We just learned the difinition of foil characters in American Lit. not too long ago.
I believe they were characters that have different personalities and such. I don't remember anything being said about it having to be a main character, though.

I donno, I just saw the '!?' at the end of the title for the next chapter and it made me think the battle may not be quite over. Like Kishimoto's trying to make it look like Jiraiya's gonna win, when he's not really going to.
But hey, I sure wouldn't mind Jiraiya winning. Or atleast getting out alive. Which is what I really want. crying

This Jiraiya/Pein fight is like the fight Sasuke had with Deidara.

there's usually a drag period during fights, unfortunately.
but this one is actually pretty interesting. probably because kishimoto is being smart about it and keeping me curious about what happened to the three. namely yahiko and nagato.

I don't know... rethinking this chapter, I actually want the frogs to burst in to song.

Tried to play Toad's Melody. It's hard ('cuz my music skills have been lost) but it sounds good so far.
I want the fight to be over. It keeps on going.
