"Visiting. Isn't that what relatives and friends do at hospitals?" said Lucky, rolling his eyes a bit. "So, you're Asher's brother, right? You're also joining the organization, I heard." He softened his voice at the last sentence, glancing at Asher to make sure he wasn't awake. "You looking forward to it?"

Leo stared at Lucky dead in the eye, almost as if he could see the boy. Something was off about this whole situation. His heart nearly skipped a beat when the other mentioned the organization, Leo grabbed Lucky's arm and dragged him out of the room. "Okay, how do you know about the organization and how do you know my brother? He's never mentioned you as long as I've known him." he said rather interrogatingly, but Leo had a right to defend his brother.

Lucky just smiled despite Leo's apparent suspicion. "We'll be working together, that's why," he answered. "I'm in the crime fighting unit as one of their spies. I wanted to deliver some message, but Grandpa told me not to say anything." He maneuvered his arm out of Leo's grasp and took a step back. "Also, your brother and I go way back, even beyond my own memory. Kinda weird, right?"

Leo wasn't satisfied with the boy's answer about his relation to his brother but it would have to do for now. "If you've been watching the news then you can imagine why I'm so cautious about who I speak to or who visits my brother." he said softly. "Look I accepted to join without my brother's permission...he doesn't know I've made my decision and I don't want him to know just yet. He's suffered enough and I don't want him stressed more than he already is. So please don't tell him." he asked, hoping the boy would respect his wishes. "What do you mean you two go beyond your own memory?" The Crazy Tomboy ((I'm starting to like this idea a little more now! lol!! ))

"It's simply me using fancy words to say we knew each other and I don't remember," Lucky said with a shrug. "So, Asher doesn't know? Weird... I would think Grandpa would like to make sure he agrees first before he makes any plans for housing and jobs for you and your friends. Meh... If you can convince Asher to go to Ragnarok Hotel with you, I'm sure you can convince him that you've made the right decision." From his observations, and from Grandpa's accounts, Lucky saw Leo as an overprotective puppy, though maybe with a bit more hostility. "What made you accept, anyways? You were so adamant about not going in the first place. You sure change your mind quickly."

Leo was ready to yell at this boy, he didn't 'convince' his brother. Lucky made it sound as though Leo coerced his brother into such a dangerous situation when Asher came with him because he wanted to. But he didn't want to wake the other patients. "I agreed because.....we're losing our home. Asher knows that much at least."

"So, it's only for a new home? I guess that's a start," Lucky said, pacing back and forth for a moment. "Are you ready for it? You're likely to go back to school while you're there, train until you drop, lose Asher... Well, maybe you won't lose him, but he probably won't spend as much time with you. Grandpa would want to catch up on lost time and there's a special someone at the organization who may or may not take your place." He probably said too much, but he did enjoy Leo's reactions. "Did Asher tell you anything about his past? Or what he remembers of it?"

"How dare you say that!! He won't forget me just because we move to a new place, we've been together forever and that's how it's going to stay!!!" Leo yelled, though he was quickly shushed by the nurses, but his red cheeks proved he wasn't going to calm down so easily. Now that Lucky was asking though, Asher never really told him a lot about his family. Leo just assumed Ash couldn't remember that far, they were very young when they first met after all. "N-no....he hasn't really said much about his family. He didn't even know Daniel was his grandfather until Daniel said something." The two of them had been so busy lately that he hadn't really thought much about Asher's family.

Lucky was taken aback when Leo yelled at him, but it was sort of expected. "Together forever, you say? We'll see," he said. He raised an eyebrow when the other boy admitted he didn't know much about Asher's family. "Did you bother to ask? Well, I suppose you can start as soon as he wakes up. There are quite a few things you would like to know, I'm sure."

Leo shook his head. "I'm not going to bombard him with questions when he first wakes up, and neither are you. If you care for him at all you'll let him wake up a little and have something to eat before you talk to him." he said softly, going back into the room briefly so he could set the plate with the pie on the counter. "If you wait in the waiting room, I'll come get you when he wakes up." Leo said before he closed the door on Lucky.

When Leo closed the door on him, Lucky decided it was time to leave. It was about time to head back to the organization headquarters and then to his room before Grandpa found out where he had gone. Besides, he should let the brothers talk a bit.Asher didn't know why, but he somehow woke up perhaps a half-hour after dawn. It wasn't unusual, as he would usually get up around this time or later to get to work, but it had been a while. Perhaps it had something to do with that yelling he heard earlier in his dreamless sleep. It did startle him a bit.

Leo waited for his brother to wake up, he would have slept in a chair but the words Lucky spoke from earlier started to bother him. What did that guy mean by "We'll see"? There was nothing to "see" about, he was telling the truth. Asher and him had been together since he could remember and there was nothing that was going to tear them apart. After a little while he heard some soft movement nearby and smiled a little, hopping off the counter he was sitting on. "Are you awake Ash?" he whispered softly.

"Yeah, I'm awake," Asher replied, smiling at his brother. "You're here earlier than usual. Not that I mind." His smile disappeared when he saw how troubled Leo looked. "Did something happen earlier? You look like something's bothering you.

Leo looked up at his brother and smiled a little. "Don't worry about it. Just a lot on my mind right now." he said softly as he moved toward his brother's bed. "How did you sleep?" Leo asked as he sat on the edge of Asher's bed, feeling the comfort of his brother's presence.

"Pretty well. I think I can actually sit up now," Asher said. though he didn't really bother getting up. "Just a day or two more, I guess." He took Leo's hand and squeezed it. "You sure you're alright? You know you can tell me anything."
