Longbow UK Raganui Minamoto hmm... I'll go look it up... and ask Lady Kraski. If you got it from the name generator then chances are it was made up. The first names are often the same as LOTR/Silmarillion characters, but the last names are usually just loosely based on Elven surnames for some reason. yea... nothing at all on it... when looked up I found alot of other people witht the same last name. *shrugs* we'll see if Lady Kraski has any info as to what it could mean.

You can try, but like I said, these Elven name generators are mostly based on the work of Tolkien, so if it's not an actual name in any of his books then chances are it's just randomly made up, based on names in the books.

Nice one. That list you provided is actually very accurate. I'm not sure what source you used, but they are all based on Elements in Quenya and Sindarin names. 3nodding
You could also use:
alda - 'Tree' amon - 'Hill' , Plural - Emyn an(d) - 'Long' as in Anduin - The great river. beleg - 'Mighty' as in Belegaer caran - 'Red' cu - 'Bow' curu - 'Skill' dae - 'Shadow' dagor 'Battle' din - 'Silent' as in Amon Din draug - 'Wolf' ereg - 'Thorn, holly' fea - 'Spirit' as in Feanor, Feanturi fuin - 'Gloom, darkness' as in Fuinur, Taur-nu-Fuin gaer - 'Sea' as in Belegaer gond - 'Stone' as in Gondolin(Hidden Rock) gul - 'Sorcery' as in Dol Guldur(The tower built by Sauron in Greenwood in the Third age.) gurth - 'Death' as in Gurthang heru - 'Lord' iaur - 'Old' as in Iant Iaur, the Elvish name for Tom Bombadil - Iarwain. Meaning Oldest and Fatherless. kemen - 'Earth' as in Kementari, the surname of Yavanna, Queen of the earth. khelek - 'Ice' khil - 'Follow' lhach - 'Leaping Flame' luin - 'Blue' as in Ered Luin - The Blue mountains los - 'Snow' maeg - 'Sharp' mel - 'Love' also relates to 'Mellon' - Elvish word for friend. minas - 'Tower' as in Minas Tirith. mor - 'Dark' as in Mordor, Morgoth etc... naug - 'Dwarf' as in Naugrim - Ancient Elvish name for Dwarves. nen - 'Water' orn - 'Tree' as in Celeborn(Silver Tree) - Celeb being 'Silver' nim - 'White' roch - 'Horse' ruth - 'Anger' sereg - 'Blood' as in Seregon. sul - 'Wind' as in Amon Sul - at the end of the Weather Hills. tar - 'High' - Lofty, Tall etc... thin(d) - 'Grey' thol - 'Helm' tol - 'Isle' val - 'Power' as in Valar, Valinor yave - 'Fruit' as in Yavanna 'Giver of Fruits'
...long list... lol. I didn't add all of them, there are alot more. Also bare in mind that alot of these are meant to have special characters in them, but since Gaia is rejecting special characters I left them out. (If you have a name but your not sure whether/where it needs characters e.g. accents, two dots about a vowel, etc. Just ask)
And in answer to the earlier question, what does Fefalas mean, well Falas means 'Shore' as for Fe, there is no definition, possibly something along the lines of spirit though.

I used the Silmarillion wink
I think Fefalas does indeed mean "Spirit Shore". There are times when you can omit letters (if it interrupts the flow and whatnot). Example: Seldaara is made up of two elements: "Selde" - Daughter and "Aara" - Dawn. I omitted the "e" since it sort of made it sound kind of "stuttered". One could also argue that the "e" is silent, there for it can be omitted.
The element for "Spirit" is Fea (the "e" in this one should have two dots above it, but like Longbow said, Gaia is rejecting the special letters again), which basically sounds the same as Fe, I believe, therefore the "a" can be omitted. 3nodding
Raganui: I just didn't have anything to do for a while, you know, when I had absolutely no school. . . whee

I used the Silmarillion wink Likewise. wink ...I had nothing better to do either so I just ploughed through the indexes... I hope they sort out that special characters bug soon... it's quite annoying, especially when referring to Elven names... it makes it very inaccurate. (I'm also in a LOTR RP guild; it's messed up alot of previous posts by changing the characters. Very annoying.) sad
