned back to Tasi as he said "It's quite alright... and, sure... you could see some of my art..."

Akki followed him off the dance floor. Smiling happily, she nodded. "I guess it wasnt open much when it was just Ric and Birdy, but I dont mind helping with the store now if Ric lets me. My favorite ? That would have to be Tolkien. I also love Shakespeare, Anne McCaffrey...and lots of others."

Turning to Jak Aurora eyed the martini. That looks really good. Leaving it in the open she did imaginary flute fingerings in the air. Say, Lena, did you know there's a lake in the woods? It really sings. And the best part is that it's beautiful the most when it rains and the drips of the rain make beat with your music. Giggling Aura looked at her hands. I'm rambling in my excitement.
That's quite the range. The Tortouise and The Hare is my favourite of his non-sonnets poems. Shakespeare that is... Pulling out a chair for Akki and then seating himself his arms rest on the table. I don't say it often, but Emily Dickinson is one of my favourite poets.

Jak thanked Lena for the drink and took a sip. His gaze scanned the room, avoiding the side he knew Lacuna was sitting in. Akki seemed to be enjoying herself, talking happilyto the boy she was with.

Tasi giggles, and opens the art book. She flips through the pages slowly, studying each peice of art for a few seconds. A couple drawings she looks at for a little bit longer, a couple drawings make her smile. When she gets done looking through the drawings she looks at Mikey and says 'Wow, those are amazing..I can't draw like that at all!' She smiles softly and blushes.
