(((Just so everyone is aware...Kayako is still poed. The real me shall hereby try to reserve it for my character. Okay TOLLY?? stare )))
"Alright, Gray stop dancing, we're gonna head for just outside the city for now. Once there, we can plan our next move. We have three weeks to burn, and I'd rather not spend it doing nothing."
Silence flew up to the left of Kayako and Senturi, Asuka wisely staying quiet about the purple-haired girl's sudden upset. Really, they should all be used to this by now.....if it wasn't one thing bothering the group, it was another. The world didn't seem to fond of the little squad of fugitives.
"One thing we deffinatly need to do is earn some money. We need supplies, but we'll probably have to go somewhere else to get 'em. Del Ceilo isn't safe, plus the patrolmen from that base will be looking for us."

(Ooh, yay!! Rain gets to see regular society!! biggrin ))
Rain flew silently on the other side Senturi. She remained silent the whole time, trying to avoid saying anything that would even spark Kayako's rage. To keep herself occupied, she gazed out of the hatch and at the clouds around them. They were pretty much the only viewable things at the moment.

Glory follwed everyone, she wasj ust along for the ride and was now follwoing Jenny again. Really she had no idea what to do right now.

When they reached the forest at the edge of the city, Kayako steered Senturi down to the ground for a landing.
"Okay people, we'll land then discuss this, alright?"
She wasn't in the mood for trouble, but this needed to be talked out and decided on. Sure, they were kids....but even kids needed food and shelter, among other things.

While going in for a landing, Rain noticed some small trails of green off in the distance. Squinting her eyes to get a better view, she could make out some small shapes of people on boards like the ones the other LFOs were on, but people sized. She needed to inquire her Fountain of Knowledge,, her Holy Grail of Wisdom, her Wikipedia, about this.
She came in for a landing and set Eden down beside Senturi. She hopped out of the cockpit and made her way to Kayako.

Kayako looked over and blinked in surprise watching Rain walk over. It was so easy to see that girl had some strange thing one her mind...the question at hand was what on earth it was this time.
Halfway out of Senturi, already, the purple-haired girl sat on her LFO's shoulders.
"What is it Rainy?"

Once "Rainy" reached the violet and black LFO, she looked up at Kayako. She had that typical look upon her face when something tickled her curiousity. She cocked her head to the side in that oh-so-adorable way of hers and opened her mouth to ask her inquiry.
"Kayako," she started. "I saw some people flying around on boards like the ones Senturi, Mercury, and Jenny do. What are those? What are they doing?"

"Oh those...? Those are Ref Boards. It's like a sport, or just something fun. Lots of people do it.....they ride them just like our LFO's do."
Sometimes Kayako forgot how sheltered Rain was. Back when she was one of Dewey's little 'angels', she'd already gotten past that phase and made battle-ready. She had known little to nothing before she got out too, but she knew practical things like what reffing was and such. Apparently that was just battle training, in case someone fleed on one or something.
"Actually, I have a ref board...got it from an old saleman just a little while after I started wandering..."
The girl went back inside and dug around a bit, finally managing to free the board that had stayed stuck behind the seat for a long time now. After all, when was there time to use it?
"See?" She showed her friends the black and red device she kept with her.

Rain leaned down a little and studied it. She was quite amazed with it, like it was some new alien technology or something close to that. She looked up from the board and at Kayako. "I want to ride it," she said, a little sternly, in fact.

This Kayako had to see. Rain riding a ref board would be interesting to say the least, considering she was the sickeningly cute and sheltered one. She held out the board to the redhead, just to see how she would go about doing this.
"It's pretty much just how I do it with Senturi..."

Rain took the board. Looking it over, she tried to figure out how to use it. Shrugging, she placed it on the ground and stepped on. Somehow by magicaly cool ways, the board "turned on" and she was flying out towards the tree tops.
At first, she was freaking out. She was doing all those usual scared-type things to do. When she closed her eyes tight when she saw a tree coming straight at her. It was then that something flashed in her mind. That dream she had had so many countless times in the Foundation. Of her and other people doing the exact same thing; lifting on those boards.
Something, most likely instinct, took over and she turned the board upwards and towards the sky. She manipulated the board some more with her feet and began to turn about as she went.

"Huh....hope for our sakes she doesn't crash."
Kayako sat with her arms crossed on top of Senturi, watching the insanly cute redhead flying around in a happy-go-lucky way. She really was a weird girl...always doing some strange airy thing that surprises everyone to no apparent end.
Although....it was fun to watch her flip around the sky like that.

((Memories!! xd Those dreams of hers are memories!! Since she's been liftin' since she was in the diapers, it's all that muscle memory kinda garbage. Like... I dunno. It's hard to explain. razz ))
Rain was doing just as Kayako's person described her as doing; flipping around in the sky. She was actually getting excited. She was feeling exhilirated as she flew about. As she was gaining speed, she was also gaining some altitude.
Seeing a cloud formation, she bolted towards it. She entered the dense mass of molecules and came out on the top side, making a little flair of cloud mixed with trapar. She looked down at the ground far below her.
Something shiny and green caught her eye as she slowed down from her upwrad movement. Turning to look, she saw it was a flock of skyfish. She turned the board and chased after them, wanting to fly along with the strange little creatures, much like herself in some sense.

That was the purple-haired watcher's only comment on this matter. The girl was indeed very much like a skyfish, down to that mysterious green gem on her forehead. Kayako never had ask about what that thing was. It wasn't from the foundation, that was for sure....it had to be some leftover from Rain's former life. Seemed weird that the scientists had done nothing about it, considering they usually wanted nothing connecting the experiments to their human lives anywhere near the kids.

The skyfish soon began to circle around Rain as she caught up with them. She reached her hand out and let one fly just above it. The feeling of this thrill and excitement began to get to Rain as she wanted to try something daring. She put her weight onto one side of the board and began to do a barrel roll. Surprisingly, she seemed to have executed it flawlessly. The skyfish began to fly patterns around her, gracing their "queen" with their subjectliness.
"I can't believe it!" Rain shouted. "I'm actually doing it!!" Of course, she was more mentioning those dreams she's had and not all those fancy moves she had been doing. And for what seemed the first time ever, a smile broke out across her face. It was the single most happy moment she's ever had that she could remember. Even greater than when she got broken out of the Foundation.
